We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son in prayer. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we trust in Your power to break every chain and set the captives free. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we rebuke every curse that has been spoken or enacted against and her son in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them from every scheme of the enemy. Every generational curse, every word of death and destruction, every plan of the evil one, we break it now by the power of the cross. Let Your light shine into every dark place, Lord, and let Your peace reign in their hearts.

Father, we also lift up ’s son to You, asking for Your healing touch in his life. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, that his body would respond to godly discipline and nourishment. Give him wisdom to care for himself in a way that honors You, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Strengthen him in mind, body, and spirit, and let him find his worth and identity in Christ alone.

Lord, we also ask for healing from past hurts. The enemy would love to keep him bound in pain, bitterness, or shame, but we declare that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Pour out Your love and comfort upon him, and let him experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others as You have forgiven him (Ephesians 4:31-32). Replace every lie with Your truth, every wound with Your peace, and every fear with Your perfect love.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have redemption and by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May and her son walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every curse and strong in Your grace. Amen.

If there are areas in their lives where sin has given the enemy a foothold, we encourage them to confess and repent, for the Scripture says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let them draw near to God, and He will draw near to them (James 4:8). We also encourage them to seek godly counsel and community, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and we are not meant to walk this journey alone.

We’re joining you in prayer for this son, for every curse to be broken, for his physical health as he works toward safe weight loss, and for deep healing from the hurts he’s carried.

It’s clear you love him and want him free. In our own prayer times, we’ve seen that freedom often comes as we deliberately hand each heavy memory or fear over to Jesus, trusting His light to reach into the dark places. Sometimes that means inviting His presence into specific painful moments from the past and letting His truth and comfort replace the old messages. That kind of inner healing can happen quietly in personal prayer, or with a wise, spiritually mature pastor or prayer minister who can walk alongside him. If he’s open to that, it might be a practical next step, not because he lacks faith, but because we all need companions when the battle is heavy.

For his physical health, we’d encourage him to see a doctor who can offer medical guidance on safe, sustainable weight loss. God gives wisdom through trained professionals, and that doesn’t compete with prayer; it can work alongside it. We’ll ask for both discipline and freedom from whatever has made this a struggle.

As we pray, we hold firmly that Jesus has all authority over any spiritual attack, and we stand against any curse in His name, not magically, but because His victory is real. Our trust is in His power to deliver and heal, not in our own words.

Lord Jesus, You see this son and every weight he bears, seen and unseen. We bring him before You now, asking You to shatter every curse, every dark assignment against him. Silence the voice of the enemy and release him into the freedom You purchased. For the wounds of his past, we ask for Your gentle, thorough healing: enter those memories with peace, lift the shame, and restore what has been stolen. Give him courage to face what hurts and to forgive where he needs to. For his body, grant wisdom for healthy change, and protect him from discouragement. Surround him with wise, supportive people. We ask this in Your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

The cry for deliverance is ever heard by the ear of our faithful God. You ask that all curses against this mother and her son be ended now. Consider this: a curse cannot rest where the blood of Christ has spoken peace. He Himself was made a curse for us, and God has found a ransom; He saith, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.” No malediction of earth or hell can stand before that word. The Son hath answered for all iniquity, and the Father is gracious. Trust in that undoing of every curse at the cross, and let faith silence every accusing voice.

For the son’s healing from past hurts, bring him to the tree of life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue. His hand can reach into the depths of old wounds and pour in the oil of His grace. Afflictions the Lord hath used to chasten sorely are not sent in anger but from dear covenant love, and after the bruising comes the binding up. Resign these sorrows into the Father’s hands; He who delivered us from the power of darkness can deliver from the fascinating power of remembered pain. He keeps back the soul from the pit and healeth the broken in heart.

Concerning his weight, it is a small matter for the God who governs the stars to give the body rule and temperance. But let him look first to the inward man; deliverance from sin is as much the work of God as pardon, and the Spirit can master every appetite. Prayer, not mere diet, must be his strength. Seek deliverance from the throne, it is a gift of divine love. Then, in due measure, the burden shall be lifted, and you shall both live and declare the works of the Lord.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. The real curse is not a word spoken against you, but the sin that clings to your own soul. If you are in Christ, no enchantment can harm you; the devil has no power except where we open the door. So examine yourself: Have you given place to bitterness? Do you nurse old wounds instead of offering them to God? Repent of any unforgiveness, and the curse becomes a shadow with no substance. As for the boy's weight, do not seek only a thinner body but a restored soul. What good is a light frame if the mind is heavy with care? Teach him temperance not as a worldly diet but as a fruit of the Spirit. Let him fast from malice and feast on prayer, and his body will follow the soul's health. Past hurts are healed not by forgetting them but by thanking God for them. If you suffer wrong and give thanks, you exchange an earthly loss for heavenly treasure. The world's wounds are many, but this is the surgery of Christ: bring them to the Church, pour out tears, receive the medicine of the Eucharist, and you will find that what the enemy meant for evil, God uses for your salvation. Stand firm in faith, not looking for a quick deliverance but for a transformed heart, and all else will be added.

Your prayer for deliverance and your son’s wellbeing touches on deep, real needs. The Scriptures reveal something foundational about curses and blessings. They were not random; they were tied directly to a covenant with God. When the law was read from Mount Ebal, the people heard the curses for disobedience and answered with a sober amen, acknowledging God’s righteous judgment. The heart of the matter was always turning away from the Lord and His commands to follow other things.

The good news is that Jesus stepped into that covenant reality for us. He became the curse on our behalf, ending its power for those who are in Him. So when you ask that curses be ended, you are standing on solid ground. Because of Christ, any curse spoken against you or your son is broken. Its authority is finished. You do not need to live under the shadow of words spoken by others, because the final word over your life belongs to the Lord who redeemed you.

Now, about your son’s need to lose weight safely and find healing from past hurts, there is something important to understand. God often works through a process. We see one recorded instance where Jesus healed a man gradually, in stages. That does not make the healing any less divine. It reminds us that the body’s own restorative processes, which God Himself created, can be part of His good work. Pray for wisdom for your son as he cares for his physical health. Seek the Lord’s help in establishing discipline, but know that the one who designed the body can bring about change in a way that is safe and lasting.

Past hurts are a different kind of wound, and they can be the heaviest burden of all. It is easy to live in the horror of what happened, replaying it, tormenting yourself with thoughts of what should have changed. Job, in his misery, cried out from that kind of pain. But the Bible shows us a better way. Paul had a past filled with things he once valued, and he counted them all as loss for the excellency of knowing Christ. He did not just do that once, thirty years earlier, he kept counting it as loss in the present. The past loses its grip when your current experience of Jesus becomes more real and more precious than the memories that haunt you.

That applies to the hurts inflicted by others, the betrayals, the trust that was shattered. David knew that pain when a close friend turned against him, and his words were as smooth as butter while war raged in his heart. The injury is real. You may feel the sting of wanting vengeance or just an end to the ache. This is where you bring it all to the Lord honestly. Ask Him not only to heal the scars in your son’s emotions and mind but also to guard his heart from bitterness. A divine healing can happen inwardly, soothing the wounds and replacing the weight of the past with a genuine freedom.

Let the past truly become the past. Do not let old failures or old hurts be the lens through which he sees his future. The call is to forget what is behind and press forward. If there is guilt tangled up with those memories, confess it openly to God. He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. You cannot run from guilt, but you can lay it down at the cross. That honesty is the road back to peace.

Jesus drew great multitudes because they heard He had the power to heal and deliver. He has not changed. Bring this request to Him with confidence. Pray that He would come near to your son with His powerful, restoring presence: heal the body through wise choices and your sustaining grace, heal the mind and the emotions from the deep marks left by others, and break every chain of condemnation from the past. Lord Jesus, how desperate is our need for you. We call upon you and ask you to be near, to bring your delivering power, and to make your healing known in this life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
