We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and set free. We declare that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. We pray that those reading this would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they do not already, for apart from Him, there is no true deliverance or healing.

Lord, we rebuke every curse, every evil assignment, and every dark spiritual influence that has been directed against and her son in the mighty name of Jesus. We break these curses by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for our redemption and freedom. The Word of God declares that Christ became a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). We declare that no weapon formed against or her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their bodies, their minds, and their spirits, and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we pray specifically for ’s son, that You would bring safe and godly weight loss according to Your will. We ask that You would strengthen his body, regulate his metabolism, and give him the discipline and wisdom to care for his health in a way that honors You. Your Word tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that he would find joy in nourishing his body with foods that are good and wholesome, and that he would develop habits that lead to long-term health and vitality.

We also lift up the deep hurts and wounds of the past that may still linger in his heart. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm over every painful memory, every rejection, every disappointment, and every trauma that has left its mark on his soul. Bring Your comfort, Your peace, and Your restoration. Let him know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that he would forgive those who have hurt him, just as You have forgiven us, and that he would release any bitterness or resentment that may be holding him captive.

Father, we also pray for spiritual protection over and her son. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no evil come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). We ask that You would fill their hearts with Your truth, Your love, and Your presence. Let them walk in the light of Your Word, and may Your Holy Spirit guide them in all their ways. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no curse, no weapon, and no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son and your whole family before the Lord. It’s plain how deeply you care, and we don’t take that lightly, we believe God sees it too.

As we’ve prayed, we keep coming back to this: in Christ, the power of any curse or harmful word is decisively broken. No matter how it came or how long it’s weighed on you, it cannot stand against the life and love Jesus has for you both. So we’re simply asking Him to silence every voice from the past that has spoken against your son, to replace shame with dignity, and heaviness with hope.

For his weight loss, we’re grateful he has you cheering him on. We’d gently encourage him, alongside prayer, to enlist a doctor or nutritionist who can walk alongside him with safe, sensible guidance. True health is a good desire, and God often meets us through those with practical wisdom.

Those past hurts you named, they can settle deep and need more than just time. Jesus draws close to the brokenhearted, and healing often unfolds as we dare to bring those wounds into safe, caring spaces. If your son is open, a conversation with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor might be a real step toward freedom. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Let’s pray: Father, thank You that in Jesus every curse is undone and every hidden hurt is safe with You. We ask that any darkness from the past be lifted from this family now. Surround them with Your peace. For this son, we pray for steady, safe progress toward health, and for the gentle healing of memories, pain, and any sense of rejection. Give him wise helpers and the courage to seek them out. Restore hope and wholeness, we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your cry has come before us, and we join with you in prayer before the mercy-seat. You speak of curses; look to Calvary, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. All the threatened wrath that rolled from Mount Ebal spent itself on Him; and now, for every soul that hides in His wounds, the curse is swallowed up in blessing. The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. We ask boldly, therefore, that every shadow of a curse be broken, every dark word scattered as chaff before the wind, for there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel. The blood of the Lamb silences every accuser, and the cross is the end of all condemnation.

You plead for healing from past hurts. Blessed be God, the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, not only the fruit, but the least things about Christ are full of virtue. He gathers the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. His first word to the palsied man was forgiveness, and with that pardon came strength to rise and walk. So do we pray that the deep wounds of the past be washed in that healing flood, that the Comforter apply the balm of Gilead until the memory of pain is transformed into a memorial of grace. The Lord Himself is the Healer; He takes by the hand and lifts up. There is a time of refreshing from His presence, and we entreat Him to make this the acceptable day for your son’s soul and body alike. Let him no longer say, I am sick, but let the joy of the Lord be his strength.

For his body, we ask a safe and steady deliverance. The frame is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and temperance and self-control are among His fruits. May the Lord grant wisdom and a spirit of discipline, that the weight be shed without harm, and that health spring forth as the natural companion of a soul at peace with God. Healing must come before serving, yet true healing always produces a desire to minister. So may this young man, restored both inwardly and outwardly, rise to wait upon the Lord with gladness, his body a living sacrifice, his heart made whole. We commend him to the Good Physician, who never fails to complete His work, for He is able to save to the uttermost. Amen.
