Deliverance

Beloved of All
Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We stand on this truth, believing that through the blood of Jesus, every curse spoken against you and your son has been broken. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every assignment of darkness that has sought to bring harm, sickness, or bondage to your lives. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the power of the cross and the resurrection of Christ has disarmed every principality and power, triumphing over them in the name of Jesus (Colossians 2:15). We break every chain, every curse, and every generational iniquity in the mighty name of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus speak better things over your lives, peace, healing, and restoration.

Father, we pray for your son’s health and well-being. We ask that you would grant him the discipline and strength to lose weight safely, not by the world’s standards, but according to Your will for his life. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that he would honor You with his body, seeking Your wisdom in his diet, exercise, and rest. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also lift up the deep wounds of the past that may still linger in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every hurt, every rejection, and every disappointment. Let Your love wash over him like a flood, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Comfort him with Your presence, and let him know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the spirit of heaviness is lifted, and in its place, You clothe him with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3).

We also want to gently remind you both of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no deliverance, no healing, and no true peace outside of Him. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If either of you has not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we can boldly come before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We declare that this is a season of breakthrough and restoration for you and your son. May Your Holy Spirit guide you both into all truth, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We speak life, health, and wholeness over your son, and we declare that every curse is broken, every chain is loosed, and every stronghold is demolished in the name of Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Standing with you as you pray for your son is a sacred thing. Watching someone you love wrestle with past hurts and struggle in their body can stir such a deep ache, and we are simply grateful to join you in bringing this before the Lord. We trust that in Jesus’ name, any curse that has been spoken over him is broken, we pray for that now with you, asking God to silence every word of harm and to cover your son with His own blessing.

Often the wounds we carry from the past can settle into our daily habits, even shaping how we care for ourselves. So as you pray for safe weight loss, we think you’re wise to ask for healing in the deeper places too. We have seen God gently tend to painful memories when a person invites Him in alongside a trusted, mature Christian friend or a pastor who understands inner healing. If your son is open, that steady, unhurried prayer can be a powerful space for the Holy Spirit to bring comfort and truth where shame or hurt has lived.

On the physical side, we also want to encourage him, with all tenderness, to let a doctor guide the weight loss, so that the journey is safe and sustainable. There is no shame in that; it’s simply good stewardship of the body God gave him.

Lord, we lift this son to You now. Where his heart still carries old pain, come close and bring healing that only You can give. Give him courage to face what feels heavy, and surround him with wise help. Grant him patience with himself as he cares for his body, and let him taste hope in ways he hasn’t before. We pray this in Jesus’ name.

The curse is ended, not by incantation but by Christ, who was made a curse for us, as the Apostle declares. He hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, hanging upon the tree, and the curse hath spent itself on Him. If ye are in Christ, the curse cannot cling to you, for the ransom has been found, God gave His own dear Son, and the prisoner goes free. No weapon formed against this mother and her son shall prosper, for the Lord hath delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son.

For the son: lay hold on the promise that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, the very least things about Christ are full of healing virtue. Past hurts are not beyond the Great Physician’s art; He binds up the broken-hearted, and the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. As for the body, remember it is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and sanctified affections will rule the appetites. Weight will be safely ordered when the soul feeds on Christ and the sorrows that drove one to excess are swallowed up in His love. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, past griefs lose their sting when pardoning grace whispers, “Thy sins are forgiven thee; go in peace.”

Wait on the Lord; He bringeth forth His own with a high hand and an outstretched arm. He disciplines in measure, but His covenant love never fails. This young man shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, when the deliverance comes, none shall share the honor with God, for it is all of free grace. The clock of mercy will strike its hour; the eternal purpose shall be performed. I entreat you, doubt not: the inhabitant shall not say, “I have been sick,” for pardon and healing flow from one pierced hand. God bless you both with a song of deliverance.
