We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before the Lord. Father, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in no other name to break chains, dissolve curses, and bring true deliverance. The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare that every curse spoken, inherited, or sent against ### and her son is broken right now by the blood of Jesus. Every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, every spiritual bondage, we command it to be nullified and rendered powerless in Jesus’ mighty name.
Lord, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn." We speak life, health, and freedom over ###’s son. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to mend the wounds of past hurts, every rejection, every disappointment, every pain that has left a mark on his heart. Heal him, Lord, from the inside out. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up his physical health, Lord. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your design. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and give him discipline rooted in Your love. Remind him that his worth is not found in his appearance but in being fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Help him to see himself through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God, redeemed and set free.
Father, we ask that You draw ### and her son closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and lead them to salvation. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Let them know the power of Your love and the freedom that comes from walking in Your ways.
We declare over this family that the past has no hold on them. The enemy’s plans are frustrated, and Your purposes for them will prevail. We speak restoration, joy, and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every curse and strong in Your grace.

You might simply whisper, “Jesus, I bring You this memory. I open that hurt to You. Please heal what still bleeds and fill that space with Your peace.” You don’t have to have the words; His love knows the wounds better than we do.
As for the curses you mentioned, we stand with you in the complete victory of the cross. In Jesus’ name, every curse is broken, its power drained, and the only word that remains over this son is blessing. So we’re simply going to pray that this reality takes hold in his life and experience right now.
And on the weight loss: we’re praying for wisdom, patience, and a safe path forward, one that honors his body as God’s temple without shame or obsession. If there’s any underlying physical concern, a doctor’s guidance can be a real gift alongside prayer. God often works through both.

You have been living under a shadow, as though some dark word had been spoken over your household and lodged itself in the walls. I can feel the ache of it in your request, a mother’s heart crying out that curses would end, that your son would be loosed from chains you cannot see but have long sensed. And I want you to hear this plainly: whatever curse has been spoken, whatever threat has been hissed against you and your boy, it carries no weight before the throne of grace unless the Almighty Himself endorsed it, and He does not curse His own. The only curse that ever mattered fell upon the shoulders of Christ when He hung upon the tree, and He exhausted it. There is no malediction left to land on a soul sheltered beneath His wounds. When the enemy whispers that you are forsaken, that some ancient sin or word has fixed your son’s plight forever, he is shooting his old arrow, the sharpest in his quiver. But it is a lie wrapped in smoke. God has not abandoned you, and He will not abandon your son.
That does not mean the trouble is unreal. Past hurts have a way of burrowing deep and festering, especially in the young. Your son carries wounds you may only partly know, and they have become weights upon his very frame. But look at this: Christ is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not the healing of the tidy and untroubled, but the healing of those who have been gnawed by old sorrows and brought low by inward struggle. There are leaves on that tree for your boy. There is balm for the memory that still stings, for the shame that burns in the night, for the secret grief that drives him to comfort himself with what harms him. Our Lord Jesus knows how to heal the hidden bruises, the ones no plaster can cover. And He does not merely patch the soul; He makes the weakened places strong. Remember the word: there was not one feeble person among their tribes when He brought them forth. Deliverance from Egypt was not a bare escape, it was an enrichment. They came out with silver and gold. And when Jesus delivers your son from this pit, He will bring him forth with gains: a keener hunger for God, a humility that makes him lovely, a body no longer pressed down by the burden of a wounded spirit.
So pray, dear heart, with your face turned toward the Wells of salvation. Draw water for your son from the promises, and do not let the enemy muzzle your faith. When doubt suggests that things are too far gone, bid that hound of hell be silent, and speak instead what is true: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” That word is for your household too. Your son shall not be consumed by the past or by the enemy’s curses; he shall live, and God shall be glorified in his restoration.
