We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Without this, our prayers lack the authority to stand against the works of darkness.

Now, we stand in the authority of Jesus’ name to break every curse spoken, generational, or self-inflicted against this family. The Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this mother and her son in Jesus’ name. Every word, spell, or hex meant to harm them is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

For the son’s physical healing and weight loss, we pray for God’s wisdom and discipline. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask for self-control to be cultivated in his life. May he honor God with his choices, seeking nourishment for his body and strength for his soul. We pray for safe, sustainable weight loss, not driven by vanity but by a desire to steward his health well. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

For the healing of past hurts, we ask the Holy Spirit to bring deep comfort and restoration. The enemy often uses pain to isolate and wound, but Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray for emotional healing, that every wound would be touched by the balm of Gilead. May he forgive those who have hurt him, releasing bitterness and embracing the peace of Christ. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your love and protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no curse or scheme of darkness can prevail against them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also encourage this mother and son to draw near to God through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy seeks to devour, but those who resist him, steadfast in faith, will see him flee (James 4:7). May they walk in the freedom Christ died to give them, no longer bound by fear or past pain.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son's deliverance and healing. We've been praying in Jesus' mighty name, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

We're claiming this promise for your son, that he may find refuge and healing under the wings of the Almighty. We continue to pray for the breaking of every curse and the healing of past hurts. May the Lord comfort him and fill him with His unfailing love.

We also want to remind you that God is always with you, and He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him, and let's keep praying together, believing for a full and lasting healing in Jesus' name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
