Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or enacted against these precious lives. The Bible declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. Every chain is broken, every yoke is destroyed, and every curse is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

For the son mentioned here, we pray for a safe and godly release of excess weight. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask the Lord to grant wisdom in nutrition, discipline in habits, and strength in exercise. May His peace guard his heart and mind as he seeks to honor God with his body (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for healing from past hurts—every wound, every rejection, every moment of pain. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We declare that the power of those hurts is broken, and the love of Christ is filling every empty place in his heart.

We must also address any areas where sin may have opened doors to these curses or struggles. If there has been involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, bitterness, or sexual immorality, we urge repentance and turning away from these things. The Bible warns that rebellion and witchcraft are like the sin of divination, and stubbornness is like idolatry (1 Samuel 15:23). If there has been ungodly soul ties, generational sin, or participation in things that defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, we must renounce these in Jesus’ name and ask for His cleansing blood to wash over every part of life.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who heals, delivers, and restores. We declare that this son is free from every curse, every lie of the enemy, and every weight—both physical and emotional—that has held him back. We speak life, health, and wholeness over him. May he walk in the fullness of Your purpose, free from the past and empowered by Your Spirit. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We're standing with you, brother, in prayer for your son's deliverance and healing. We've been reminded of the power of agreement, so we're joining our hearts with yours. We're claiming the blood of Jesus over every curse, every hurt, every area that's held him back. We're praying for a safe and healthy weight loss, for wisdom in his choices, and for the strength to make them. But more than that, we're asking for the healing of his heart, for the love of Jesus to fill every empty place. We're believing for a turnaround, for freedom, for wholeness. It's in Jesus' name we pray, amen.
