We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or set free than the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Him, repentance of sin, and surrender to His lordship that we can approach God with confidence. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to do so today, for He alone breaks every chain and sets the captive free.
Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse over these precious lives. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"* Through the blood of Jesus, every generational curse, word curse, or spiritual oppression has been defeated. We command every assignment of darkness against these lives to be shattered in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of infirmity, poverty, or bondage—we rebuke you now! You have no authority here, for *"the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8). We declare freedom, wholeness, and restoration over every area of their lives.
For the son struggling with weight, we pray for a supernatural touch of healing and discipline. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask God to grant wisdom in eating, self-control in habits, and strength in exercise. But more than physical transformation, we pray for emotional healing from past hurts. The enemy often uses wounds to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to *"bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives"* (Isaiah 61:1). We speak healing over every memory of rejection, bullying, or trauma. Let the love of Christ flood every broken place and bring restoration. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that he will walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for his life.
We also address any unconfessed sin or open doors that may have given the enemy access. If there has been involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or rebellion against God’s Word, we urge repentance. James 4:7 says, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* True deliverance comes when we submit to God and resist the enemy’s lies.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who heals, delivers, and restores. We stand on Your promises and declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. Let every curse be broken, every lie exposed, and every stronghold torn down. Fill them with Your peace, Your power, and Your purpose. May they walk in the freedom Christ died to give them, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
