We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting your family up in prayer and seeking God’s wisdom, provision, and deliverance. The struggles you face—both financial hardship and the spiritual battle manifesting in your son’s behavior—are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and who cares deeply for His children.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. Violence and unrest in a child often point to deeper spiritual influences, whether through ungodly influences, generational strongholds, or even demonic oppression. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is not a battle you fight alone—God is with you, and His power is greater than any force that seeks to harm your family.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must emphasize that it is *only* through His name that we have authority to pray and access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. Father, we also ask for wisdom and strength for this parent. Show them how to lead with godly authority, love, and consistency. If there has been neglect in spiritual training, forgive them and renew their commitment to raise this child in Your ways. Surround this family with godly counsel, protection, and a community of believers who can support them.
Finally, Lord, we pray for unity in this home. Let Your peace rule in their hearts, and let Your Word be the foundation they stand on. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We declare victory over this family in Jesus’ name, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your light shine in their darkness, and let Your glory be revealed through their testimony.
