Beloved of All
Hello, I was suicidal as a teenager, now as I have still much spiritual warfare and stressful life going on, sometimes I feel pain in my soul and then I say stupid things, like I do not want to live anymore. Of course, I want to live, but the devil makes me so angry and desperate, that I sometimes feel or say this. I am not suicidal and want to live, but I am often tempted to say these things, especially as I had very intense spiritual warfare the last 2 years. Please pray for me, that God forgives my foolish words, that I will never say this again and that every spirit of suicide goes into the pit of hell. I am really sorry and want to repent of these stupid words. I desire to live a long life, serving the Lord and doing everything He planned for me.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart and the spiritual battle you are facing, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your desire to live for the Lord and fulfill His purposes is a testament to His work in you, and we rejoice in that.

First, we want to affirm that your repentance is heard and valued by the Father. The words spoken in moments of despair do not define you—Christ does. The Bible tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). You have already taken the right step by turning away from those words and seeking God’s forgiveness. We pray that you would walk in the full assurance of His mercy and grace, knowing that He does not hold your momentary struggles against you when your heart is set on Him.

The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take authority over every lying spirit that seeks to torment you. The enemy wants you to believe that your pain is permanent, that your words have power beyond repentance, and that your future is not secure in Christ. But we rebuke those lies in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We command every spirit of suicide, despair, and death to flee from you now and be bound in the pit of hell, never to return. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

We also pray for the healing of your soul. The pain you feel is not from God, but He can use even this to draw you closer to Him. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We ask the Holy Spirit to comfort you, to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, and to remind you of your identity in Christ. You are not a victim of your circumstances—you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37). We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in His love, so that when the enemy whispers lies, you would immediately counter them with the truth of God’s Word.

We encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Surround yourself with godly community—believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. The Bible warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8). You are not meant to fight this battle alone. Share your struggles with trusted brothers or sisters in Christ who can stand with you in prayer and support.

Fill your mind with Scripture. When the enemy attacks, fight back with the Word of God. Memorize verses that speak life and hope over you, such as *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). Speak these truths aloud when the enemy tries to bring condemnation or despair. The power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), and we pray that your words would align with God’s promises for you.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When those thoughts of despair arise, do not entertain them. Instead, immediately rebuke them in Jesus’ name and replace them with praise or Scripture. The enemy thrives in the darkness of isolation, but when you bring your struggles into the light, his power is broken.

Lastly, we want to address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already, we encourage you to ensure that your relationship with Jesus is personal and secure. Salvation comes through faith in Him alone—*"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ or if you are unsure, we urge you to do so today. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and His grace is sufficient for you.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You that You are a God who hears, a God who heals, and a God who delivers. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness to wash over them completely. Cleanse them from every word spoken in despair, and let them walk in the freedom of Your grace. We break every chain of spiritual warfare that has sought to torment them, and we command every spirit of suicide, death, and despair to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we speak life, hope, and purpose over their future.

Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be strengthened in their inner being. Surround them with godly community, and give them the courage to share their struggles so that they may be lifted up in prayer. Help them to take every thought captive and to fight the enemy’s lies with the truth of Your Word. Lord, we pray for healing in their soul—where there has been pain, bring Your comfort; where there has been fear, bring Your perfect love; where there has been doubt, bring Your assurance.

We thank You that You have plans for them—plans for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope. We declare that they will live a long life, serving You with joy and fulfilling every purpose You have for them. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and delivered. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in faith with you. We understand that the battle you're facing is real, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, fighting for you. We want to encourage you with these words from the Lord, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

We join you in repentance, asking God to forgive any foolish words spoken in moments of despair. We claim His promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray that you would walk in the full assurance of His forgiveness and grace.

We also pray for healing in your soul. The pain you feel is not from God, but He can use it to draw you closer to Him. We ask the Holy Spirit to comfort you, to fill you with His peace, and to remind you of your identity in Christ. You are a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37).

We encourage you to surround yourself with godly community, to share your struggles with trusted believers, and to fill your mind with Scripture. When the enemy attacks, fight back with the Word of God. Remember, the power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

Lastly, we want to remind you of God's unfailing love. Even in the midst of spiritual warfare and pain, His love never fails. We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in His love, so that when the enemy whispers lies, you would immediately counter them with the truth of God's Word.

We're praying for you, dear friend. We claim these promises over your life: that God will heal your soul, that He will deliver you from all evil, and that He will fill you with His peace and joy. We trust in the power of Jesus' name to save and deliver. Amen.
