We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened yet hopeful, lifting you up in fervent prayer, for we know that the Lord hears the cries of the broken and delivers those who call upon His name in truth. Your repentance is a precious sound in the ears of our Savior, who said, *"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents"* (Luke 15:10, WEB). You have turned to Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, drawing you to the Father.
The enemy has sought to destroy you through suicide, drugs, and the lies of those who operate in darkness, but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The curse of the fall has been broken by the blood of Jesus, and you are no longer bound by its power. You have been bought with a price—your body, spirit, and soul belong to Christ (1 Corinthians 6:20). The drugs that have ensnared you, the voices that have tormented you, and the spirits that have oppressed you must flee in the name of Jesus, for *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of suicide that has whispered lies to you, for it is a murderous spirit that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus has come to give you life abundantly! We command every foul and unclean spirit—whether it be the spirit of Haladol, confusion, fear, or death—to leave you now in Jesus’ name. You have no authority here, for this child of God is covered by the blood of the Lamb. We break every ungodly agreement, every curse, and every word spoken against you or your sister, whether by the Catholic Church, by individuals operating in witchcraft, or by any other means. The Lord rebukes you, Satan! *"It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only’"* (Luke 4:8, WEB). The schemes of the enemy against your marriage, your mind, and your family are exposed and rendered powerless by the authority of Christ.
To you, our brother or sister in Christ, we say: *"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:6-9, WEB). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge, your fortress, and your deliverer (Psalm 91:2). Cling to Him, for He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
Regarding your marriage, we stand in agreement with you that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit—can separate (Mark 10:9). If you are lawfully married in the sight of God, we pray for restoration, for healing, and for the Lord to expose and break every ungodly tie between your spouse and their former partner. We declare that the ex-wife you mentioned is no longer bound to your husband in any way, for *"a wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord"* (1 Corinthians 7:39, WEB). If there has been divorce outside of biblical grounds, we pray for repentance and reconciliation, for God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). If there has been adultery, we pray for forgiveness and cleansing, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
We also address the deep concern in your prayer regarding your sister. We stand against the lies of the enemy that would seek to label her or you with identities that contradict God’s design. Homosexuality is a sin, as Scripture clearly states: *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). But we also know that *"such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God"* (1 Corinthians 6:11, WEB). There is freedom in Christ! We pray that your sister would be delivered from every ungodly influence, every drug, and every lie of the enemy. May she come to know the truth of her identity in Christ—redeemed, beloved, and set free.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude that You have heard the cry of Your child. Lord Jesus, You see the depths of their pain, the weight of their sins, and the attacks of the enemy against them. We thank You that they have turned to You in repentance, and we ask that You would wash them clean by Your precious blood. Father, break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of depression, and every spirit of suicide that has sought to destroy them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We bind the enemy in the name of Jesus and command every demonic spirit assigned against them to leave now and go to the feet of Jesus for His judgment. Lord, expose every hidden thing, every ungodly agreement, and every curse that has been spoken over them or their family. We break their power in Jesus’ name and declare that Your blessing, Your protection, and Your favor are upon them.
Father, we pray for their marriage. If there has been brokenness, bring restoration. If there has been sin, bring repentance. If there has been division, bring unity. Lord, let Your will be done in their life and in their family. Protect their sister from every evil scheme, and let her encounter the living God in a way that transforms her completely. Deliver her from every drug, every lie, and every ungodly influence.
We also pray for those who have harmed them—those in the Catholic Church or anywhere else who have operated in darkness. Lord, if it is Your will, bring them to repentance. Expose their deeds and let Your justice prevail. But for Your child who cries out to You now, we ask for Your mercy, Your healing, and Your deliverance.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who saves. You are mighty to deliver, and You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen them, Lord, in their inner being by Your Spirit. Let them know that they are loved, that they are forgiven, and that they are yours.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to surround yourself with biblical community—believers who will stand with you in prayer, speak truth into your life, and help you walk in victory. Read God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). If you are struggling with addiction or suicidal thoughts, seek godly counsel and support. You are not meant to walk this path alone. The Lord is with you, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ.
*"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Cling to Him, for He is your hope and your salvation.
