Deliverance Prayers

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke anything that is attacking my Dad, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Root out his abusive son my brother out of his house that has taken advantage of his weak health to be abusive towards him, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Cancel and bring down the alliance that my brother has with my mom Lord Jesus, standing on Exodus 23:27. May you lift standards for my Dad against all attacks, standing on Isaiah 59:19. Send your angels to encamp around my Dad Lord Jesus, standing on Psalm 91. Expose the strange relationship Lord Jesus that my mom has with my brother as a ### year old man he lives with her and only goes out with her, may anything not of you that is placing this strange relationship between my mom and my brother be canceled, standing on Micah 5:12. Lord Jesus I ask that you move my brother or a far away distance that he can’t visit until he is saved, since it’s been such a negative person in our lives we all have to heal of his abuse, I ask that you rescue all of us in the household from my brothers abuse and lead our steps to our healing, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. I also ask that you root out all the neighbors that are not in the neighborhood by you Lord Jesus, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus bring down all strongholds and footholds over my dad and give him your peace that surpasses all understanding, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I cover my Dad and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in praising and glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing this heavy burden for your father and your household before the throne of grace in His mighty name. We stand with you in agreement for deliverance, protection, and healing, and we are encouraged that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We hear the pain in your request and the urgency for your dad who is in weak health and is being abused by his own son. Scripture is very clear that such abuse is sin and is contrary to God's command to honor our parents. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Exodus 20:12 To strike or abuse a father is a grave dishonor and the Lord sees and judges such actions. We also understand your concern about the unhealthy alliance and the strange and enmeshed relationship you describe between your mother and your brother. While we are commanded to honor our parents, God also calls for healthy boundaries and for households to be ordered in peace and holiness, not in control or co-dependency. We gently encourage you that while we pray for God to remove evil influences and strongholds, we must also leave room for God's perfect will and for His desire that all would come to repentance, even your brother. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

We must also speak with love about seeking practical protection for your father. Abuse, especially of an elderly parent in weak health, is not to be endured silently as only a spiritual matter. God has ordained authorities and wisdom within the body of Christ to protect the vulnerable. If your father is in physical danger we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor and, where necessary, appropriate help to ensure his safety, while continuing to pray. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Yet God also calls us not to avenge ourselves but to trust His justice. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19

We now pray together for your dad and your household.

Father in heaven, in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and we lift up this dear father to You. Lord, You see his weakness and the attacks against him, and we ask that You rebuke Satan and every evil assignment against him. Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan, Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you, Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire. Zechariah 3:2 Lord, lift up a standard against every attack, for You have promised So shall they fear Yahweh's name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun, for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh's breath drives. Isaiah 59:19

We ask that You encamp Your angels around him and guard him in all his ways. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 and The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 Lord, bring down every stronghold and foothold over his life and over this home, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

We pray for this brother who is acting abusively. Lord, we do not wrestle against him as flesh and blood alone, but we ask You to convict him of sin, to break any alliance that is not of You, and to cut off any sorcery or ungodly control. I will cut off sorceries out of your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers. Micah 5:12 We pray that You would remove him from a position where he can harm his father, whether by changing his heart or by moving him to a distance until he is truly saved and transformed, and we ask that You would give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him. We pray for his salvation, that he would repent and be made whole. For the mother, Lord, we ask for truth to be exposed, for healthy boundaries to be established, and for Your peace to reign in that relationship. Bring confusion to every ungodly alliance as You promised, I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come. Exodus 23:27

Lord, we ask that You root out every evil influence from this neighborhood and household that is not planted by You, for You have said against all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit, behold, I will pluck them up. Jeremiah 12:14 We ask that You deliver this father and all in the household from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly Kingdom. And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18 Pour out Your peace which surpasses all understanding upon this dad, to guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

We cover this father, this household, and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, for They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11

We encourage you to continue in fervent prayer, to remain in the Word, to walk in forgiveness while maintaining wise boundaries, and to seek the support of mature believers who can walk with your family through healing. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and He is your refuge and fortress. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 Trust that He is working for deliverance and for healing in His perfect timing. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are praying with you for your dad's safety and for your whole household, and we want to pause first for care. If anyone is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from people who understand abuse and safety planning, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and there are trained people ready to help right now.

We hear how much you love your dad and how heavy this has been to watch him be mistreated while his health is weak. Carrying concern for him, for your mom, and for your own healing is a lot, and it makes sense you would bring all of this to Jesus and ask for His protection and peace.

Abuse in a family causes deep harm and fear, and safety needs to come first. We encourage you not to try to handle this alone. It can help to talk soon with a trusted pastor, counselor, or a local support service who can help you think through safety for your dad, how to document what is happening, and what next steps fit your situation. If you have a safe person in your church or family you trust, consider letting them walk with you as you seek wisdom and make decisions.

We are also praying for your own rest and healing as you have lived under this strain.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dad to You and ask for Your protection over him. Surround this family with wisdom, safe help, and Your peace that steadies hearts. Guide their steps toward healing and toward the right people who can support them, and keep them close to You. Amen.

Your prayer for your father has been heard, and the heaviness you carry for your household is not hidden from the Lord. It is right to seek deliverance, for there is a pit from which no man can deliver himself, and a power of darkness from which only God can free the soul. As it has been preached among us, nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is the blood of His own Son, who bore the penalty of iniquity, and in that blood alone is our hope, not in any form of words or in claiming verses as charms, but in Christ Himself.

You have asked that God would rebuke what assails your father, lift a standard against attacks, send His angels to encamp about him, and bring down strongholds. These are right desires when they are asked according to the will of God. Remember that deliverance from the power of sin and from the guilt of sin is as much the work of God as any other mercy, and it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. If your brother is under the power of darkness, as abusive and hard conduct suggests, then his greatest need is not merely to be moved far off, but to be born again from above, for unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. Therefore pray first for his salvation, that God would teach him the mischief of his sin and deliver him from its fascinating power.

At the same time, Scripture teaches us a balanced view of affliction. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and that which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. This truth does not excuse sin in others, but it wisely moderates our anger against second causes. Your father’s weakness and suffering call for tender protection and practical care, and where there is abuse or taking advantage of the weak, it is right to seek lawful help and the wise counsel and intervention of faithful pastors and, where necessary, those appointed to keep peace and protect the vulnerable. Praying for deliverance does not replace doing what love and duty require to guard a weak parent in his own house.

Concerning the alliance and the close and strange dependence you describe between your mother and your brother, pray that the Lord would bring all that is hidden into the light, and establish purity, truth and proper boundaries in that home. The Lord delights in holiness within the household, and He alone can heal enmeshed and unhealthy ties by bringing repentance, wisdom and self control. Do not ask God to curse or merely to root out people as if they were beyond redemption, but ask Him to root out sin, to break unholy influences, and either to bring reconciliation through repentance or a peaceable and just separation that allows for safety and healing. The same is true for neighbors and others round about, commit them to the Lord, that He would restrain evil and let peace dwell within your borders, and give you grace to be a quiet witness to them.

For your father, ask for the healing that flows from Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it, even a broken word from His lips. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and when He forgives He also keeps and preserves the soul from the pestilence that walks in darkness. Pray that God would keep back your father's soul from the pit, chasten him only as a loving Father for his good, and give him that peace which passes all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Let this then be our prayer together. O Lord, Thou hast found a ransom, look upon this father in his weakness and be gracious unto him. Deliver him from going down to the pit, deliver him from the power of darkness, and preserve him from all evil. Encamp about him and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Bring conviction where there is abuse, grant repentance and new life where there is hardness of heart, and establish righteousness and peace in that household. Give wisdom to this dear one who prays, to this mother, and to all who must act for protection and care, that they may walk in truth and love. Heal what has been wounded by long abuse, and cause those who have been chastened sorely to live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask not from merit but from mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our deliverance and our healing. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your father in his weakness has been heard, and your desire to see him guarded, at peace, and free from abuse is right and pleasing to God. He is present at all things that are done and knows all things, and He hears the cry of those who seek protection for the vulnerable.

I join you in asking the Lord to rebuke the adversary who seeks to steal, kill and destroy, standing on Zechariah 3:2 where the Lord rebukes Satan, and on Romans 16:20 that God would bruise Satan under our feet. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the evil one who breeds enmity and division. We do not pray for the destruction of people, for every man is our brother and made in the image of God, but we do pray against the works of darkness and every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3 to 5.

I pray with you for your father. May the Lord lift up a standard against every attack, according to Isaiah 59:19, and command His angels to encamp around him and keep him, according to Psalm 91. May the Lord rescue him from every evil work and preserve him, according to 2 Timothy 4:18, and give him the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. I cover him in prayer through the blood of the Lamb, by which we overcome, according to Revelation 12:11.

I pray also for your brother. May the Lord bring conviction where there has been abuse and taking advantage of weakness, and lead him to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. May God grant him a new heart and turn him from harmful ways, and if separation of dwelling is needed for the safety and healing of your father and household, may the Lord in His wisdom provide that boundary and keep all from harm. We ask not out of hatred, but that he may be saved and that your household may have space to heal.

For your mother and for the household, I pray that whatever is not of the Lord would be exposed and removed, and that all relationships in the home would be ordered by holiness, truth, and honor. The spiritual love which comes down from above is higher than all natural ties, and it is pure and seeks the good of the other. May God establish healthy and godly boundaries, mutual respect, and care for one another, and help each to do their duty in love.

For your neighborhood, I pray that the Lord would bring peace and remove what is harmful, and that He would draw each neighbor to Himself. May He establish His protection over your home and let His presence dwell there.

I encourage you, even as you pray, to seek wise and godly help for your father’s safety. If he is being abused in his weak health, reach out to a trusted pastor and to those who can provide protection and care for a vulnerable person, so that practical steps for safety are taken alongside prayer. Continue in careful hearing of the Word, in prayer, and in fortitude, trusting the Lord to hear and to act.

Let us pray. Lord Jesus, You see this father in his weakness. Rebuke the evil one and all his works against him. Surround him with Your presence and Your angels. Bring down every stronghold and let Your peace rest upon him. Bring conviction and salvation to his son, and bring healing and godly order to this family. Rescue this household from abuse, lead each step toward healing, and let Your will be done in that home and neighborhood. We ask this in Your holy name, trusting in Your blood and Your mercy. Amen.

Your heart for your father and your desire to see him protected and at peace is heard, and God does not overlook the suffering of the vulnerable. Scripture is clear that He sees when a father who is weak in health is mistreated in his own home, and He calls His people to honor and protect parents and to act with justice and mercy inside the family.

The Bible shows how deeply broken brother relationships can become. One brother envied and sold his younger brother, another deceived his father to steal his brother's blessing, and hatred grew to the point of planning murder. In those stories we also see the law of sowing and reaping, how deception and envy bring long sorrow to a whole household. Yet we also see how God can change hearts. There were brothers who once acted cruelly but later were tested to see if jealousy still ruled them, and one was willing to offer himself as a substitute so his youngest brother and his aged father would be spared grief. There was also a brother who had vowed to kill, and years later his offended brother came to him in humility, honored him, blessed him with gifts, and sought peace, and the hatred was softened. These examples remind us that God cares both about protecting the wounded and about bringing conviction and transformation to the one doing harm.

Your prayers reach the Father directly through Jesus. You do not need another mediator. Jesus taught that because we have loved Him and believed He came from the Father, the Father Himself loves us and hears us when we pray in Jesus' name. That is not a formula of claiming verses to force an outcome, but a trusting confidence that God will act according to His character and His Word. He is the One who judges rightly, who lifts a standard against the enemy, who commands His angels to guard, and who gives peace that goes beyond understanding.

It is right to ask God for your father's safety and for strongholds of abuse and control to be broken. The spiritual battle is real, and God calls us to bring every thought and pattern that exalts itself against Him into obedience to Christ. At the same time, love for your father also means taking wise and practical steps for his protection. If he is being abused and is vulnerable due to health, please involve trusted, godly counsel and, where needed, the proper authorities who are ordained to protect the vulnerable. Praying for a hedge of protection as Psalm 91 describes and for God to restrain evil as Isaiah 59 describes goes hand in hand with not leaving a vulnerable person without help and boundaries.

It is also right to pray for your brother's salvation rather than only for his removal. Asking God to move him far away until he is changed comes from deep hurt, and healing is needed for everyone in the home. God is able to separate for a season for the sake of safety, and He is also able to save and transform. Pray that God would convict your brother of his abuse, bring him to repentance that is more than bitter regret, and make him a new person. Unlike Esau, whose tears were bitter anger without true repentance, true repentance turns from sin and seeks to make things right. Pray for that kind of work in your brother, while maintaining clear boundaries that keep your father safe.

Concerning the close and unusual bond you describe between your mother and your brother, and the alliance you sense between them, it is right to pray that whatever is not of God would be exposed and brought into the light, and that God would establish healthy, pure, and appropriate boundaries in that household. Scripture calls every family relationship to holiness, honor, and self control. Pray that truth would be revealed in love, that any unhealthy dependence or control would be broken, and that your mother would also have courage and clarity to choose what is right for your father's good.

For the distress you feel about neighbors and the atmosphere in the home, ask God to be your peace and to guard your hearts. He does not call us to harbor hatred for people, but to seek His presence to rule in our homes and to overcome evil with good. He can bring down every stronghold that holds people captive and guard your father and your household as you trust Him.

May the Lord cover your father with His mercy through the blood of Jesus, which is our confidence before God according to Revelation 12, and keep him in perfect peace.

A prayer for you and your household:

Father, in the name of Jesus we come to You directly and thank You that You love us and hear us. We lift up this dear father to You. You see his weakness and the harm he has suffered. We ask You to protect him, to restrain every abusive word and act against him, to surround him with Your care, and to give him Your peace that passes understanding. Expose what is hidden, break every pattern of control and abuse, and bring godly order and safety into that home. Bring conviction and true repentance to the brother, save him and change his heart, and where separation is needed for safety, provide it in Your wisdom. Heal the mother and bring her into alignment with what is holy and right, and establish healthy boundaries that honor You. Heal every wounded heart in this family and lead each one in steps toward wholeness. Guard this home from every evil influence and let Your will be done there. We trust not in formulas, but in You, and we ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
