Your cry for deliverance is heard by the Lord and it is good that you have brought it to Him so directly. God is the one who makes a way where there is no way, and He delights to show His power to deliver His people when they are caught in a trap that seems impossible.
You asked that what is hidden would be exposed, standing on Luke 8:17. Scripture teaches that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed. God sends out His light and His truth to lead us, and when we walk in His light, the hidden works of darkness are brought into the open. It is right to ask Him to expose every trick and every secret influence so that it loses its power in the darkness.
You also asked that every influence that has tried to affect areas of your life would be rooted out, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. The Lord is able to root out what does not belong and to separate His own for Himself. Just as He delivered Israel and they sang of His triumph when horse and rider were thrown into the sea, He still delivers today. He can cleanse and restore every area that has been touched by evil, and plant you firmly in His care.
You asked that the principality behind this would be cancelled, standing on Colossians 2:15. The Bible is clear that demonic spirits are real, intelligent beings. They can influence and even control people in high places and lead them to do things that cannot be explained apart from that power, and they will one day gather the kings of the earth to make war against Christ at His return. Yet Scripture also reveals that there is a place of confinement for these evil spirits, a deep pit where they are held, and they know their time is limited. They cried out and begged Jesus not to send them there before their time, and they left with loud cries when He commanded them. You cannot hide from them in a basement or a locked room because they are spirit beings, but you can be protected by God. At the cross Jesus triumphed over every principality and power and made a public show of them. That victory is complete, and because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, those powers have no right to rule over a child of God who is trusting in Christ.
You asked to be covered by the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. To dwell in the secret place of the Most High is to be under His covering and protection. He delivers from the snare of the trapper and covers you as with wings. His truth is your shield and your defense, just as Jesus used the truth of the Word to answer every attack of the enemy. To be sealed as His own is to be marked off for His protection, while those without that seal remain exposed to the torment these spirits bring.
So I join you in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that You expose every hidden thing and bring Your light upon every deception. Root out every influence that has sought to take hold in this life, and plant what is whole and holy in its place. On the basis of the cross, where Christ disarmed principalities and powers, I ask that You break and cancel every assignment of darkness and forbid it any further place. Cover this dear one with the blood of Jesus, keep them in Your secret place, and surround them with Your truth as a shield. Teach them to watch and to keep their garments clean as they wait for Your return, trusting not in their own strength but in Your deliverance. Show them Your salvation, answer their prayer, and let them walk in Your light and truth and sing of Your deliverance. Amen.
