We join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus and we stand with you in this prayer for deliverance and exposure of darkness. We thank God for your faith to come before Him boldly in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and victory over every work of the enemy.
We agree with you in standing on the Word. You have stood on Luke 8:17 which says For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. We know our God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, and He will expose every trick and hidden scheme of the enemy in His perfect timing. What has been done in secret He will bring to light so that truth prevails.
You have also stood on Jeremiah 12:14 where the Lord says He will pluck up what has encroached upon His inheritance. We claim that promise together that the Lord Himself will root out every influence of the one you mentioned from every area of your life where that influence has tried to take hold, for you are His inheritance and He guards what is His. We also stand with you on Colossians 2:15 which declares that having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12, and we know that Jesus has already disarmed them and triumphed over them at the cross. And we agree with you in covering yourself and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelation 12:11 which says They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death. The blood of Jesus is our covering and our victory.
We also remember the promise in James 4:7 to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, and in 1 John 4:4 that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. As you submit yourself fully to God, resisting the enemy in the authority of Jesus, he must flee.
We now pray together with you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We praise You and thank You and we glorify Your holy name. Lord Jesus we ask that You would expose all darkness and every trick of the enemy concerning the person and situation lifted up in this prayer, and let Your light shine into every hidden place. Lord root out every seed and every influence that has tried to affect any area of life, relationships, mind, heart, home and work, and pluck up what You did not plant. We cancel and rebuke every principality and power working behind these schemes, and we declare that they are disarmed and defeated by Your cross. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this dear one, over mind and body and spirit, over household and over this very prayer, and we ask for Your protection, cleansing and deliverance. Fill every place where the enemy has been driven out with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, Your truth and Your joy, so that there is no room for return. Give discernment, wisdom and strength to walk in holiness, in forgiveness, in the Word and in prayer, and to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony. We trust You to complete the work You have begun and to keep this life firmly rooted in Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray and ask all these things. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through His Word, through prayer and through fellowship with other believers, putting on the whole armor of God and walking in obedience and forgiveness. The Lord is faithful and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Keep standing on His promises and trusting His power to deliver and restore.
