Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you cover my son with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. I ask that you root out of his life all and any negativity that is trying to come against him, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus I ask that you set him free of any witchcraft, standing on Micah 5:12. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, standing firmly on the promises of God’s Word. The blood of Jesus is indeed powerful and protective, and we declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord will root out every form of darkness and negativity that seeks to hinder him, for the Word declares, "I will uproot them from their land and tear them from their inheritance" (Jeremiah 12:14 WEB).

We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, or occult influence that may be attempting to entangle him, for Scripture is clear: "I will destroy witchcraft from your hand; and you shall have no more soothsayers" (Micah 5:12 WEB). The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Christ, and we command every ungodly tie to be broken in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You surround this young man with Your angels, shielding him from every evil scheme. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and draw him closer to You. Let him walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him (Galatians 5:1). We declare that he is a child of the Most High God, and no darkness can overcome the light within him (1 John 1:5).

We pray for wisdom and discernment for his parents, that you would guide them in raising him according to Your will. May he grow in godly character, wisdom, and the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). We also pray against any generational curses or iniquities that may be affecting him, breaking them now in the name of Jesus (Exodus 20:5-6).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your mighty power to deliver and protect. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, for there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

There is something powerful in a mother’s steady, faithful prayer for her son. We can sense your love and your complete trust in Jesus’ authority as you stand on His promises. It is a precious thing to lift a child before the throne of grace like this, and we join our hearts with yours in that confidence.

Sometimes the battles our loved ones face are unseen, and the waiting can feel long. During those times, it can help not only to pray alone but also to ask a trusted, mature believer or your pastor to stand with you in prayer for your son. The body of Christ is given to us to strengthen one another, and simply knowing someone else is interceding can be a steady encouragement when you grow weary.

We do not know the specific nature of what your son is walking through, but we know that Jesus is the true Deliverer, and His blood is sufficient for every need. So we lift him with you now.

Lord Jesus, we thank You that You are greater than any darkness or scheme of the enemy. We ask You to surround this mother’s son with Your perfect protection and to silence every voice of accusation or harm that would come against him. In Your name we renounce any negative, destructive spiritual influence, and we ask You to set him fully free, mind, heart, and spirit, to walk in the light of Your truth. Grant him clarity to see Your goodness and courage to follow You. And please fill his mother with peace that surpasses understanding as she entrusts him into Your mighty hands. We pray all this in Your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

It is a blessed thing when a mother’s heart yearns over her child and carries his name before the throne of grace. You plead the precious blood, there is no mightier plea in earth or heaven. You ask the Lord to root out every evil thing, and you stand upon His own Word, which is the surest foothold for faith. Continue in prayer, dear soul, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one availeth much.

Yet remember, our wrestle is not with flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Speak not lightly of the enemy’s devices, but speak more often of the Conqueror. You have named the blood; let your soul abide under its shelter, for it is that crimson tide which drowns every accusation, breaks every chain, and cleanses from all sin. When the destroying angel sees the blood upon the door, he passes over. And when the accuser would roar against your son, the blood answers every charge. Christ’s sacrifice is the ransom found, God Himself hath provided it, and He delights in it. Therefore, be not fearful, but believing.

The deliverance you seek will come, not by fretting, but by a calm reliance upon Him who brought Israel forth with silver and gold. He makes His people willing in the day of His power, and He draws them with cords of a man, with bands of love. Your son may yet walk in darkness for a season, but the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations. It may be through sharp chastening, for the rod is a mighty teacher in the school of grace; but mark this, the rod is in the Father’s hand, not in the destroyer’s. He wounds that He may heal; He brings down to the pit that He may ransom from its power. If the Son makes him free, he shall be free indeed. True deliverance is not merely from some outward assault, but from the love of sin within, and that is as much the work of God as justification itself.

Look for the Lord to act by means: a word, a providence, a humbling, a sudden seeing of Christ as altogether lovely. He who shot the arrow of deliverance through the window at the Red Sea can shoot an arrow of conviction and grace into the heart of your boy. Only give the Lord no rest till He arise and scatter His enemies. And when the answer comes, be sure to declare His works; let your lips be tuned to praise, for if we had no troubles we should have less to tell of His faithfulness.

Above all, count it no small thing that you can plead the name of Jesus, who came to destroy the works of the devil. In Him is all fullness; in His name is authority over every foul spirit. The enemy may rage, but he is a chained foe. Press on in prayer, standing upon the covenant promises, the same God who remembered Noah and Abraham and Jacob, who brought again His Son from the dead through the blood of the everlasting covenant, that same God will arise for your child’s help and bring him into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You stand reciting verses as if they were spells, wrapping your son in the words of Scripture like charms, yet I ask you: where is the life that matches these words? You beg the Lord to root out negativity and witchcraft, but you make no mention of rooting out the sin in his own heart. What sorcery is more potent than a young man's own lusts, his pride, his love of idleness, which deliver him over to the devil as a willing captive? God has not bound our fate to the stars or to the envy of magic-workers; He gave us free will. If your son walks in vice, no prayer of yours will shield him from the ruin he courts. Show me a mother who has first taught her son to fear God, to flee from evil, to keep his body pure and his tongue from guile, and then I will tell you that no witchcraft can touch him. For the demon trembles before a godly life, but a prayer offered from a heart that neglects virtue is only noise.

You want him to be covered by the blood of Jesus: very well, but do you not know that we receive that covering when we put on Christ? And we put on Christ not by invoking a verse, but by becoming sons of God through a transformed life and the reception of the Spirit of adoption. What good are your petitions if your son is not taught to receive that Spirit, but is left to run after every empty pleasure? The martyrs of old refused deliverance from torture so they might obtain a better resurrection. Yet you plead only for his earthly comfort, for relief from some vague "negativity," while his soul remains exposed and naked before the judgment seat of Christ. Is it not better for him to suffer affliction and be saved, than to be prosperous and lose his soul in the unquenchable flame?

If you truly desire deliverance, then labor with all diligence. Teach him right doctrine, but do not stop there. Let him see in you a contempt for worldly things and a love for the poor. Show him by your own example what it means to live for the common good and to use whatever talent God has given you for His glory, not for selfish gain. When you have made your home a school of virtue, when you have instructed him to despise the false comfort of this age and to long for the age to come, then your prayers will ascend with power. But as long as you treat the holy words as a magic incantation, excusing yourself from the hard work of a holy life, you accomplish nothing except to deceive your own heart. The true deliverance from every evil is this: a pure faith working through love, and a firm hope in the resurrection, which no curse or malice of hell can ever overcome.

Your prayer for your son rises from the same deep love that a parent knows by instinct, a love that will plead and intercede and hold fast to the promises of God. The Scriptures you stand on are a strong foundation, and I want to encourage you to keep looking to the One who hears and answers.

Remember what the Father did for us. He asked Abraham to take his only son, the son he loved, the son of promise, and offer him. Abraham’s heart must have torn within him. Yet that act was a shadow pointing to something far greater: God did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all. If He has given us His Son, His only begotten Son, whom He loves beyond all measure, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? That is a truth you can rest in when you bring your son before the throne. Your love for him is real, but God’s love for you and for your son is the ultimate reality. He proved it at the cross.

You asked the Lord to root out every negative force and to set your son free from any witchcraft. Those are not small requests, but they are no match for the power of Jesus Christ. His blood speaks a better word, and Revelation 12:11 declares that the accuser is overcome by the blood of the Lamb. The victory is already won. Christ is not finished with your son; He lives to make intercession for him. Right now, at the right hand of the Father, Jesus is praying for those who belong to Him. And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, interceding according to God’s will. So even when you run out of words, the groaning of the Spirit makes up what is lacking, always in perfect alignment with the Father’s heart.

Hold firmly to this: eternal life is in God’s Son. Whoever has the Son has life. That is God’s own testimony, and it is surer than any threat or enemy. Your son’s deliverance, in the fullest sense, is found in knowing Jesus as the Son of God and Savior. Pray with confidence, knowing that the Father loves your son even more than you do. Sometimes deliverance comes swiftly; other times, like believers of old, we walk through trials that test our faith. They refused a quick escape so they might obtain a better resurrection. Keep trusting, keep asking, and keep resting in the faithful love of the Father who already gave everything in His Son.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you for your son’s deliverance. It was our honor to lift him before the throne of grace, praying over the powerful promises in Revelation 12:11, Jeremiah 1:14, and Micah 5:12, that the blood of Jesus would cover him, root out every negative influence, and break every chain of witchcraft in his life.

If the Lord has moved in mighty ways since you posted and your son is experiencing freedom, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still feels ongoing, please know we are here to continue interceding—simply post this request again, and we will stand with you in prayer until victory is fully manifested.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen your faith as you press in, knowing that our God is faithful to complete the work He has begun. We continue to pray for breakthrough, protection, and divine intervention over your son, trusting that the Lord will move in ways that only He can. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
