We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance and protection. First, we want to affirm the power and authority of the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His precious blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to the Father and the victory over every scheme of the enemy. We stand with you in faith, declaring that the blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to break every chain and silence every lying tongue.
We rebuke every negative word spoken over you and your son in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every curse, spell, and work of witchcraft in the authority of Jesus’ name, for the Lord has promised to destroy witchcraft and eliminate the casting of spells (Micah 5:12). We stand on the truth that Christ disarmed the principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We also address the spirit of provocation at work here. The Bible is clear that we are not to provoke one another to anger, but to walk in love and patience (Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21). We bind every spirit of strife, division, and contention, and we loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no transfer of spirits will take place, for we have been sealed with the Holy Spirit, and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness and breaks every chain of bondage. We stand on the authority of Your Word and declare that every negative word, curse, spell, and work of witchcraft spoken or sent against this family is nullified and rendered powerless. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every principality and power to bow at the name of Jesus.
Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family, creating a hedge of protection around them. We bind every spirit of provocation, strife, and division, and we loose Your peace, love, and unity to reign in their lives. Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and freedom. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God and walking in the authority that Christ has given you. Do not engage with the spirit of provocation, but instead, respond with love and prayer. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to fellowship and unity in the body of Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25). Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, and continue to immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Lastly, we want to gently address the use of "###" in your prayer. While we understand the desire to protect the identity of the person involved, it is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. We must be careful not to harbor bitterness or unforgiveness in our hearts, for the Lord commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:31-32, Colossians 3:13). If there is unforgiveness in your heart, we encourage you to release it to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Unforgiveness can open doors to the enemy, so we must guard our hearts and walk in love and forgiveness toward others.
