We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of fraud and deceit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are cleansed and made righteous. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand firm on the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Father God, we stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring Your sovereignty over every principality, power, and spirit of deception. We rebuke the works of darkness operating through this individual, as You have already disarmed and triumphed over them through the cross. "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:15). We command every lying spirit, spirit of fraud, and every demonic influence to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. Let the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than that of Abel, cover every victim and cleanse them from the stain of this deception (Hebrews 12:24).
Lord, we stand on Zechariah 3:2, declaring that You rebuke the accuser and rescue those who have been ensnared. We ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness, for "there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17). Let the light of Your truth shine into every corner where deceit has taken root, and let justice prevail according to Your righteousness.
We pray for the victims of this fraud, that You would restore them fully. "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be theirs" (Isaiah 61:7). Father, we ask that You compensate them for their losses, not just materially but spiritually and emotionally. Let them experience the freedom that comes from knowing You, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Break every chain of bondage, and let them walk in the liberty of Your Spirit.
We also pray for the one who has committed these acts. Lord, we ask that You convict their heart of sin and lead them to genuine repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). If there is hardness of heart, soften it, O God. If there is pride, humble it. If there is deception, reveal the truth. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their sin, seeking Your forgiveness and restoration.
Father, we ask that restitution be made where possible. Let Your justice prevail, not as the world sees it, but as You declare it. "The wicked borrows and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous deals graciously and gives" (Psalm 37:21). We trust in Your provision for those who have been wronged and pray that You would move in ways that bring glory to Your name.
We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that it is by His sacrifice alone that we have victory. "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death" (Revelation 12:11). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You surround the victims with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). For those who do not yet know You, reveal Yourself to them in a personal and powerful way, that they may come to salvation and experience the fullness of life in Christ.
We declare that this matter is in Your hands, O God. You are the righteous Judge, and we trust in Your perfect justice and mercy. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
