However, we take heart in knowing that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). The man you describe, and any principality operating through him, is no match for the King of Kings.
