We stand with you in agreement, lifting your plea for deliverance before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve cited are powerful declarations of the freedom we have in Christ, and we affirm them with you. John 8:36 declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This is not just a promise—it is a reality for those who are in Christ. The enemy has no authority over a child of God who stands firm in the finished work of the cross, but we must actively resist his schemes by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome *"by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony."* The blood of Jesus is our protection, our covering, and our victory. When we plead the blood of Christ over our lives, we are invoking the power that defeated sin, death, and the devil. We must also remember that our testimony—our confession of faith—is a weapon against the lies of the enemy. Do not underestimate the power of speaking God’s truth over your life, especially when the enemy tries to whisper condemnation or fear.
In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we are reminded that though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. This means actively rejecting lies, renouncing any agreements you may have unknowingly made with the enemy, and filling your mind with the truth of God’s Word. Strongholds are broken not by our strength but by the authority of Jesus’ name and the truth of His Word.
We also want to encourage you to examine your life for any areas where the enemy may have gained access. Have you held onto bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin that needs to be confessed and repented of? Ephesians 4:27 warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil."* Even small footholds—unconfessed sin, ungodly soul ties, or involvement in occult practices (even unknowingly)—can give the enemy legal ground to torment. If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s holiness, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and breaks every chain. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body, and their spirit. We break every chain, every stronghold, and every foothold the enemy has tried to establish in their life. We cancel every assignment of the devil against them, and we command every spirit of torment, fear, oppression, and deception to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, flooding every area of their life with Your light and truth. Where the enemy has sown lies, we ask that You replace them with Your Word. Where there has been bondage, we declare freedom. Where there has been fear, we declare Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We ask that You heal any wounds, restore any broken areas, and strengthen their faith to stand firm in the victory You have already won.
Lord, we also ask that You reveal to them any areas where the enemy may have gained access. Give them the courage to repent, renounce, and turn away from anything that does not align with Your holiness. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore them fully to Your purposes. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the freedom we have in Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is free indeed, and we stand with them in faith, believing for Your deliverance and protection. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in this truth. Walk in the freedom Christ has given you, and do not allow the enemy to intimidate you. Fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with godly fellowship, and continue to plead the blood of Jesus over your life daily. The enemy may try to return, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. Stand firm, and do not give up ground to the enemy. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
