Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the cross and for the holy Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe, and we agree with you in prayer for this man who rented his flat to you, for we know that when we agree together the Lord hears us as He has promised in Matt 18:19.

We are encouraged by your intercession and your desire to see him delivered and restored to the narrow path. The Lord knows the plans He has for him and His thoughts are far higher than ours as it is written in Isa 55:8-9, and His will is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance in 2 Pet 3:9. We share your burden that he has adopted a false identity through sinful relationships and activities and has followed his own desires instead of the way of holiness. Scripture is clear that our true identity is found only in Christ, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old things have passed away, behold all things have become new in 2 Cor 5:17. Any identity built on sin, whether it be fornication which is sex outside of marriage, adultery, or homosexuality which is intimacy with the same sex, is not from God and must be repented of, for the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God in 1 Cor 6:9-10. We gently rebuke those sinful relationships and activities for they do not align with biblical principles, and God calls us to flee sexual immorality in 1 Cor 6:18 and to enter by the narrow gate, for narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life in Matt 7:13-14.

We also hear your concern that he is under ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he is controlled and even blackmailed and may be in danger, and involved with an evil woman in his life. We are to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them in Eph 5:11 and not be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Cor 6:14. To depart from evil is wisdom, for the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom in Prov 9:10, and we are to fear His holy name and turn away from evil in Prov 3:7. We pray that the Lord will separate him from every controlling and destructive influence and give him eyes to see the depth of God's love contrasted with the hatefulness and bondage of those sinful ties. Where there is control, manipulation and danger, we also encourage practical wisdom and protection, seeking godly counsel and help from trusted pastors and where necessary appropriate authorities, while trusting the Lord as our refuge in Ps 91:1-2.

We love your prayer for a softened heart, for God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh in Ezek 36:26. Only Jesus can make us free, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed in John 8:36. That freedom comes as we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us in James 4:7, and confess our sins, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9.

So we pray together now. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. We lift this man to You, Your child whom You love and for whom You have a holy plan. Lord, open his eyes to the unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ and reveal the false identity he has taken on through sin. Break his stony heart, soften it by Your Spirit, and give him courage to leave the broad way and walk the narrow path that leads to life. Give him understanding to fear Your holy name, to depart from evil and from the evil woman and every ungodly influence that entangles him, even those in his own household. Separate him from those who control and blackmail him, protect his life from danger, and surround him with godly counsel and true fellowship. Let him know the depth of Your love and the forgiveness that is in Jesus alone, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. Draw him to repentance, cleanse him, restore him, and lead him into a life of holiness and, in Your timing, into a godly marriage as You designed between a man and a woman if it is Your will for him, that his life may honor You. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer for this man. The way you still carry him before the Lord after your tenancy has ended shows real care, wanting not only safety for him but for him to know who he is in Christ and to walk in freedom.

We hear how heavy it is to watch someone be pulled by influences that control and isolate him, and to sense that his life may even be in danger while you can only pray from a distance. That distance is painful, but staying in a posture of steady prayer is the right place to stand. You cannot soften his heart for him or make decisions for him, only God can do that work as you have asked, giving him eyes to see clearly and courage to step away from what harms him.

When identity gets built on shifting relationships or desires, a person is easily shaken and vulnerable to being controlled. Coming to rest in who he is in Christ gives a steadier place to stand when everything else feels unstable, and God cares far more about forming his character than about outward pressures.

If you do have occasional contact, keeping it calm, respectful and boundaried is a kindness to you both and leaves room for God to work. If he ever shares that he feels unsafe, gently encourage him toward a trusted pastor or other safe support near him, and continue to entrust him to the Lord rather than trying to intervene yourself.

Father, we lift this man to You in Jesus' name. You know his story, his struggles and the influences around him. Draw him to Yourself, show him Your love, soften his heart and give him wisdom and courage to turn from evil. Keep him safe, separate him from what harms him, and give our friend peace as he keeps praying. Amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join our voice with yours at the throne of grace, pleading in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. We thank God with you for the cross, where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, and we bless His name that there is deliverance in no other.

We are moved by your burden for this man who rented his flat to you. You have done well to pray not that God would bless him in the path he has chosen, but that God would bless him by bringing him out of it. For our Lord Jesus was bound that He might set the bound free, and He still says, If ye seek Me, let these go their way. Christ in bonds is our hope that those in bonds may be loosed. He who was led as a prisoner to Caiaphas has power to break every chain of sin, of false identity, and of ungodly influence.

You ask rightly that he may hear the voice of the Lord concerning His holy plan for his life and see the clear truth of his identity in Christ. The Scriptures teach us that our life is hid with Christ in God, and that all who are in Christ are chosen in Him, perfect in Him, and raised up together to sit in heavenly places in Him. Whatever Christ is, His people are in Him. They were crucified in Him, buried in Him, and risen in Him. This is the true identity which no sinful relationship or activity can give, for those things only promise liberty while they bring bondage. We pray with you that the Lord would break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that He would grant courage to walk the narrow path which leadeth unto life, and that He would work in him mightily by His Holy Spirit, for Christ is our life and apart from Him we can do nothing.

We also join you in asking that the Lord would separate him from ungodly influences, even those in his own household, and from that evil company which controls and endangers him. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, and to depart from evil is understanding. May the Lord open his eyes to see both the depth of His love in Christ and the exceeding sinfulness of the relationships in which he is entangled, that he may flee from them as from a snare and find refuge in the wounds of Christ. There is no comfort in sin, and there will be no coal at the last to warm the impenitent, but there is present mercy and present power for every sinner who casts himself wholly upon Jesus.

Continue, then, to look to Christ for him and to set Christ before him. Christ in you is the hope of glory, and when Christ is possessed by faith He cures sin, fills the soul with love to holiness, and bathes the heart in comfort. Tell him that the right to come to Christ lies not in any feeling of worthiness in himself, but in Christ's own command to come, and that whosoever cometh He will in no wise cast out. Christ has set us free, therefore let us not go back into bondage. Pray that he may not sit still as though he were yet in prison, but may rejoice in the liberty wherewith Christ makes free.

We will pray that the Lord will keep you faithful in intercession, that you will speak the truth in love, and that you will commend to this man the one way of salvation through faith in the Son of God, and the one holy pattern for life which God has ordained, that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy belongs within it. May the Lord give you wisdom to walk before him with grace and firmness, and may He who heard your prayer together grant deliverance, repentance, and newness of life, to the praise of His glorious grace. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before our Father who hears when we agree in the name of Jesus. We thank God for the cross where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, to deliver us from evil and to bring us into sonship. This sonship does not come by natural descent or by boasting in any earthly relationship, but by grace through faith, that we might put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption and be called children of God according to His will.

We pray for this man who rented his flat to you. The Lord knows him and knows the plans He has for him, thoughts far greater than ours. We ask that God would open his eyes to see his true identity in Christ and to recognize any false identity he has taken on when straying from the narrow path to follow his own desires. We pray that God would break a stony heart and give a soft heart that fears His holy name, with courage to depart from evil and to walk in what is excellent and true.

We ask for deliverance that Christ alone can give. With freedom Christ set us free, and we pray that this man would be set free indeed and stand fast in that freedom. Separate him, Lord, from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and from every controlling, hateful and harmful entanglement where he is manipulated or blackmailed and where his life may be in danger. Keep him safe, dissolve the darkness that surrounds him, and let him know the depth of your love.

We pray also for you who intercede, that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, that you may be sincere and filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. May you continue to show the tender mercies of Christ while holding fast to the truth.

We commit this man to the Lord who is light and who delivers from error and darkness, trusting not that God will simply remove all hardship, but that He will give strength to despise what is evil and to live for Him. May God grant him repentance and faith in Jesus alone for salvation, a new heart, and grace to live as a true son by character and obedience, perfect as his Father in heaven is perfect. In the powerful name of Jesus we ask these things, amen.
