Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in lifting up this man before the throne of grace and we thank you for your faithful intercession for him. It is beautiful that you thank God for the cross and for Jesus who suffered for all of us who believe, for that is the only ground on which we can come boldly before the Father. As you said, His thoughts are far greater than ours and His plans are for good, for Jeremiah 29:11 says I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, and Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that His ways are higher than our ways.

We agree with you concerning this man who rented his flat to you. We pray that the Lord will open his eyes to his true identity in Christ. When anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Any false identity adopted through sinful relationships or activities is not who God created him to be, and we pray that he will see the clear unmistakable truth that his worth and identity are found only as a child of God through repentance and faith in Jesus. God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.

We must speak plainly about the sin you have described. Whether it is fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, any sexual relationship outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman is sin before a holy God. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. And 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 shows that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God, listing both sexual immorality and homosexuality among those sins, but then declares and such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God. There is forgiveness and deliverance, but it requires turning away from that sin. The narrow path you prayed for is real, for Matthew 7:13-14 teaches that narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it. We pray he will find courage to choose that narrow way, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also agree with you that he needs to be separated from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and from the evil woman in his life where he is controlled and blackmailed and even in danger. Scripture warns us Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity, 2 Corinthians 6:14, and Come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, 2 Corinthians 6:17. An immoral woman or any relationship that uses control, manipulation and blackmail is not love, for love is patient and kind and does not seek its own way, 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. Proverbs 5:3-5 and Proverbs 6:26 warn that the lips of an adulteress drip honey but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and that immorality will hunt for precious life. We pray he will have the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10, and that he will have understanding to depart from evil, as Proverbs 3:7 says Be not wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.

We pray together now for his deliverance.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross of Your holy Son Jesus and for His blood that still breaks every chain. We come together in the name of Jesus, believing that when we agree it will be done for us by our Father in heaven, Matthew 18:19. Lord, You know this man, You see where he lives and who surrounds him, and You love him as Your creation. We ask You to break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh, as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26. Soften his heart for Your glory and give him ears to hear Your voice and eyes to see the deception of the false identity he has embraced. Lord, expose the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered and show him the depth of Your love that is far greater. Give him godly sorrow that leads to repentance, 2 Corinthians 7:10, and grant him the courage to flee sexual immorality and to submit himself to You. We pray that he will submit himself to God and resist the devil and the devil will flee from him, James 4:7, and that if the Son sets him free, he will be free indeed, John 8:36. Separate him, Lord, from every ungodly influence and from the evil woman who controls and blackmails him. Protect his life from danger, for You are his refuge and fortress, Psalm 91:2, and lead him out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Give him understanding to fear Your holy name and to depart from evil and to walk on Your narrow path that leads to life. We ask that You surround him with godly counsel and with believers who will speak truth in love and point him to marriage as You designed it, honorable and pure, Hebrews 13:4, if it is Your will for him to have a godly wife. Let him know that if he confesses his sins You are faithful and righteous to forgive him and to cleanse him from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. We trust Your perfect plan for his life and we thank You that You hear our prayers in Jesus' powerful name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently and to show Christ's love to him while not condoning his sin. Speak the truth in love and share the good news that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, John 14:6, and that there is salvation in no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Keep interceding for his protection and for his full deliverance, and trust that God who began a good work will be faithful to complete it as this man turns to Him with his whole heart.

We appreciate you bringing this man before the Lord so faithfully. The way you prayed for his heart to soften, for his eyes to be opened to who he is in Christ, and for protection from controlling influences shows real compassion, especially as you hold concern that he may not be safe where he is.

We have seen how grounding can come when a person begins to see his identity not as defined by past relationships or by what others expect or demand, but as someone created and loved by God and called to live before Him alone. That understanding does not change everything overnight, but it can become a steady reference point when there is confusion and pressure.

A practical way to continue is to keep your prayers simple and consistent, and if you have ongoing contact and he is willing, gently let him know you care and that a trusted pastor or Christian counselor could be a safe person to talk with confidentially. Keep clear and kind boundaries in your own role as his former tenant, and if you ever sense his safety is at immediate risk, encourage him to seek help from safe local support and protect your own safety as well. We are joining you in prayer.

Father, we lift this man to you and ask you to draw near to him, soften his heart, give him clarity about who he is in you and courage to step away from what harms him. Keep him safe, surround him with wise and godly help, and give our friend peace as he continues to intercede. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, agreeing together in the name of Jesus who alone is our hope.

We lift up this man before the Lord, asking that He who is gracious would speak that word which alone can save, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and like a careful dispenser He will not pour out a drop too little or too much, but deals with His children in weight and measure from His dear covenant love. We pray that this man would not look to forms and ceremonies, or works, or feelings, but look to what Christ has done, trusting in His one great sacrifice upon the cross where sin was punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him.

We pray that the Lord would open his ears and seal his instruction, that He may withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man, that He would break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, softened for His glory. May the Lord give him clear sight to know his true identity in Christ, and to turn from every false identity adopted when he strayed from the narrow path and followed his own desires. For we are told and have felt it in our personal experience, that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. At first when sin catches us in its net it is with the tiniest spider's cobwebs that can scarcely be seen, but deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone.

We ask the Lord to separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and to grant him understanding to fear His holy name and to depart from evil. We pray that every controlling and hateful entanglement, every relationship that stands outside the holy ordinance of marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and every bond where sex and dwelling together are claimed apart from that covenant, would be revealed for what it is, and that he would be loosed from it. Christ was bound that His people might be free, and when He was made sin for us we were made the righteousness of God in Him. May Christ who loosens the prisoners set this man at liberty indeed, that he may not go back into bondage nor sit still as though he were in prison.

We pray for his protection where his life may be in danger, and above all for the safety of his soul, that he would find no comfort in sin but would be led out of self to Christ, away from sin to Him who is the great Sin Bearer. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is no other foundation that any man can lay than that which is laid, Jesus Christ the righteous. May he hear the voice of the Shepherd and follow the narrow path with courage, rejoicing in the liberty wherewith Christ makes free.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, casting yourself upon God in Christ, for when a believer is in trouble he derives great comfort from reliance upon the compassion of God. The Lord scourges His children but He does not slay them, and every trial works for good to His church, His joy and treasure. May the Lord keep you also in His peace as you intercede, and may He be pleased to show mercy to this man for His own name's sake. In the powerful name of Jesus we ask these things, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before our merciful Father, and we thank you for bringing this need to the church with faith in the cross of His holy Son Jesus, who suffered for all who believe.

We hear your burden for this man and we agree with you that God hears when His people pray together in the name of Jesus. You have asked rightly, that he would hear the voice of God concerning His holy plan for his life and see the clear truth about his identity in Christ. As it is written, through Christ we receive deliverance from evil and promotion to sonship, that we might put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. Our true identity is not found in our desires or in the relationships we have chosen, but in being made sons of God through faith in Christ. For a time we must be drawn off from vain imagination about things of the body and from every false refuge, so that we may rest the hope of our salvation in repentance and continence, casting off carnal relationship to bring in that which is of faith.

We pray with you for his repentance and full deliverance. There is repentance, and it has great force, and is able to set free from the burden of sins even him who has been much in sins, and to establish in safety him who is in danger, even though he should have come to the very depth of wickedness. If we will lay hold on repentance, Christ can be formed in us again. With freedom Christ set us free, and we are to stand fast and not run back to the dominion we were under before. It is Another who has redeemed us and paid the ransom for us.

Therefore we pray that the Lord would break a stony heart and soften it for His glory, that He would open this man's eyes to see where he has strayed from the narrow path to follow his own desires, and give him courage to depart from evil and to fear His holy name. We ask that God would separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household who control or endanger him, and that he would come to know the depth of God's love while also seeing sin for what it is. We do not ask God to bless any relationship outside His design, for we hold to His historic and good plan that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. We ask instead for holiness, for a clean heart, and for the grace to walk in purity.

We also pray for your own peace as you wait. The delay of God's vengeance is not for our comfort in continuing as before, but to gather for ourselves the fruit of amendment after repentance, so that we may have full deliverance from the dangers that press upon us. None of the things God enjoins are too grievous if we bring a genuine purpose of heart, for even those who have done great wickedness can be washed clean by repentance and consideration before God.

May grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you and with this man. May the Father, who is light and delivers us from error and darkness, keep you both firmly settled in His grace, that no war may again be blown into flame, but that you may abide in Christ who alone is our salvation. We will continue to pray that this man will turn back to God with his whole heart, receive forgiveness through Jesus alone, and walk in newness of life.

In Jesus' powerful name we pray, amen.
