Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in lifting up this man before the throne of grace and we agree with you in the name of Jesus for his deliverance, for we know that our Heavenly Father hears us when we agree together.

We are encouraged by your heart of intercession for this man who rented his flat to you, and we see your desire for him to know his true identity in Christ and to be set free from the sinful relationships and activities that have led him away from the narrow path. God does have a holy plan for his life and His thoughts toward him are good. As it is written, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Yet we must also speak the truth in love that to stray from the narrow path and follow our own desires leads to bondage, for narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:14.

We pray that the Lord will indeed give him a new heart and open his eyes to see the false identity he has taken on. The Scripture promises, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We claim this for him, that his stony heart would be broken and softened for the glory of God. And we rejoice that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. This is his true identity, not the one forged in sin.

We must also address plainly that the sinful relationships you describe, including involvement with an evil woman outside of holy marriage, are not in alignment with God's will. God calls us to holiness and to flee from sexual immorality. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Marriage is to be held in honor between one man and one woman for life, and any sexual relationship outside of that covenant is fornication or adultery which God calls us to depart from. We pray he will come to hate evil as God does, for the fear of Yahweh is to hate evil Proverbs 8:13, and that he will choose to separate himself from ungodly influences, even those in his own household. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14.

We also lift up his need for protection, for you mention he is controlled, blackmailed and his life may be in danger. We pray for his physical and spiritual protection and for God to break every chain of control. We remember that if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36, and we pray he will be subject to God and resist the devil so that the enemy will flee from him James 4:7. We pray the Lord will surround him and deliver him, for the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17.

We thank you for praying in the powerful name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard.

So now we pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross and for Your holy Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe. We praise Your holy name. Lord, we bring this man before You, Your child whom You love. Open his eyes to see clearly who he is in Christ and expose the lie of the false identity he has embraced. Break his stony heart, give him a new heart of flesh, and give him courage to turn from his sin and walk the narrow path that leads to life. Separate him from every ungodly influence and from the evil woman and hateful relationships that control and blackmail him. Protect his life from danger and set him free from every snare of the enemy. Give him understanding to fear Your holy name and to depart from evil, to confess his sin and receive Your forgiveness and cleansing, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Draw him into fellowship with godly believers who will disciple him and help him grow in holiness. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede for him with love and truth, to speak the gospel to him when God gives opportunity, and to maintain godly boundaries while trusting the Lord to do the work of deliverance in His perfect timing.

We hear the burden you are carrying for this man, and we are grateful you brought him to the Lord so thoughtfully. It is a tender thing to pray for someone you once lived near, to want him to know who he is in Christ and to be free from influences that are controlling and unsafe.

One thing that has helped us when we pray for a loved one caught in a confusing identity and harmful relationships is to remember that a Christ-based identity is meant to be a steady place to stand when other voices and pressures are loud. It is about learning to live before God as the one audience that matters most, rather than being shaped by the expectations or control of others. That kind of clarity takes time, and only God can open eyes and soften a heart.

A steady next step for you is to keep entrusting him to God in prayer while keeping healthy boundaries in your own role as his former tenant. You cannot change his household or his choices for him, and trying to step into the middle often makes things harder for everyone. If you do have occasional contact, keeping it kind and brief is wise, and it helps to let a trusted pastor know you are carrying this so you are not holding it alone.

Father, we lift this man to You. You know his life, his household, and any danger or pressure he faces. Give him protection, clarity, and courage to step away from what harms him and to hear Your voice. Give him a true understanding of Your love and of who he is in Christ. Give our friend peace as he continues to pray, and wisdom to know how to love well from a distance. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope.

There is a Pit and we are all by nature in danger of going down into it, for sin has outlawed us from God and set us upon the broad road that leads to destruction. The soul that walks in darkness loves the darkness until grace opens its eyes. Sin at first catches a man with cobwebs that can scarcely be seen, and he thinks he may break them at will, but those cobwebs soon become chains and engender a second nature that holds him fast. To be kept from sin is a great mercy, for sin hardens the conscience and brings sorrow in later life, and to be delivered from its power is as much the work of God as to be delivered from its guilt.

We therefore make our prayer not to forms or feelings but to Him who alone can deliver. We pray that the Lord would open this man's ears and seal his instruction, that He may withdraw him from his purpose and hide pride from him, as He does in the night season when deep sleep falls upon men. We ask the Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness to do the same for him whom you have named. May the word go forth from heaven, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is the one great sacrifice of Christ upon the cross, where sin was punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him.

We pray that God would break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that He would give courage to walk in the narrow path and a true fear of His holy name. We ask that the eyes of his understanding may be opened to see his true identity in Christ, that he is not what sin and the world have called him, but what grace makes him when he is in Christ, a new creature. We pray that he may see the mischief of loving the world and the things thereof, and that the fascinating power of sin may be broken. We do not ask God to bless any way that is contrary to His holy word, for marriage is His ordinance of one man and one woman for life, and all intimacy outside that covenant is sin before Him. We ask rather that He will separate this man from every ungodly influence, even those in his own household, and from the evil company that now controls and endangers him, that He will show him the hatefulness of those sinful relationships where he is held and blackmailed and his very life is in peril, and give him understanding to depart from evil and to hate the sin that once he loved.

When a believer is in trouble he derives great comfort from reliance upon the compassion of God, who scourges His children in covenant love but does not slay them, and who deals out every trial in weight and measure. May this man be brought to look to Christ and live, to trust only in the merits of Jesus Christ, for there is no balm in Gilead apart from Calvary. To look to Christ is to trust in His blood and to be loosed from infirmity, to be set free as a bird from its cage, to be kept from falling even to the end.

We will continue to plead for him that the Lord who is able to keep him would do a thorough work, that where guilt is pardoned the love of sin may also be killed, and that he may be translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son to walk in newness of life. May the Lord hear our agreement together and answer for His own glory. In the powerful name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this man before the Lord and we agree with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation. We thank God with you for the cross, where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, and for the promise that deliverance from evil and the gift of sonship are given through Him.

We pray that the Lord will open this man's eyes to see the truth about his identity in Christ. Scripture teaches that we become sons of God not by our own desires or relationships, but by putting on Christ and receiving the Spirit of adoption. We ask that God will show him that any identity built on sinful relationships or activities outside of His design is false, and that his true hope is found in repentance and in belonging to Christ. Marriage is God's lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union belongs within it, and we pray he will come to love and honor that narrow path.

We ask God to break a stony heart and give a soft heart that fears His holy name and departs from evil. Even when a person has fallen into great wickedness, repentance has great force to set him free and to establish him in safety. As it is written, does not he who falls rise again, and he who turns away turn back to God, and as Paul says, we travail until Christ is formed in us again. We pray that God will grant him genuine repentance that bears fruit, and the courage to walk in continence and holiness.

We pray also for his deliverance from every ungodly influence, including those in his household, and from every controlling, hateful and sinful entanglement where he is being used, blackmailed or put in danger, including the evil relationship with this woman. Christ set us free with true freedom, and we pray that this man will stand fast in that freedom and not return to the dominion he was under before. Use the delay that God in mercy gives not to remain in danger, but to turn fully and find complete deliverance.

We ask the Lord to separate him from what harms him, to protect his life, to give him understanding of the depth of God's love, and to lead him to forsake what is evil and to follow the Lord with a whole heart. May he know that God hears when His people agree in prayer, and may he come to rest his hope not in his past or in other people, but in Jesus Christ alone.

We will continue to pray with you for his repentance, his safety, and his restoration as a son of God. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing this burden to prayer and for standing in agreement for this man. We join you in lifting him before the Father in the name of Jesus, trusting the work of the cross and the power of His blood for all who believe.

God desires a close and living relationship with His children, not a distant or ritual one. Jesus taught us to pray to our Father in heaven, to know Him as Father and to know how deeply we are loved by Him. That loving relationship is what He offers, not a legal or formal observance. Scripture teaches that our relationship with God is the center upon which all of life turns. When that vertical relationship is right, it brings every other relationship into its proper place. When it is out of order, other relationships become tangled and broken. Sin always separates us from God, and that separation then wounds every other area of life.

Your prayer reflects that truth. You are asking that this man would hear the voice of God concerning His plan for his life and would see who he truly is in Christ. The Bible shows that we can take on a false identity when we turn from the narrow path to follow our own desires, and only God can open blind eyes to see that clearly. We pray with you that God would soften a hardened heart and give courage to walk again on His narrow way. A loving relationship with God is far better than a life of trying to keep rules in our own strength, and it leads us to want what pleases the Father because we love Him.

We also pray that God would bring the kind of sorrow that leads to true repentance. There is a sorrow that only regrets consequences and leads to death, and there is a godly sorrow that leads to salvation and is not to be regretted, because it brings a real change. True repentance is not only feeling sorry but turning away and walking a new direction by the grace of God. Fruit comes naturally from a restored relationship with Him, not from striving alone.

We agree with you in asking the Lord to separate this man from ungodly influences, including those in his own household, and from relationships that are controlling, harmful, and sinful. God does not want a half hearted or divided devotion. He calls us to love Him fully and to depart from evil in the fear of His holy name. To fear the Lord is to turn from evil and to walk in His ways. We pray that this man would come to know the depth of God's love for him through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other way of salvation, and that this love would give him strength to leave behind every relationship and practice that is outside God's design. God's design for sexual intimacy and for living together is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and any path outside of that is not blessed by Him but calls for repentance and restoration.

We pray for his protection where he is vulnerable to manipulation, blackmail, or danger, and that God would make a way of escape and surround him with godly counsel and accountability. We ask that the Lord would give him understanding, a new heart, and a clear mind to recognize what is evil and to choose what is holy, and that his life would be grounded again in a right relationship with his heavenly Father.

May the Lord continue to give you compassion and perseverance as you intercede. Keep pointing this man to Jesus, to the forgiveness found only in Him, and to the new life He gives. We trust that as this man seeks the Lord with his whole heart, God will restore what sin has broken and lead him into wholeness, peace, and a walk that honors Him.

Father, we lift this man to You. Draw him to Yourself, reveal Your love to him through Jesus, forgive his sin through the cross, soften his heart, open his eyes to his true identity in Christ, and deliver him from every bondage and ungodly tie. Lead him to godly sorrow and real repentance, set him on the narrow path, and guard his life from evil. Let his relationship with You be made right, and let every other relationship be brought into Your order and truth. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.
