Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in lifting up this man before the throne of grace and we thank you for your faithful intercession for him. We agree together that our Heavenly Father hears us when we come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to God, and we praise God for the cross where His holy Son suffered for all who believe.

We see your heart to see this man, your former landlord, delivered and restored to the truth of who he is in Christ. Scripture tells us that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. His true identity is not found in sinful relationships or activities or in the desires of the flesh, but in being a child of God, created for good works and called to walk on the narrow path. Enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:13-14.

We pray with you that the Lord will break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh as He has promised, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Only God can soften a hardened heart and give courage to turn from the broad way and to follow Christ in obedience, and we ask Him to open this man's eyes to see the false identity he adopted when he strayed and to see the depth of God's love for him.

We also agree with you concerning the ungodly influences and the sinful and hateful relationships that have entangled him. The Word warns us, Don’t be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33 and Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers Psalm 1:1. When a man enters into sexual immorality outside of the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, whether it be fornication or adultery, he sins against his own body and against God, for the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord 1 Corinthians 6:13 and Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. The lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil, but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol Proverbs 5:3-5. We must lovingly but firmly rebuke this sin, for it brings control, blackmail, spiritual bondage and even danger to his life, and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23.

We pray that God will give him a holy fear of His name and understanding to depart from evil, for The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10 and Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on Proverbs 4:14-15. We ask the Lord to separate him from every ungodly influence, even those in his own household if necessary, and to make a way of escape where he feels trapped and controlled. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the cross and for Your mercy. Lord, You know this man, You know the plans You have for him, plans for peace and not for evil, to give him hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We ask that You speak clearly to him and help him to hear Your voice above every other voice. Open his eyes to the unmistakable truth of his identity in Christ and expose the lie of the false identity he has taken on through sin. Break his stony heart, Lord, soften it and give him a new heart that desires Your narrow path.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask for his deliverance. Break every chain of control, blackmail, manipulation and fear that the enemy has used through sinful relationships, and especially through the evil woman in his life. Give him holy courage and godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and grant him understanding to fear Your holy name and to depart from evil and from every adulterous and fornicating entanglement. Separate him from ungodly companions and guard his life from danger. Surround him with godly counsel and with believers who will speak truth in love. If it is Your will for him to be married, prepare him for a godly marriage to a believing woman that honors You, and until then keep him pure and walking in holiness.

We resist the devil on his behalf and we ask You to draw him to repentance, to confess his sin and to receive Your forgiveness and cleansing, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, with power and love and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, that he may walk in freedom, for Christ has made us free Galatians 5:1.

We trust You to complete the work You have begun in him and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In the powerful and precious name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We hear how much care you have for this man and we join you in lifting him to the Lord. It is a faithful, loving thing to keep praying for someone who was once your landlord when you can see he is under heavy pressure and caught in choices that are pulling him away from who he is.

What stood out to us in your prayer is your desire for him to know his true identity in Christ. That is such a steady anchor. When a person's sense of self gets tangled up in relationships or in trying to please others who are controlling or demanding, it can be very hard to hear God's voice clearly. Part of our prayer is that he would come to know himself as God sees him, as one loved and called to live before God alone, and that this would give him clarity and courage for the next right step.

We will keep praying with you. As you intercede, it helps to keep healthy boundaries in your own role as a former tenant and to entrust what you cannot control to the Lord. If you have ongoing contact and are ever concerned for his immediate safety, encourage him to seek help from trusted, safe people around him.

Father, we bring this man before You and ask for Your mercy over him. Open his eyes to Your love and to the truth about who he is in Christ, soften his heart and give him courage to turn from what harms him. Separate him from influences that control and endanger him, protect his life and dignity, and lead him toward wisdom and toward people who will support what is good and safe. Give him a clear sense of Your direction and the strength to follow it. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your earnest prayer and we join with you in bringing this man before the throne of grace, pleading that the Lord who alone can save will do a work of true deliverance in him.

You have prayed rightly, that he may hear the voice of the Lord and see the truth concerning his identity in Christ. The Scriptures teach us that our true identity is not found in the desires we have followed or the relationships we have entered, but in being created in the image of God and, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, being made a new creature in Him. Marriage, as God ordained it from the beginning, is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all sexual union and cohabitation belong within that holy bond. Whatever strays from this narrow path is sin, and sin is a power of darkness from which only Christ can deliver.

We pray with you that God would grant him not a superficial repentance which only affects the surface of the man and is hardly more than skin deep, a repentance that springs alone from terror and withers in a night, but that repentance which is the fruit of Divine Grace. Beware, as we have often warned, of a repentance that does not go to the heart. True repentance gives God glory, it hates sin because it slew Christ, it ejects sin as an evil tenant that the Lord Jesus Himself may enter and be sole master of the heart. You are not to seek to draw up repentance from the depths of your own heart as you might draw water from a well, but to ask Christ to work repentance in you by His Holy Spirit through belief of the truth. Any repentance that keeps a sinner from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. Repentance and faith are inseparable companions, they come together from the wilderness newly anointed, and they must walk together all the way from the wicket gate to the celestial city.

Therefore our prayer for him is this, that the Lord would open his ears and seal his instruction, that He may withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man. We cry with Job, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. For we have seen that when the soil slips from under a man's feet and he is about to dash into that bottomless Pit, the Lord can come in even then and rescue to the praise of the glory of His grace. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that power includes the fascinating power of sin, the tyranny of Satan who is the prince of the power of the air, and the snare of ungodly influences that would control and destroy. When Christ was bound, His people were made free, and we pray that this man may know that liberty.

Heavenly Father, we plead the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son which cleanses from all sin all who truly repent and believe in Him. Break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh. Soften him by Thy grace and give him courage to follow the narrow path. Grant him to fear Thy holy name, to depart from evil, and to be separated from every ungodly influence, even those in his own household, that have held him in bondage, control and danger. Open his eyes to see the depth of Thy love and the true misery of the sinful paths he has walked, that he may turn from them with loathing and look unto Christ and be saved. Teach him to look out of himself and away from himself, and to look to what Christ has done upon the cross, for that is all he has to do, to trust in that one great sacrifice.

We encourage you who have prayed to continue steadfastly in prayer, not trusting in forms or feelings, but looking to Christ. Pray that God would place faithful witnesses around him and keep you faithful also to speak the truth in love. May the Lord who heard you when you agreed together in the name of Jesus answer according to His far greater thoughts and plans, to His own glory.

We commend you both to Him who is able to keep you from falling, praying that you and he may yet live and declare the works of the Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this man before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for we believe that God hears us when we agree in prayer and that there is salvation in no one else.

We thank God with you for the cross, where His Son suffered for us, and we ask for the two great gifts that come through that cross, deliverance from evil and supply of good. We pray that this man would know what it means to be delivered from the curse and bondage of sin and to be brought into sonship, that he might receive the Spirit of adoption and know his true identity as a child of God in Christ. The Scriptures teach that Christ is light who delivers from error and dissolves mental darkness, and we ask that this light would shine into his heart, that the stony heart would be broken and softened, and that he would see clearly the false identity he has taken on and the narrow path to which God calls him.

We pray that with Christ he would be set free and would stand fast in that freedom, not turning back to the dominion that once enslaved him. It is not enough to be merely freed from the mire, we ask that he would be made holy, bright and beautiful, adorned with truth and walking in purity. We ask God to grant him courage to depart from evil, to fear His holy name, and to turn away from every relationship and activity that is outside God's good design. God has ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and has reserved sexual union and living together for that covenant alone, and we do not ask Him to bless what is contrary to His word, but to lead this man to repentance, wholeness and holiness for His glory.

We also lift to the Lord your concern for his safety and for the ungodly influences around him, including those in his household and the woman you mention. Sin separates us from God and brings us into bondage to others, but God is near to those who call upon Him. We ask that the Lord would separate him from every controlling and harmful influence, protect him from blackmail and danger where his life may be threatened, and surround him with godly counsel and fellowship that will help him walk in meekness and self denial. As of old those who were most headstrong in passions yet with a willing mind caught fire from Christ and were changed, so we pray that he too, having a willing mind, would set his course toward heaven.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, trusting in grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ to keep you and to work in his life according to His far greater thoughts and plans. In Jesus powerful name we pray, amen.
