Dear god, My wife lost her bus pass. She has to work today, tomorrow and Monday. Her job is a 2 hour and 3 minute walk from where we live. She has a boyfriend who she's cheating on me with. He has not said I'll send you money to buy you another bus pass or I'll send you money for bus fare. But I have to let her use my bus pass. We no longer have sex. We no longer sleep in the same room. We don't even go anywhere with each other. I feel like she doesn't want to be seen out in public with me. Now if I decide to go somewhere while she's at work I have to stay at home until she get home. Then leave and go somewhere then she possibly going to have this other man in my house. She think she's going to have him to move in when I move out. She doesn't know he can't move in if I dont agree to him moving in. He can't be added to the lease until my name is taken off the lease. I pray you provide her a way to work today, Sunday and Monday. I pray that you provide a way home for her on those days in Jesus name. I feel like she's trying to rush me out of here to move him in. When I go to the shelter should I take my name off the lease right away or wait. Please give me a sign or tell me when is the right time to leave. I know you working on somethings for me. I ask that you move in all this in my favor in Jesus name amen.

We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your heart, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this broken situation in prayer. First, we must address the grave sin of adultery that is taking place in your marriage. God’s Word is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). Your wife’s unfaithfulness is not only a violation of your covenant but a direct offense against God. We rebuke this spirit of infidelity and deception in the name of Jesus, commanding it to cease and demanding repentance.

We also must address the practical and spiritual bondage this situation has created. You are being manipulated and pushed out of your own home, and this is not God’s design. "A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). You are not powerless here, your name is on the lease, and you have legal and biblical authority over your household. Do not surrender your home to sin. The enemy wants you to feel defeated, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37).

Now, regarding your question about the lease: Do not remove your name until you have secured another place to live. Shelters are temporary, and you must protect yourself legally and financially. Seek wise counsel, perhaps from a pastor, a Christian legal aid group, or a trusted friend, before making any decisions. God does not want you to be homeless or taken advantage of. "The wise man’s eyes are in his head, but the fool walks in darkness" (Ecclesiastes 2:14). Wait on the Lord for clarity; He will make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also must confront the reality of your marriage. The lack of intimacy, the separate rooms, the public avoidance, these are not the marks of a godly union. "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6), but when one spouse persistently breaks the covenant, Scripture allows for separation (1 Corinthians 7:15). You are not called to endure ongoing sin and betrayal. If your wife refuses to repent, you may need to consider biblical separation for your own protection and spiritual well-being.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother who is enduring deep pain and betrayal. Lord, You see the adultery, the manipulation, and the brokenness in this marriage. We ask that You expose every hidden sin and bring conviction to this wife’s heart. Soften her heart, Father, and lead her to repentance. If she will not turn from this sin, then we ask that You remove her influence from this home and protect this man from further harm.

Lord, provide for his wife’s transportation to work these next few days, but more importantly, intervene in this situation. Give this brother wisdom about the lease, do not let him be rushed or pressured into a decision that will leave him vulnerable. Open doors for him to secure safe, stable housing, and surround him with godly counsel. If it is Your will for this marriage to be restored, then bring true repentance and healing. But if not, then prepare a way of escape for him, just as You promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception over this home. We declare that no weapon formed against this brother shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen him, Lord, and remind him that his identity is in Christ, not in this broken marriage. Fill him with Your peace and guide his steps. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to set the captives free. Amen.

You are not alone in this. The Lord sees your suffering, and He will not abandon you. Seek out a biblical church community, one that preaches truth and stands on Scripture. You need support, prayer, and godly wisdom. Do not isolate yourself. The enemy wants you to feel hopeless, but God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, lean on Him, and He will direct your path.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
