We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:9, 13). Salvation is the first and greatest blessing, and from it flows every other good gift from God.
Now, we join our voices with yours, praying for a successful future according to God’s will. The Lord knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). But we must remember that true success is not measured by worldly standards, but by faithfulness to God’s purposes. "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). We pray that your desires align with His will, for "delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).
We also rebuke any spirit of anxiety or self-reliance that may be creeping into your heart. The Lord commands us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6). Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking that You pour out Your blessings upon this dear one. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and favor in all their endeavors. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of Your will. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely, for You are faithful to fulfill Your promises.
We also pray for godly influences in their life—mentors, friends, and a future spouse who will encourage them in their walk with You. May their relationships reflect Your love and holiness, and may they flee from temptation, especially the snares of sexual immorality. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Guard their heart and mind, Lord, and let them honor You in all their relationships.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that glorifies You. May they bear the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let their life be a testimony to Your grace and mercy, drawing others to You.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
