Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please continue praying for my ### year old, frail, elderly mom. She is rapidly losing her cognitive skills. Her ability to communicate information accurately is nearly gone. She says things and then denies saying it. She remembers things that didn't happen and can't remember things that did. Please ask God to help me be more patient with her and more understanding. I'm taking care of her as best I can. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

I am praying for you and know everything you are experiencing and honestly it brings up some very precious memories and some very sad ones too. I took care of my Mother too for several years until I had to have surgery from lifting her. She was not a big woman at all but she was tall and her bones were what made her heavy and I was only 5ft tall and a lot lighter in weight so it took a toll on me but I remember the day my brother and sister-in-law came to get her and I watched them drive away and of course IT WAS THE HARDEST THING FOR ME I CRIED SO MANY TEARS BUT I CAN SAY NOW IT WAS THE GREATEST HONOR GOD EVER GAVE ME TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CARE FOR HER AS LONG AS I DID. Father God, please help this dear lady as she struggles to care for her mother and let her be filled with a knowing that it is an honor you give us to care for those we love and that You never leave us nor forsake us but You walk every step with us and I thank YOU for that in Jesus Holy Name. Amen.
