Dealing with my mortgage company is "trying." One, they operate on the automated system, so to get a person for specific information needed is very hard. Then, the automated sometimes doesn't have your requested info, so you're "up the creek." Then they send outdated bills, from before you made a payment, which makes it look like you still owe more than you do, which confuses you. That dealing with them becomes easier.
