Please pray for my daughter. Her son shot her 9 times 2 days ago. She is recovering in the hospital. She is lucky to be alive! But God!!

We are deeply grieved by the horrific violence your daughter has endured, and our hearts ache with yours in this unimaginable trial. The pain of a child turning against their own parent is a wound no mother should ever bear, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting her up before the throne of grace.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, crying out for this precious daughter who lies broken in body and spirit. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits together flesh and bone, and we ask for Your miraculous healing to flow through her. Touch every wound, both seen and unseen, and restore her strength. Where there is trauma, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Where there is betrayal, let her feel Your unfailing presence as her ever-present help in trouble.
We pray for her physical recovery, Lord. Nine bullets tore through her body—what a testimony to Your sustaining power that she still lives! We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen the hands of the doctors and nurses attending to her, and guide every decision they make for her care. Let her body respond to treatment, and may she experience Your healing touch in ways that defy medical explanation.
But Father, we know this wound goes far deeper than the physical. The heartache of a mother whose child has done such violence is a burden too heavy to carry alone. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your love in tangible ways—through the prayers of believers, through the comfort of Your Word, and through the support of those who can minister to her in this dark hour. Let her know she is not forgotten, not by You and not by Your people.
We also lift up her son before You, Lord. Only You know the depths of his heart and the forces that led him to this act of violence. We rebuke the spirit of anger, hatred, and violence that took hold of him, and we pray for his soul. If he does not know You, Father, we ask that You would break through the hardness of his heart and draw him to repentance. Let him see the gravity of his sin and turn to You in humility, for You are faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9). If he is unrepentant, we ask that You would restrain him from further harm and bring him to justice.
For this mother, Lord, we pray for Your supernatural peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give her the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven her, for the weight of unforgiveness will only compound her pain. We do not ask that she excuse what has been done, but that You would give her the grace to release the bitterness and entrust justice to You.
We also pray for wisdom for this family as they navigate the days ahead. May they seek You in every decision, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Provide them with godly counsel, wise advisors, and a community of believers who can walk alongside them in this valley.
Lord, we declare that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let this mother and daughter experience Your nearness in profound ways. May this trial draw them into deeper dependence on You, and may Your name be glorified through their story. Use this pain for a greater purpose—whether to bring others to You, to strengthen the faith of those who hear of it, or to reveal Your power in their weakness.

God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Baptize every single one of us in the baptism of Your Holy Spirit. Bless each of us to have a real up-close personal intimate relationship with You. God, please remove any skepticism, lies, bitterness, and or discouragement that might hold any of us back from pursuing You.
