We lift your daughter before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch and mercy to surround her in this difficult time. The pain of watching a child suffer is profound, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We cling to this promise, knowing that God is close to your daughter even now.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your healing power to flow through her body, restoring her health and strength. Lord, we specifically ask for Your hand to touch her pancreas, bringing relief from the inflammation and pain. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We declare Your word over her from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We also lift up her struggle with alcohol, Lord. We know that this is not just a physical battle but a spiritual one as well. We rebuke the hold that addiction has had on her life, and we pray for Your deliverance and freedom. Your word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that You would make a way of escape for her, Lord, and that she would turn to You for strength and help.
Father, we ask that You would draw her heart to You in this time of vulnerability. May she come to know the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace. We pray that she would surrender her life fully to You, finding hope and purpose in a relationship with Jesus Christ. If she has not yet placed her faith in Him, we pray that this experience would be a turning point, leading her to salvation. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray this for her, Lord, that she would come to know You as her Savior and Lord.
We also pray for wisdom and strength for the medical team treating her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they care for her. Give them insight into the best course of treatment, and surround them with Your peace and clarity.
And to you, dear parent, we want to offer encouragement and hope. This is a challenging time, but you are not alone. God sees your pain and hears your prayers. We pray that He would give you comfort and strength as you walk through this valley. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lean on Him, and trust that He is working even in the midst of this storm.
Lord, we also ask that You would protect her mind and spirit during this time. Guard her from feelings of despair or hopelessness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May she sense Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her and that You have a plan for her life. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
