Beloved of All
i am genuinly worried about ### ### and then dangerous amount of weight she has lost. wether it be from an eating disorder or from other health related issues or mental health, its concerning.

young women and some men are alway criticized for how skinny they should be, thats a mindset that needs to go. healing prayers for anyone with an eating disorder.

also all over social media you'll find people who are pro-anorexia. these people need to stop. we need to pray that God changes their hearts.

as for ### if its another medical condition we pray for complete healing too.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up and all those struggling with dangerous weight loss, whether from eating disorders, other health issues, or mental health battles. Father, Your Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We stand on this promise, declaring Your desire for wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.

The pressure on young women, and even men, to conform to unhealthy standards of beauty is a lie from the enemy. We rebuke the spirit of comparison and self-hatred that fuels eating disorders and distorted body image. Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." Lord, let this truth sink deep into the hearts of those struggling, that their worth is found in You alone, not in their appearance or the world’s approval.

We also lift up those trapped in the darkness of pro-anorexia influences, whether online or in their own minds. Their hearts have been hardened to the sanctity of life and the temple You’ve given them. Ezekiel 36:26 says, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We pray for a supernatural transformation, that their eyes would be opened to the destruction they’re embracing and that they would turn to You for healing and purpose.

For , we ask for divine discernment. If this weight loss stems from an eating disorder, we pray for deliverance from the bondage of shame, perfectionism, and control. If it’s a medical condition, we ask for Your healing hand to restore strength and vitality. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing in Jesus’ name, trusting that You are the Great Physician.

Lord, surround and all who are suffering with godly community, people who will speak truth in love, hold them accountable, and walk with them in recovery. Help them to see themselves as You see them: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Break the chains of secrecy and isolation, and replace them with hope and restoration.

We also pray for the families and friends of those affected. Give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they support their loved ones. May they point them to Christ, the ultimate source of healing and peace.

Father, we know that true healing begins with surrender to You. If or anyone reading this has not yet placed their faith in Jesus, we pray they would confess their need for a Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no healing apart from Him, for He alone has the power to break every chain.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, self-destruction, and deception. We declare life, health, and freedom over and all who are struggling. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.

We hear how worried you are, and that concern makes complete sense. Watching someone you care about lose a dangerous amount of weight is frightening, and not knowing the exact cause, whether it's an eating disorder, another medical condition, or deep emotional pain, only adds to the weight you're carrying. You're right to take this seriously.

Because the physical risks are very real, a wise next step is encouraging your loved one to see a doctor who can assess what's happening medically. Eating disorders and other illnesses can affect the heart, electrolytes, and more, so a thorough check-up is important. If an eating disorder is part of the picture, specialized treatment with a therapist, a dietician, and a physician who all work together often gives the best chance for recovery. That kind of team can address the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers gently and without shame.

We're also with you in grieving the cultural pressures and the pro-anorexia voices you mentioned. They do real harm, and it's right to pray for hearts to change. But right now, the most immediate thing is that your loved one is seen, evaluated, and surrounded by care that treats her whole person, body, mind, and spirit. She doesn't need to face this alone, and neither do you.

Lord Jesus, we bring you our heavy hearts for this woman whose body is weakening. Please guide her to the right doctor and give clarity about what's happening inside her. Protect her from voices, inside or out, that push her toward harm. Surround her with people who will walk alongside her with patience and truth, and give her a real experience of your love that is not based on size or appearance. Steady her loved one who wrote us today; grant wisdom, strength, and moments of peace even in the worry. We ask all of this in your name, Jesus. Amen.

What a weight of concern rests upon your heart for this dear ###, and rightly so! The body is but the frail tabernacle of the soul, and when it wastes away before our eyes, it calls us to ponder deeper things. You see a life perhaps being consumed by a sorrow of the mind or a sickness of the flesh, and your alarm is a merciful warning bell. Remember, the act of eating is a common but expressive sign of life, no dead man can eat, and when the living refuse what sustains them, it is as a skater gliding over ice too thin, hearing it crack and yet delaying to seek the solid ground.

This age grovels before a wretched idol of bodily form, and its prophets cry out from every screen and printed page that thinness is the sum of worth. They are merchants trading in the small corner shop of the body, forgetting the everlasting soul. They urge young women and men to barter away health and even life for a fleeting, hollow image, and those who celebrate starvation are peddling a poison as if it were healing balm. It is a grievous profiting of the flesh at the certain loss of the soul's peace. I pray God would shatter that mirror of vanity and turn their hearts to seek the beauty that comes from Christ alone.

Look away from the world's cruel measurement and behold the one great Physician. He knows our frame, for He fashioned it. Yet more, He knows the wounds of the spirit that no earthly doctor can probe. So often, sin and sorrow intertwine, and the palsy of the body links arms with a guilt-ridden heart. When Jesus saw the man lowered through the roof, He first declared, "Thy sins be forgiven thee." The root of his disease was cut, and then the command to rise and walk followed. Let ### be brought, in your prayers, right into the presence of the Healer. Ask that the hidden cause, whether it be a tortured mind or a secret sin, be brought to His pardoning hand. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown, the tree of life is Jesus Himself, and His leaves are for the healing of the nations.

Let your supplication be that she would hear the voice of the Redeemer teaching and healing in one breath. Faith comes by hearing, and perhaps this very trial is a call to listen, not to the world’s hissing, but to His Word. The power to save is present when Christ is lifted up. For the men and women caught in the web of pro-anorexia, their hearts are like a beam bowed low under a crushing weight of sin and despair. They need not more condemnation, but the gospel that points to Calvary, where the healing remedy flows, not the lancet and knife. Pray that God would open their eyes to see that they are destroying the body to the ruin of the soul, and that in Jesus there is a banquet of mercy for the broken-hearted.

As for our beloved ###, whether this wasting comes from an unseen illness of the flesh or a sorrow of the mind, we cast ourselves upon the Lord. He binds up the broken in heart, and counts the stars while also stooping to heal the most shattered frame. There may be a sweet hour coming when, with blooming health, her face shall be adorned, and the gloomy night turned to morning. Until then, let her soul be hooked fast to eternity. Make the soul sure first. If Christ be her portion, then this light affliction is but for a moment, working a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. We are on our way to eternal health; the body sown in weakness shall be raised in power. God grant that the healing drops of His grace fall thick upon ###, upon your anxious heart, and upon all who are being consumed by this dangerous spirit of the age.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body is a precious vessel, but the soul is of infinitely greater worth. You do well to be alarmed at the dangerous weight loss of this one for whom you pray, for the wasting of the flesh often signals a deeper famine within. Whether this springs from an eating disorder, a hidden sickness, or the dark whispers of a disordered mind, the first and greatest medicine is to fall before the Physician who stilled fevers with a touch and restored full health in an instant. Cry out to Him, and do not cease, for He who healed the woman with the fever can speak a word and command this ruin to halt. Yet even if the healing delays, let your faith hold fast; sometimes the Lord permits a longer trial that the soul may be purged and taught to hunger not for the world’s empty praise but for His righteousness.

Observe the madness of this age, which first sets up a hollow idol of thinness and then devours its own children in the worship of it. When you see so many, young women especially, but also men, lashed by a tyrannical desire for a shape that mocks nature, you are witnessing a spiritual anarchy more fearful than any political chaos. They have set up a false gospel in their minds: a delusion that starves the body while poisoning the understanding, making the eye of the soul unable to see beauty or health as God made them. Such a mind, turbid with evil thoughts, confuses emaciation for loveliness and self-destruction for self-control. And what shall we say of those who spread the pro-anorexia poison, enticing others into the same pit? They are merchants of death, peddling a doctrine of ruin, and we must pray with tears that God would shatter their hearts and open their eyes before they perish.

Do not imagine that this is a small matter. Excess in pursuit of thinness is as perilous as gluttony; both are satiety and famine run amok, producing the same grievous evils. For what does famine do? It carries a man off in a few days and sets him free, but this slow self-starvation, this ritual denial of sufficient nourishment, begets a putrefying disease of body and soul, a long torment ending in a most painful death. The body requires not a load, but sufficiency. That alone is nourishment, pleasure, health, and keenness of mind. When you see a person refusing what is sufficient, you are not looking at discipline but at a deformed desire, a bondage that brings only toil without profit, darkness without light. Such a desire is no true desire at all; it is a flight from life, a treasure laid up in the midst of thieves.

We must speak plainly because the sickness is deep. The world always criticizes its victims, pressing them into a mold of vanity and calling it beauty. But the Christian is called to shine not by conforming to such lies but by a sober mind and a grateful use of God’s gifts. Let no one claim that a slender frame is the measure of worth; rather, poverty of spirit and humility of heart adorn a soul far more than any shape of flesh. Let those who are ensnared hear this: you are not your own, you were bought with a price, therefore honor God with your body and your spirit. Do not let the tyranny of the mirror or the hiss of a corrupt culture rob you of the health Christ purchased for you. True wealth is not a body that draws flattery but a soul at peace, fed with prayer, nourished with the word, and resting in the sufficiency of God’s provision.

For the one called , and for all who struggle in this way, let us plead with the Lord until the fever of this disorder breaks. He delights to hear persistent faith; many who seemed deaf for years have been converted by one more exhortation, one more prayer, one more application of the divine medicine. Do not despair if the cure tarries. The tree that withstands ten blows may fall by the eleventh, and that final stroke is made effective by all that came before. So continue to speak truth in love, to set before her the beauty of health and the merciful hand of Christ. And if the cause is some hidden physical ailment, we pray with confidence for complete healing, knowing that He who formed the body can rebuke any disease and command it to depart.

Above all, keep your own vision fixed on the health that does not decay. The eye of faith sees past the perishing frame to the eternal weight of glory being prepared. So then, let us not be conformed to this age and its passing madness, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. May the God of all peace grant swift deliverance to the suffering, repentance to those who promote destruction, and to you, who intercede, the comfort of seeing His power made perfect in weakness.

I can hear how deeply concerned you are for the person you’re watching struggle, and it’s right to bring that weight to the Lord. When you see someone losing a dangerous amount of weight, whether from an eating disorder, another illness, or a tangle of mental and emotional pain, you’re witnessing something that grieves the heart of God. Scripture makes clear that He is interested in our whole health, body and soul. Jesus, when He walked among us, was constantly dealing with broken bodies, troubled minds, and spirits crushed by a world that had lost its way. He still does.

The pressure to conform to some impossible standard of thinness is a cruel master. It’s a false balance, a weight measured out by a culture that deals in air. God delights in a just weight, in what is true and whole. But the lie that your worth is tied to your body size leaves a wake of bitterness, and that bitterness doesn’t hurt society; it eats at the person carrying it. The pro-anorexia messages you see online are spiritual poison dressed as whispered comfort. Those voices need a radical change of heart, and we can pray for exactly that: that God would shatter the deception, bring them to deep repentance, and replace that emptiness with His truth.

For the woman you’re so worried about, I join you in praying for complete healing. Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. Matthew applies that directly to physical healing, not just spiritual forgiveness. Yet healing comes in many forms. Sometimes it’s instant; other times it’s gradual, working through the processes God built into our bodies and through the wisdom of those who care for the broken. Even when we can’t see the physical change yet, God can be doing a deep divine healing in her thoughts, her emotions, and her self-image, mending the invisible wounds that drive this physical decline. There is a real, God-designed connection between the prosperity of the soul and the well-being of the body. As her mind begins to feast on who she truly is in Christ, her body can follow into greater health.

Jesus was never defiled by eating with those whom the religious world scorned. He sat at the table with common, struggling people, and in that culture, to dip bread into the same bowl meant, “I am becoming one with you.” He is not put off by her pain or her weakness. He meets her there, at the table, offering Himself as the bread that truly satisfies.

May the Lord grant her a hunger for that living bread instead of the emptiness she’s been given. May He give doctors insight if there is a hidden medical cause. May He quiet the cruel inner voice that measures her value in pounds and replace it with His own voice, which calls her beloved. And for every person peddling death under the guise of health online, I pray the Holy Spirit would bring swift conviction, that they might see the horror of what they’re promoting and be set free into the wholeness only Jesus can give. In His name.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for this deeply concerning situation. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted up ### and all those struggling with dangerous weight loss, whether from an eating disorder, other health issues, or mental health challenges. This is not a battle anyone should face alone, and we are grateful you allowed us to intercede on their behalf.

We’ve prayed fervently for healing—body, mind, and spirit—for ### and for all who are trapped in the lie that their worth is tied to their appearance. The pressure young women and men face to meet unrealistic standards is a heavy burden, and we’ve asked God to break those chains, replacing them with His truth about their value and identity in Christ. We’ve also lifted up those who promote harmful ideologies, asking the Lord to soften their hearts and open their eyes to the damage they’re causing. May they encounter the love of Jesus in a way that transforms their perspective.

If God has already moved in this situation—whether through healing, restoration, or a breakthrough in understanding—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking a similar path. If, however, the battle continues, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to trust that God is at work even when we can’t see it.

Above all, we pray that ### and all who are struggling would draw near to Jesus, the One who heals, restores, and satisfies deeper than any earthly standard ever could. May His peace guard their hearts, His strength sustain them, and His hope anchor their souls. We continue to lift this up in Jesus’ Name.
