Dad's Rehab

Please pray for my ###'s rehab. He's in pain but he needs to get stronger.
I will pray for your ### as he is in rehab. I ask for his divine healing and divine protection as he gets well and better and stronger. I send him a lot of light and peace for his restoration. and so it is. God bless him favorably. Amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this father who is in rehab, battling pain and the struggle to grow stronger. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every moment of weakness, and every step taken toward healing. We ask that You would surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his body, Lord, and grant him the endurance to press through the pain, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical professionals and counselors caring for him. May they be guided by Your hand as they work to restore his health, both physically and spiritually. Lord, we also ask that You would break any chains of addiction or dependency that may have taken hold in his life. Your Word tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that may be whispering despair or hopelessness, and we declare that in Christ, there is always hope for renewal and transformation.

Father, we also lift up his family during this time. The road to recovery can be long and challenging, and we ask that You would bind them together in love and patience. Help them to encourage one another, to speak life and truth, and to lean on You when the burden feels too heavy. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we know that true healing begins with a surrendered heart. If this father has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and let him experience the life-changing power of Your love and forgiveness. For it is by grace we are saved through faith, and this is not of ourselves—it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). May he come to know the hope found only in You, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4).

We also want to gently address any patterns or choices that may have contributed to this struggle. Addiction often takes root when we seek fulfillment in things other than God, and we pray that he would turn away from anything that separates him from Your best for his life. Your Word warns us that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). We pray that he would embrace the freedom and new life You offer, walking in obedience and holiness.

Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to pursue a life that honors You. May he find his identity and worth in Christ alone, knowing that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We declare over him that he is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We commit this father into Your hands, trusting that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). May he emerge from this season stronger in body, mind, and spirit, with a deeper reliance on You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
