We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the burdens you’ve shared, trusting in His sovereignty over all things—personal struggles, global events, and the brokenness of this world. First, we thank God for the mobility He has provided through your medical scooter, even as we pray for its continued function. Father, we ask that You grant it reliability tomorrow and in the days ahead, sparing it from further malfunctions. If it is Your will, provide a trustworthy solution for a new scooter, one that honors You in its procurement and use. May the scooter man who ignored your message be softened by Your Spirit to act with integrity, or may You raise up another who will serve with honesty and diligence.
We also pray for the weather, Lord, that Your hand would hold back the snow on Sunday and Wednesday, allowing safe passage to church and physiotherapy. Strengthen your body for the walking you can do, and grant wisdom to those who assist you in mobility. May these appointments be times of refreshment for your spirit and healing for your body, all for Your glory.
Regarding the man at church, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to sow division and unforgiveness. Father, we ask that You soften his heart toward reconciliation, and that You grant ### humility and grace to seek restoration if needed. If there has been offense, may it be addressed in love and truth, with both parties extending the forgiveness You have so freely given us. "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do" (Colossians 3:13).
For your mother, we pray for peace amid her concerns. Lord, help her to cast her anxieties upon You, trusting that You hold the future of her students. Give her wisdom in tutoring, patience with technological struggles, and discernment in knowing when to intervene and when to release control. May she find rest in Your sovereignty, remembering that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We also lift up her students—grant the young boy provision for his computer needs, clarity for his sister in her circumstances, and accountability for the student using his cousin’s account. May their paths be guided by Your truth and grace.
Now, regarding the matters of leadership and justice, we affirm that You are the ultimate Judge, and all authority is established by You (Romans 13:1). Yet we also know that You despise injustice, oppression, and sin. We pray for repentance and conviction where there has been greed, lust, racism, and deception. If these leaders have acted wickedly, we ask that You remove them from power in Your perfect timing, replacing them with those who will govern with righteousness and humility. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2). We also pray for peace in the nations, that Your Spirit would restrain evil and stir hearts toward reconciliation. May Your church be a light in these dark times, standing firm on Your Word and extending Your love to all.
Most critically, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior—believing in His death for your sins and His resurrection for your eternal life—we urge you to do so today. The world’s troubles will not cease, but in Christ, you find peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Without Him, our prayers are like noise before a holy God. We pray that you would confess your need for a Savior and surrender your life to Him.
Lord, we come before You now with all these requests, trusting in Your goodness and justice. Heal what is broken, provide for what is lacking, and bring repentance where there is sin. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen Your church to be salt and light in a decaying world, and may Your kingdom come in power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
