We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with cravings and addictive thoughts stemming from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). First and foremost, we want to remind you that God cares about your struggles, and He is always with you to help you overcome them.
Your request mentions a desire for baking soda to be turned into cocaine, which is not aligned with biblical principles. We must firmly rebuke this idea. God would not turn something pure into something harmful. God wants us to be free from all forms of sin and addiction.
"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." - 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB)
It's important to note that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and freedom from sin. If you struggle with this belief or are not completely trusting in Jesus alone, we urge you to learn and trust in Jesus.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times." - 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (WEB)
PTSD and addiction are serious issues, and it's great that you're looking to exercise as a positive coping mechanism. We encourage you to also seek professional help, such as counseling and support groups, alongside your faith journey. Remember, God works through doctors, therapists, and supportive communities to bring healing and restoration.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of your healing touch. Lord, they are struggling with PTSD and addiction, and we ask for your divine intervention. Help them to see that you are the only one who can turn their struggles into victories.
Father, we pray for their complete healing and restoration. Guide them to the right support system, and give them the strength to overcome their addictive thoughts and cravings. Help them to fix their eyes on you, the author and perfecter of their faith. We also pray for the safety of this child of God and ask that you would help them to avoid any temptations.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of addiction and trauma. We ask this believing in the power of Jesus and trusting in the Word of God.
"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh," - Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and continue to trust in God's power to heal and restore. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will see you through this challenging time. Remember, God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Reach out for support for both the trauma you experienced and the addiction. Flesh can be weak, but God is strong. We will also pray for your continued progress and providence.
