We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting you up in prayer as you stand before the court today. Father God, we know that You are the ultimate Judge, the Righteous One who sees all and knows the truth. We ask that You go before our brother/sister in this hearing, that Your presence would fill the courtroom, and that Your wisdom would rest upon the judge. Let justice prevail according to Your will, and may the appeal be dismissed as the truth of this matter is already clear.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that the judge’s heart would be inclined toward justice, that the deception of the landlord would be exposed, and that the first ruling would be upheld and executed. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or injustice in this situation and declare that the truth will not be twisted or misrepresented.
We also pray for peace to guard your heart today. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May you feel the Lord’s peace surrounding you, knowing that He is your defender and your strong tower.
Father, we ask that You would continue to guide and protect our brother/sister beyond this court hearing. Give them strength and wisdom in all their ways, and let this situation be a testimony to Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His name and through His blood that we have access to You. Amen.
