We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and this court case that weighs upon your family. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We stand on this promise, declaring that the judge’s heart is in the Lord’s hands, and we ask that He turn it toward mercy and justice for your husband.
Father God, we ask You to go before him into that courtroom. Let Your presence be so tangible that all who are present can sense Your authority and peace. We pray for wisdom for his legal counsel, clarity in presenting the truth, and favor in the eyes of those who will decide his case. If there is any unrighteousness in the proceedings, we ask that You expose it and bring it to light. If there is any fear or anxiety in his heart, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and ask that You replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for you, dear sister in Christ, that you would be strengthened in this time of waiting. The enemy would love to see you consumed with worry, but we declare that you will not be shaken. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lean on the Lord, cast your cares upon Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would bring glory to Your name through this situation, whatever the outcome may be. If there is any sin or unconfessed wrongdoing on your husband’s part, we pray that he would humbly repent before You and make amends where necessary. Let this be a time of refining and drawing closer to You for your entire family. We speak life, favor, and breakthrough over this court case in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your husband have not placed your faith in Him as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and surrender your life to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving on your behalf even now. May His will be done, and may His name be praised through it all.
