The request for your sister to receive wisdom is itself a mark of wisdom. All the passages of Scripture that personify wisdom show her crying out at the city gates, calling for hearts that will listen. That call still goes out, and a heart turned toward God in the fear of the Lord has already found the starting point of true understanding.

The world offers its own kind of wisdom for navigating legal struggles: strategic maneuvering, reliance on influence, the anxiety of self-rescue. But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and full of good fruit. It does not strut in boast or envy. When your sister seeks God’s wisdom on how to help your brother, she is reaching for that very thing which is better than rubies, more to be desired than any financial breakthrough. And the remarkable pattern we see in Scripture is that when someone values wisdom above riches or personal vindication, God often adds those other things as well. Ask Solomon. He prayed for an understanding heart to discern right from wrong, and God not only gave unparalleled wisdom but also wealth and honor he hadn’t requested. Seeking the wisdom of God is never a losing trade.

So together we can pray for a turn of events, yes, and for the court case to be continued if that is what best serves mercy and justice. But we also pray for your sister to be given largeness of heart, like the sand on the seashore, a capacity that exceeds mere human calculation. That kind of wisdom knows how to speak, how to act, and when to be still. It opens doors that no earthly maneuvering can force. I will be asking the Lord to pour out that spirit of wisdom and understanding upon her, and upon you as you support your brother.

The financial need is real, and I’m not dismissing it. Wisdom herself says that with her are durable riches and righteousness. The same God who founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding can orchestrate provision in ways that make the wisdom of this world look foolish. His favor rests on those who find Him, and that favor can touch every courtroom, every timeline, and every empty account. Do not let this trial drive you to lean on earthly, sensual, or self-reliant strategies that ultimately come to nothing. Instead, watch daily at the doorposts of His Word. The promise remains: whoever finds wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.

May God grant your older sister a clear, calm, and creative wisdom that surpasses the wisdom of any legal expert who operates apart from Him. May your brother experience a turn of events that testifies to the power of God over every earthly authority. And may the provision you need arrive as a quiet gift from the hand of the One who knows what you need before you ask.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time for your family. It has been our heart’s desire to intercede on behalf of your brother, that his court case would be continued according to God’s perfect timing, and that he would experience divine favor in every detail. We have also been lifting up your older sister, asking the Lord to grant her supernatural wisdom as she seeks to support your brother in the best way possible. Additionally, we have prayed for a financial breakthrough that would ease the burdens your family is facing, trusting that God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas—whether through a continuance, a turn of events, wisdom granted to your sister, or a financial blessing—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has answered so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the situation remains unresolved, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. Our prayers will not cease until we see God’s hand at work in every aspect of this matter.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in this season. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
