Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Lord with love and faith.

We ask our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ His Son, to lay His healing hand upon your son. We pray that the Lord who is the true physician would ease his breathing, calm the inflammation, cleanse every infection, and strengthen his immune system to fight off illness and viruses. In this heat especially, we ask God to grant him relief, to open his airways and to give him rest and comfort in each breath.

We know that Christ is able to do this, and we come to Him trusting not in our own worth but in His great mercy and lovingkindness. He came not to condemn but to save, and He still hears those who call upon Him in faith. Continue to bring your son before Him daily, trusting His wisdom and His timing, and thanking Him as you already do for all His care toward your family.

May the Lord grant your son renewed strength and easier breathing, and may He grant you peace as you wait upon Him. We pray that God will be glorified in your son's life and that you will both know more deeply the comfort and hope we have in Christ.

We stand with you in prayer for complete healing according to God's gracious will, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son and for allowing us to pray with you. We join you in bringing his need for breath and health before the Father in the name of Jesus.

We take comfort in remembering how Jesus healed the official's son while the boy was still many miles away. Jesus simply spoke the word and at that distance God brought healing. That account reminds us that Jesus is not limited by distance or circumstance. What He does is the work of the Father, and as the Son He does what He sees the Father doing. He has authority over the physical realm and He gives life as the Father gives life. All judgment and honor have been given to the Son, so when we come to Him we are coming to God Himself at work for our good.

We also remember the man at the pool in Jerusalem who had been unable to walk for so long. Jesus came to him in his weakness and brought healing even on the Sabbath, showing His compassion and His power to restore what is broken. His ministry on earth was marked by preaching and teaching and healing every kind of sickness and disease, and crowds came to Him with their sick and afflicted. Scripture points us to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that by believing in His name we have life.

We do believe Jesus still heals today, both spiritually and physically. At times His healing is immediate, as with the official's son, and at times it is gradual. There is much we do not fully understand about why some are healed at once and others over time, but every true healing is from God. Even the natural processes of recovery in our bodies are processes He created and sustains. Whether instant or step by step, healing is His work.

So we pray with you now for your son. Father, in the name of Jesus Your Son, we ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon him. Please remove inflammation, cleanse any infection, strengthen his immune system to fight illness and viruses, and open his airways so he can breathe easily even in the heat. Bring comfort to his lungs and body, and give him and you peace as you trust in Christ. We ask that you would continue to reveal Your love through Your Son, who is our life and our hope, and that you would be honored in his body and spirit.

We will keep praying with you, trusting the Lord who loves your son even more than you do and who hears every prayer offered in Jesus name.
