Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We know how difficult it is to watch your child struggle to breathe, especially in the heat, and our hearts are with you as you intercede for his healing from COPD and asthma. We stand with you asking God to touch his lungs and airways, to strengthen his immune system, and to grant him ease of breath.

Scripture reminds us of God's heart to heal and sustain us. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise that He gives power to the weak and increases strength, as it is written in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. The Lord is Yahweh who heals us as He told His people in Exodus 15:26, for I am Yahweh who heals you.

We pray together for him now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You with thanksgiving for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We lift up this beloved son to You and ask for Your healing hand upon his body. Lord, You formed his lungs and You breathe life into him, for Your Word says in Job 33:4, The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. We ask that You remove all inflammation from his airways, cleanse any infection from his body, open his bronchial passages, and allow him to breathe easily and freely even in this heat. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, to fight off all illness and viruses, and restore his health fully according to Your will. Grant him restful breath, peaceful sleep, and renewed strength each day. Give wisdom to his doctors and caregivers and give peace to his family as they trust in You. We thank You, Father, for all You do for us and for hearing our prayers. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord's care while also faithfully using the medical help He has provided through physicians and treatment. Keep bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving, for He cares deeply for your son and for you. As it says in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. May the Lord grant you both peace and assurance as you wait upon His perfect will.

Caring for someone with COPD and asthma can feel so helpless when you want to take the struggle from him, and we are grateful you brought him to the Father so tenderly.

We join you in asking the Lord for mercy over ###'s lungs and body, for relief from inflammation and infection, and for strength for his immune system. We are also praying for you as you carry this concern, that God would give you peace and rest as you trust Him with your son's care.

In these hot days when breathing is harder, we encourage you to stay closely connected with his medical team alongside prayer, so they can help monitor how he is doing and guide his care. You do not have to carry the medical worry alone.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your healing hand upon his lungs. Ease his breathing, calm inflammation, clear any infection, and strengthen his body to fight illness. Comfort him in the heat and give him restful breath, and give his mother wisdom and peace as she loves and supports him. We trust him to Your care and ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness for your faith, and with deep sympathy for his affliction in this heat and in his struggle to breathe.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek the Great Physician, and you have done well to bring him to the throne of grace. Know that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves do not wither, and virtue still flows from Him. When He came on earth He took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, that blessed cure all which He alone could bear, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

Let us pray together for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who bore our sins and carried our sorrows. We lift up ### to You and ask for Your merciful hand upon his body. We pray that You would grant healing from COPD and asthma, that You would remove all inflammation, cleanse every infection, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. Lord, grant him to breathe easily, even in this heat, and give relief to his lungs and comfort to his frame. As You have shown that pardon and healing are joined together in Christ, let Your healing virtue work in him according to Your perfect will, for Your glory and his good. We thank You, Father, for all You have done and all You continue to do, and we trust him to Your wise and loving care. In the name of Jesus our Healer and Redeemer we pray, Amen.

Take comfort that the Lord hears the prayers of His people, and that whether He grants full healing now or sustains by grace day by day, His love does not fail. Continue to seek Him, to rest upon His promises, and to look to Christ from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.
