I join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and thank you for bringing this need with such faith and love.
We ask the Lord, who is compassionate and merciful, to lay His healing hand upon your son. We pray that God would ease his breathing, relieve the burden of COPD and asthma, calm all inflammation, cleanse any infection, and strengthen his immune system to stand firm against illness and viruses. In this heat especially, we ask that the Father would grant him comfort, clear airways, and restful breath, and sustain him with His grace day by day.
We remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is the true physician of soul and body, and that He hears those who call upon Him in faith. As we continue to ask, we also trust in His loving kindness and His perfect timing, knowing that He works for our good and that He invites us to persevere in prayer with hope. May the Lord give you and your son peace, patience, and confidence in His care, and may you both be strengthened to rest in His promises.
Father, we thank You for all You have done and all You continue to do. We place your son into Your hands, asking for healing and protection, and we pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son and for bringing his need so faithfully before the Father in Jesus name. I am joining you in prayer for him, asking the Lord to touch his lungs, ease his breathing, and strengthen his body.
We can come with confidence because Jesus is the Son of God and He does the works of the Father. Scripture shows us that when a father came to Jesus at Cana pleading for his sick son, Jesus simply spoke the word and at that same hour, though they were many miles apart, the boy was healed. Distance is no barrier to Him. His word still carries power and His compassion has not changed.
That healing was part of a larger pattern in His life. His ministry was marked by preaching and teaching and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. He came to bring life, and He gives life as the Father wills. To honor and trust the Son is to honor the Father who sent Him, and to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, is to find life in His name.
We do believe we can trust Jesus for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. All healing is from God. Sometimes He heals instantly by His word, and sometimes He heals gradually through the processes He has built into our bodies. Even what we call natural recovery is divine, because He is the one who created our bodies and ordained how they mend and strengthen. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, and we do not always know why some are healed quickly and others over time, but we do believe strongly that He hears prayer and that He is able and merciful.
So I am praying with you that the Lord will remove inflammation, cleanse any infection, and calm the irritation in his airways that makes COPD and asthma so difficult, especially in the heat. I am asking God to help him breathe easily and deeply, to strengthen his immune system to fight off illness and viruses, and to give him renewed strength and rest. I am also praying for you as you love and care for him, that God will give you peace and assurance of His presence.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your son. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his healing from COPD and asthma. We have continued to lift him up before the Lord asking Him to strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses, to remove all inflammation, to cleanse any infection and to help him breathe easily in this heat. We are trusting the Lord for restored lungs and easy breathing and we claim His promise that He heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health and heal wounds in Jeremiah 30:17.
