We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you up as you seek freedom from looking lustfully at women on television. We admire your honesty and humility in confessing this struggle and your sincere desire to stop out of love for Jesus and care for others. We want you to know that we do not condemn you and that we are standing with you for purity and victory, and we are encouraged by your tender conscience and your desire to honor the Lord with your eyes and your thoughts.
We pray in Jesus Name that God will give you strength to guard your heart and mind, to turn away quickly from temptation when it appears on the screen, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We pray that He will remind you that when we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us as promised in 1 John 1:9, and that He will create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you as in Psalm 51:10. We pray that He will help you to make a covenant with your eyes as in Job 31:1 and to fill your mind with whatever is pure and worthy of praise as in Phil 4:8, so that you may walk in renewed strength day by day.
