Hearing about what you have carried these past months brings real sorrow, the unresolved electrical danger, the illness and skin injury that followed, the extra costs for repairs and for finding another place to shower, the threats and unfair treatment, and now the long wait without any answer or repayment of the deposit and the money you paid to fix what was not your responsibility. It is right to bring all of this before the Lord and to ask Him to work both in your situation and in the hearts of those who owe you what is just.

Praying that the Holy Spirit would stir the conscience of the landlord and the house manager, bringing conviction where there has been hardness and silence. God sees dishonest dealing and He cares about justice. It is good to ask Him to lead them to repentance and to do what is right, to return what they owe and to make fair compensation for the harm and expense you have suffered. At the same time you can continue to seek what is lawful and reasonable in pursuing repayment, trusting that God can work through both spiritual conviction and practical means to bring about what is just.

For your health, especially the skin that was damaged and may take a long time to recover, we bring that to Jesus as well. Scripture shows that God cares about our physical needs. When Matthew writes about Jesus healing many who were sick, he connects it to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and sicknesses, showing that the suffering of Christ touches our physical healing as well as our spiritual healing. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to that same provision. This is why we believe healing is still for today and that God is able to heal.

At the same time the Bible does not teach that God wills healing in every case in the way and timing we ask. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and the Lord did not remove it but gave grace to endure it. There are things about healing we do not fully understand, why some are healed quickly and others are not, and we must leave that wisdom to God. The New Testament also teaches that gifts of healing are distributed by the Spirit as He wills, not possessed equally by all, yet every believer can pray and ask the Lord for mercy.

Healing itself can come in different ways. There is one account where Jesus healed in stages, and more often healing comes gradually through the natural processes God has built into our bodies. That process is still divine, because God is the one who created our bodies and the means of restoration. The apostle John wrote to Gaius that he wished above all things that he would prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers, which reminds us there is a real connection between the health of our inner life and our physical well being. A joyful heart truly does good like medicine, while anxiety and distress can harm the body. Caring for your soul, resting in Christ, and finding peace in Him is part of caring for your body too.

So we pray with confidence but also with submission to God's will, asking for complete healing while trusting His perfect knowledge and love to do what is best.

Father in Jesus name we bring this need before You. You see the injustice and the financial loss, the months of waiting without remorse or communication, and the pain of ongoing illness and damaged skin. We ask that You would awaken conscience and bring conviction to those responsible, that they would repent and do what is right and return what is owed. We ask for Your provision and for justice to be done. We also ask for healing. Lay Your hand upon this body, ease the illness, heal the skin and rebuild what was damaged, whether quickly or gradually through the healing processes You have ordained. Grant peace to the mind and heart, and give wisdom for each next step. We trust Your power and Your love, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord regarding the compensation you are seeking from your landlord for the problems in the apartment caused by the lack of electrical safety, the illness and skin damage that followed, the costs you paid for alternative shower facilities, the security deposit and the repair costs you covered for the technicians and for the electrical system that was not your responsibility as a tenant, as well as the threats and other inappropriate actions you experienced. We have also been praying as you asked that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the conscience of your landlord to do what is right and to repent, and that the community house manager would fulfill her promise to repay what she owes from two months ago.

We join you in praying for complete healing for your skin and for restoration where it was damaged, even though it may take years to heal, and we trust the Lord who heals us as it is written in Isaiah 53:5 and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in Philippians 4:19. We also pray for justice and provision, remembering that the Lord sees and will repay as it is written in Romans 12:19.
