Compensation

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. The injustices you have endured, unaddressed electrical hazards, resulting illness, financial strain, and the refusal of those responsible to make things right, are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father. He sees every detail of your suffering and hears the cries of your heart. We declare that God is your Defender, your Provider, and your Healer, and we join our faith with yours to see His justice and restoration manifest in every area of this situation.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." The landlord and the community house manager are accountable before God for their actions, or lack thereof. Their failure to address these issues, return your deposit, or repay what they owe is not just a legal matter but a moral one. We rebuke the spirit of greed, negligence, and hardness of heart that has kept them from doing what is right. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them deeply, breaking through any indifference or resistance, and lead them to repentance. May they be stirred to act with integrity, returning every penny owed to you and making amends for the harm caused.

We also lift up your physical healing, trusting God to restore your skin and any other areas affected by this ordeal. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We declare that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete restoration, spirit, soul, and body. May the Lord accelerate your healing, rebuild what has been damaged, and bring beauty from these ashes. We stand on Isaiah 53:5, which says, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

Financially, we pray that the Lord would open doors for full restitution. Proverbs 3:27-28 instructs, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it by you." We declare that the resources owed to you will be released speedily, and any attempts to delay or deny you what is right will be overturned by the hand of God. We also pray for wisdom and favor as you navigate any legal or administrative steps needed to resolve this matter. May the Lord grant you discernment and connect you with the right people who can advocate on your behalf.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the wait feels long. Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Do not lose heart, your persistence in prayer and your trust in God are not in vain. The enemy may have intended this situation for harm, but God will turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). We also remind you to guard your heart against bitterness or resentment, as Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Instead, we pray that you would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lastly, we want to gently address the importance of bringing every request before God in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved or receive answers to our prayers (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to continue praying in Jesus’ name, trusting that He intercedes for you even when you don’t see immediate results (Romans 8:26-27). The name of Jesus carries authority, and we declare that authority over every aspect of this situation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has endured so much. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Stir the hearts of the landlord and the community house manager to do what is right, return the security deposit, repay the repair costs, and compensate for the suffering caused. Break any hardness in their hearts, Lord, and let them see the weight of their actions through Your eyes.

We pray for complete healing, physically, emotionally, and financially. Restore what has been damaged, Lord, and bring beauty from these ashes. Provide for every need and open doors for full restitution. Give this dear one patience, peace, and perseverance as they wait on You. Protect their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your joy and hope.

We rebuke every spirit of delay, greed, and negligence in this situation. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn around for good. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. We trust You to bring this matter to a godly resolution, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We have been following your updates and are praying with you through this exhausting, drawn‑out struggle. Waiting nearly two months without any movement from the landlord or the house manager feels so heavy, especially when you are also carrying physical pain and the frustration of having paid for repairs that were never your legal responsibility. When a wrong drags on like that, it can wear down hope and make you wonder if anyone sees what is fair, but God sees it all, and He cares about every detail.

One practical thing we would encourage is to put every outstanding debt in writing: itemize the security deposit, the repair costs you fronted, and the compensation you are owed for the lack of electrical safety, alternate shower costs, and the way you were treated. A clear, dated list sent to both the landlord and the house manager keeps the facts in front of them, and it also gives you a record should you need to pursue this through a local tenant advocacy group or small claims process. You do not have to navigate this alone; sometimes just having someone else who understands the laws in your area step in can stir a response.

We also noticed you mentioned the skin damage from the procedure and the long road of healing ahead. That deserves its own tender care, so alongside prayer we gently encourage you to let a doctor look at the affected areas. Medical support can bring real relief while we keep asking God for full restoration.

Please know we are not tiring of standing with you. We are asking the Holy Spirit to awaken that landlord’s conscience and move the house manager to keep her word.

Lord Jesus, You are our advocate and the God who restores what has been taken. We lift up this tenant’s weary heart and ask You to break the silence, stir the landlord and the house manager to repay every debt they owe. Bring swift justice where there has been only delay. Touch the damaged skin and rebuild it day by day until healing is complete. And in the long waiting, hold this precious person steady in Your peace and hope. We ask in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

The Great Landlord of all holds every earthly landlord in the hollow of His hand; they are but tenants of His authority, stewards who must give account. Turn your eyes from the one who has wronged you, to Him who never fails in justice. The unpaid debt, the broken health, the skin marred by affliction, these are bitter drafts, yet the Physician of souls is nigh. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least touch of Christ’s garment carries virtue enough to restore what the cankerworm has devoured. Seek not first the copper coins of compensation, but the golden healing that flows from His wounds. For when pardon and peace are applied to the heart, the body often finds its respite; the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and even scarred flesh knows the balm of Gilead.

Yet your demand for what is justly owed is not forgotten before the throne. The Lord who notes the sparrow’s fall keeps a strict record of every wrong. The landlord’s conscience, now seared and silent, can be roused by the same Spirit who breaks the flint into a well of waters. Pray that conviction sharpens into repentance, not merely that your purse be refunded, but that the man’s soul be rescued from the pit. He who withholds wages that are due cries out against heaven, and the cry enters the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously; though the wheels of His chariot tarry, they arrive with crushing certainty. Wait upon the Lord, and in the waiting, let your own heart be purged of every root of bitterness. The healing you crave for your skin may well begin in a spirit that forgives before the debt is paid, for unforgiveness is itself a fever that consumes. Healing must precede service, and the first service of a broken heart is to lay all its claims at the pierced feet. The Lord took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up; contact was made, and the fever fled. That same hand is stretched out to you, not first to mend the body, but to lift the soul from its prostration. Seek the forgiveness that only Christ can speak, the kind that brought the palsied man both pardon and the strength to rise, take up his bed, and walk. When the Great Physician utters, “Be of good cheer,” sin’s palsy and skin’s sorrow alike must bow.
