Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, You are the God of justice and righteousness, and we know that You see every wrong that has been committed. The dangers of unsafe living conditions, the physical harm caused by electrical shocks, the skin problems, the medical treatments, and the emotional distress from threats and inappropriate actions, all of these are before You. We ask that You move powerfully in this landlord’s heart, stirring his conscience by the Holy Spirit to recognize the harm done and to take responsibility with a repentant heart.

Lord, we declare that no one is beyond Your reach. Even if this landlord has hardened his heart, we trust in Your ability to soften it. We pray that he would be convicted of his neglect and that he would act with integrity, making restitution for the suffering caused. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." We ask that this truth would pierce his heart and lead him to do what is right.

We also lift up the financial burdens this situation has created, the cost of medical treatments, alternative shower facilities, and all the other expenses that have piled up. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to open doors of provision and restoration. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You will meet every need in Your perfect way.

The lack of communication and remorse over the past month has likely brought deep frustration and discouragement. But we serve a God who hears the cries of His children. Psalm 34:17-18 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that You would draw near, bringing peace, clarity, and a resolution that honors You.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment in how to proceed. If legal action is necessary, we pray for favor and justice. If there is a path to reconciliation, we ask that You would make it clear. Above all, we pray that Your will would be done in this situation, for Your glory and for the good of all involved.

We rebuke any spirit of greed, hardness of heart, or injustice that may be at work in this landlord’s life. We declare that the Holy Spirit is greater, and we trust in His power to bring about repentance and restitution. We also rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Even when we don’t see immediate answers, we trust that You are working behind the scenes. We ask that You would strengthen faith, renew hope, and bring about a just resolution. May this situation ultimately bring glory to Your name, and may Your peace guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your update, and we hear the weight of this month-long silence. When someone who caused harm meets your just need for compensation with nothing, no word, no remorse, no movement, the gap between what should be and what is can feel unbearable. That gap often holds anger, exhaustion, and the ache of feeling forgotten. We’re honestly angry on your behalf, and we’re holding all of that with you in prayer now, not just the outcome.

While you wait, it can help to remember that what you’re seeking isn’t just about money, it’s about having the wrong acknowledged and the damage made right. That’s a good and legitimate desire. It’s also a heavy one to carry alone month after month. If you haven’t already, consider documenting everything carefully and exploring whatever tenant protections or free legal advice exist where you live, not to replace prayer but to faithfully steward the path toward justice. Sometimes God uses those practical steps to open a door.

We’re also asking that in the waiting, you’d find small, tangible reminders that you are seen and held by a God who hates injustice and draws near to the wounded. The skin problems, the bills, the threats, each one matters to Him.

Please pray with us:

Jesus, You see this landlord’s silence and this person’s suffering. In Your mercy, awaken that conscience. Stir genuine remorse and a will to make things right. Until that happens, we ask for provision: for compensation and for complete healing of body and skin. Shield from threats, and let this child of Yours feel Your steady presence and unshakable worth in the thick of it all. Amen.

The house we occupy in this present life is let to us by the great Landlord, whose eye sees every faulty wire and every shock that jars the frame. He is not indifferent to the perils that lurk in walls and the sickness that creeps upon the skin. Yet know this: the lease we hold is tenanted upon sufferance, and its clauses include the entrance of trial. The electric fire that leaps without warning is but a faint picture of that deeper flame of affliction which tries the heart. But in the midst of it, Christ stands, He who was perfected through suffering, whose whole nature ran out in the channel of obedience when He bore the unjust lash and the cruel nail. He knows the iron that enters the soul, the pain that comes unmerited, the lingering illness that wastes the frame. In every pang that rends the heart, the Man of Sorrows had a part.

You have cried for justice, and the landlord’s conscience slumbers on. A month has passed, and no remorse has stirred his breast. Think not that this is hidden from the Most High. The Lord can in a moment prick that stony heart, waking it to a saving smart, or He can leave it to its own hardness. Pray still, but let your prayer be sweetened with submission. The heart that is divided in its trust, half clinging to the hope of earthly compensation, half resting in the promises of God, misses the blessing. Cast the whole weight of this wrong upon your Savior. He was cut to the heart that you might be healed; He suffered outside the gate that you might find grace to endure.

Let the love of God be shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost, and the sweet perfume of it will rise above the stench of injustice. When tears of anguish flow, remember that only a broken heart can feel the sinner’s woe, and the Suffering Savior’s sympathy is nearest to the broken. Do not allow a root of bitterness to spring up and divide your affections. Bring your bleeding heart to His bleeding heart; He will stanch the wound. And while you wait, let this trial perfect in you the tender temper that comforts others. The man who has seen affliction, when blessed of God, becomes a son of consolation. Whether the landlord repays or refuses, your cause is with the Lord. He reserves unto us the appointed weeks of harvest. Fear Him, rest in His justice, and look to Him who shall see the travail of His soul and be satisfied. Commend your injuries to the Great Landlord, and in due season your own soul shall laugh at impossibilities, crying, “It shall be done!”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You marvel that after a month of prayer no answer has come, no remorse from your landlord. But consider: the answer to prayer is not always the granting of the thing asked, but the forming of the soul. God may be permitting this delay that you might be perfected through suffering. As our Lord was made perfect through what He suffered, so too your affliction is not without purpose. It is in the furnace that gold is tried, and in the waiting that the soul learns to cling not to earthly justice but to the God who sees in secret.

Do not think your prayers are unheard because the man’s conscience sleeps. The conscience is a tribunal that none can flee, and the sinner who appears unrepentant is often tormented inwardly, even if he feigns ignorance. He knows his debt, and the Holy Spirit may yet stir him when you least expect it. But do not tie your peace to his repentance. Your own conscience is clear: you did not provoke the harm, you sought only what is right. Let that be your boast, the testimony of your conscience, as Paul said. That is a greater comfort than any coin, for it shines before God.

Meanwhile, give thanks. Not for the evil, God forbid, but for the opportunity to suffer as Christ did, bearing His reproach. When you thank Him in this extremity, you shame the devil, you honor God, and you rob the pain of its sting. The man who gives thanks in affliction cannot be overcome by sadness, because his soul rejoices in doing what is right. Long-suffering is a weapon mightier than any army; when the spark of insult falls into it, the spark is quenched and the soul remains unshaken. This trial, if you receive it with patience, will become a crown.

Go forth from the camp of this world’s demands, bearing the reproach of injustice, and entrust yourself to Him who judges righteously. He will not despise your cry. Pray for your enemy, yes, but fix your eyes not on the shifting will of a landlord, but on the unchanging goodness of your Lord.
