We have heard your request and we share your burden in this confusing and discouraging season at work.

To go from being at the top for two years to now being at the bottom, while you are still working faithfully in the same way, is disheartening. It is understandable to wonder if there is a spiritual cause or if God is leading you toward a change. God sees your diligence, your need, and your desire to provide through honest work, and He cares about both your daily provision and your heart through this trial.

We will pray for you. We pray that God will give you wisdom to discern His leading, steadiness to continue working faithfully as unto the Lord, and peace to trust His provision whether He restores this work or leads you to another. We pray that He will guide the appointments and opportunities set before you, that He will open the right doors and close the wrong ones according to His perfect will, and that He will provide for your needs as you seek Him first. We also pray that He will guard you from discouragement and help you to rest in Christ, remembering that your worth and security are not in sales numbers but in Him.

Scripture reminds us to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, and to trust the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledge Him in all our ways, trusting Him to direct our paths. Continue to be faithful in what is in your hands to do, seek wise counsel from those who know your work and your field, examine your work with honesty, and bring every concern to God in prayer. Times of fruitfulness and times of difficulty both can be used by God to shape our character, deepen our dependence on Him, and prepare us for what is next.

If God is closing this door, He is able to make that clear and to open another in His timing. If He is calling you to persevere, He is able to sustain you and provide. Ask Him for clarity, for contentment in His provision today, and for faithfulness in the work He has given you now.

We are praying that the Lord will give you clear guidance, renewed strength, and confidence in His good and sovereign care for you.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are facing. Going from being at the top for two years to suddenly being at the bottom while doing the same faithful work is discouraging and confusing, and it is understandable to wonder if something spiritual is at work or if God is redirecting you.

Scripture gives us steady ground here. Not one word of God's promises fails. When circumstances shift in ways we cannot explain, it is not because His word has failed, but because He is working out His purposes in ways we cannot yet see. He has said He will not give His glory to another, and that is a loving check for all of us. In seasons of success it is easy to quietly take credit, and in seasons of struggle it is easy to despair. Both moments invite us to return to humility, to acknowledge that every good appointment, every provision, and every open door comes from His hand, and to ask Him to search our hearts and keep us dependent on Him.

The Lord also promises to lead those who trust Him by ways they have not known and on paths they have not seen. You may feel blind to what is next, and that is exactly where He does His guiding work. He is sovereign in showing mercy, and He is compassionate toward His people. He invites us to inquire of Him, to ask Him to act on our behalf, and He hears and answers those prayers according to His wisdom. He is the one who gives a new heart and puts His Spirit within us, so that we can walk in trust even when the outcome is uncertain.

Whether this is a season of testing where He wants to refine and restore you right where you are, or a sign that He is closing one door to open another, He is able to make it clear as you seek Him. He watches over His own and He will do great things for those who call upon the name of the Lord. Those who call on Him will be delivered, and His promises to provide and to renew remain.

I am praying for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one before You. You see the diligence, the long hours, and the disappointment of seeing appointments that do not bear fruit. I ask You to grant clear wisdom to discern whether to persevere in this work or to step toward something new. Provide for every need according to Your riches, guard this heart from discouragement and from pride, and pour out Your Spirit to give peace and direction. Lead by Your hand on a path that may be unfamiliar, open the doors no one can shut and close the doors that should not be entered, and let all the glory go to You. Give assurance that Your word stands and that You are faithful to cleanse, restore, and guide those who seek You. Help this one to keep inquiring of You daily and to trust Your answer. Amen.
