We join you together in prayer as you wait for the HMO approval and the scheduling of your colonoscopy and endoscopy, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach our Father.
We understand how waiting can bring anxiety about health and about results, and we lift up your request for peace and health while you wait, and for good results according to the will of God. Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We cling to that promise for you, that even in uncertainty, His peace can guard your heart and mind. We also remember the word, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and lift up our dear one to You. We ask You to grant peace that surpasses understanding during this time of waiting, to calm every fear and to steady the heart with trust in Your goodness. We ask for Your hand upon the HMO process and upon the scheduling, that doors would open in Your timing, and for skill and wisdom for the doctors and staff who will perform these procedures. We pray for good health and for favorable results, and above all we pray Thy will be done, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28 We ask You to touch the body with Your healing power, for You are the One who forgives all our sins, who heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 We ask for restoration and wholeness, for Your word says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We place this body, this future, and these results into Your loving hands, asking for comfort, strength, and hope in the days ahead. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon Him while you wait, to rest in His presence, to nourish your body and soul with prayer, with the Word, and with thanksgiving, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him.
