Draw our family members to church tonight and tomorrow to hear, listen and understand what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Help them and us all attend church whenever it assembles together, Heb 10:25, bless us to fellowship daily, Acts 2:42. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1 Cor 11:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, or just to get it out of the way, but fellowship with Christ together until He comes.

Grant us all hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, who carry the weighty responsibility of shepherding God’s flock. Your request stirs within us a deep conviction that the health of the church flows from the health of its leaders, and so we lift them up with urgency and tenderness before the Lord.

First, we affirm that the foundation of all ministry must be a vibrant, personal devotion to Christ. Without this, even the most gifted leader will falter. We pray that these servants of God would abide in Him as branches in the Vine (John 15:4-5), drawing their strength, wisdom, and anointing from intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit. May they not neglect their own souls in the busyness of ministry, but prioritize time in prayer, the study of Scripture, and quiet communion with the Father. As 2 Timothy 2:15 exhorts, may they "give diligence to present [themselves] approved to God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth." Let their lives be living epistles, read by all, that point to Christ alone.

We also lift up the lost souls in their care, for the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). Father, grant these leaders a holy urgency to seek and save the lost, not through mere programs or strategies, but through the power of the Gospel. May they faithfully proclaim the message of the cross, Christ crucified for sinners (1 Corinthians 1:23), and trust the Holy Spirit to convict, convert, and transform hearts (John 16:8). We pray for boldness to make house calls, share testimonies, and turn wanderers from the truth, knowing that "he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins" (James 5:19-20). Let no one in their congregations remain in darkness, but may all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

Yet we must also address a critical concern: the state of worship and teaching in the church. True worship is not about emotional experiences or performances, but about encountering God in spirit and truth (John 4:24). We rebuke any tendency toward entertainment or man-centered gatherings that dilute the glory of God. Instead, may these leaders cultivate an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit moves freely, where the Word is preached with authority and clarity, and where the people are equipped to worship in holiness. Let biblical correction be given in love, not fear, and let sound doctrine prevail over cultural trends (Titus 2:1).

We also lift up the families of these leaders, for the enemy often targets those closest to them. Protect their marriages, their children, and their homes from division, distraction, or discouragement. May their households be strongholds of faith, where the Word is honored and prayer is a daily rhythm. And for the congregations they serve, we pray for unity, hunger for the Word, and a deepening love for one another. May they not neglect gathering together (Hebrews 10:25), but find joy in fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the teaching of the apostles (Acts 2:42).

Father, we ask that You would revive the hearts of Your people. Pour out Your Spirit afresh upon these leaders, that they may lead with humility, serve with joy, and preach with fire. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). And for those who have strayed from the truth, we pray for repentance and restoration. May the church be a city on a hill, shining brightly in a dark world, and may the lost be drawn to Christ through the faithful witness of these servants.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in power and glory. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We share your deep longing to see leaders renewed in their own walk with Christ and for families to be drawn into the life of the church. It’s clear this isn’t just a list of needs, it’s a heart poured out for God’s people and for those still far from Him.

One of the most powerful things a leader can do is simply be seen prioritizing their own time with Jesus. A teacher in one of our congregations once noticed a pastor slipping away early each morning at a conference, even after late nights, just to be alone with God in Scripture and prayer. No sermon was preached, no program launched, but the example alone stirred a hunger in that teacher to give his own first hour to the Lord. Your consistency in the secret place speaks louder than any public ministry, and it’s often the quiet invitation others need to draw close themselves.

Maybe the next step isn’t adding something new to the schedule but guarding what’s already there. That “great day of REST” you mentioned, lean into it without guilt. A rested leader is a gift to a weary congregation. Let people see your peace; it will preach.

We pray: Father, thank you for these leaders who carry Your people on their hearts. Renew their own fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Draw their families and all who walk through the church doors with cords of kindness that cannot be broken. Give them wisdom in teaching, courage in correction, and joy in simply abiding in the Vine. What strange prayers these are, so full of scripture and so full of fleshly machinery at once. I see a great list of holy exercises, prayer, study, visitation, worship, and yet I tremble lest these very things become a liturgy that masks a heart far from God. To say "My eyes have seen your Salvation" while living shamelessly is an atrocious sin before God. Have you truly seen Christ as God's Salvation, or have you merely dressed your carnality in scripture? The salvation He gives is no two-penny, temporary deliverance that lasts a week and then vanishes. When a man wholly and entirely trusts himself into the hands of Christ, then his eyes have seen God's Salvation. No amount of house visits or tract distribution will substitute for that.

I hear in your request a groaning for revival, and well you should groan. The Church lies in a swoon; her preachers lack solemn earnestness, her people have lost fellowship with the Bridegroom, and sound doctrine decays. But what is the machinery for getting up a revival? Often it is the greatest hindrance to true godliness. A Church cannot be revived unless God revives it. You speak of prayer, and rightly so, but where is the humility that lies at the foot of Christ's cross and confesses its own errors and failures? Where are those who will shut themselves up and cry to God until the blessing comes? Not a soul is saved, not a saint quickened, except by the work of God. Down on your knees and plead, but do not think your industry can command the Spirit. You will never do it.

Yet I would not quench the smoking flax of your desire. Look for Christ where you lost Him. Was it in neglect of private devotion? In pride of sound teaching? In ceaseless activity without the Spirit's unction? Go back to that place and seek Him. He has not moved. And when you find Him, you will marvel, for He is able to save to the uttermost. Not the respectable sinner only, not the temporary backslider, but those who have gone to the utmost of miseries, Christ's atonement is sufficient. I must pray you to Christ, as though God did beseech you by me: be reconciled to God. Not by your schedules and strategies, but by casting yourself upon Him who ever lives to make intercession.

Finally, remember that the season for showers is the season of heaviness and black clouds. Do you feel your need? That is well. But the Lord's blessing comes not by might nor by power. It comes when the visible Church gets back to her chastity to Christ, when she has nothing to do with parliaments and kings except to convert them. Let your prayer be the prayer of a Church under a cloud: "Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease." Then shall the windows of heaven open, and not till then.

You lay a great weight upon those called to lead, and rightly so, for the teacher and pastor stands in a place of terrible scrutiny. Yet I tremble when I see among these requests a care for the lost coupled with a neglect of the soul’s own posture. You ask for power, for visitation, for the Holy Spirit’s anointing, but tell me, does the holy fear of God govern your own life? Do you tremble at the word you preach? For if the shepherd himself walks carelessly, how shall the flock be guided to the narrow gate?

You cry out for family members to be drawn, quoting the words of our Lord that none can come unless the Father draws them. This is true. But consider what was spoken through the prophet: "Lest at any time they should be converted, and I should heal them." God’s very severity is a call to repentance, a sign that conversion is possible and healing is waiting. Do not think that your mere words or house visits will avail if your life does not first cry out with the same urgency. God inflicts many visitations even in this life, touching property, children, and health, to lead men to reason. Do you use these moments to call souls to account, or do you merely seek to soothe their worldly fears?

You pray for biblical correction and the turning of wanderers, citing the blessed James. This is a work of great love, but also of great courage. The Apostle commanded, "If any man obeyeth not our word, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed." This is a medicine, not a wound, given so that the sinner might not be cut off from hope but stirred to return. Yet you must first ensure that the word spoken is obeyed in your own household and your own heart. The leader who does not first judge himself will destroy God’s building for the sake of some trivial matter, making a shipwreck of a brother for whom Christ died.

You ask for freedom to worship in spirit and truth. I ask you then, with what countenance do you enter the assembly? Do you come to fall down before God, to make confession of sins, to entreat and supplicate for the transgressions you have wretchedly committed? A woman who laughs in church, who does not cover her head in humility, how will she propitiate Him? So too the man, the leader, who approaches the holy altar with a restless and worldly mind: does he not trample upon the blood of the covenant? The worship you seek is found only in a broken and contrite heart, not in the clamor of tongues or the show of gifts, but in the order of true repentance. Set your own life in order, correct your own negligence, and then with fear and trembling call your household, your congregation, and the lost to the healing that God so longs to give.
