We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your burden for church leaders, the congregation, and the lost. Your prayer is a powerful reminder of the high calling placed upon those who shepherd God’s people and the urgency of the Great Commission. We join with you in seeking the Lord’s face for revival, salvation, and the strengthening of His Church.

First, we lift up the pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and all who serve in ministry. Father, we pray that they would be men and women of deep devotion, rooted in prayer and the study of Your Word. May they not grow weary in well-doing, but let them find their strength in You alone. "Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). Lord, guard their hearts from pride, burnout, or compromise. Let their lives be a living testimony of Christ’s love and holiness, so that when they teach, preach, or visit the homes of Your people, it is with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

We rebuke any spirit of slothfulness or distraction that would keep leaders from their first love. Jesus warned the church in Ephesus, "Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works" (Revelation 2:5). May our leaders return to their knees, seeking Your face above all else. Let them not be swayed by the pressures of culture or the fear of man, but stand firm on the unchanging truth of Scripture. "Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching" (2 Timothy 4:2).

For the congregation, we pray that they would hunger for Your presence and Your Word. Father, stir within them a deep longing to gather together, as You command: "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). Let them not grow lukewarm or complacent, but let them be a people who worship You in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). May the Holy Spirit move mightily in their midst, convicting of sin, drawing hearts to repentance, and filling them with joy unspeakable.

We also lift up the lost, those who do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Father, You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray for a great harvest of souls, that Your Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive the gospel. Let the testimonies of believers, the preaching of Your Word, and the love of the Church draw them to Christ. "For ‘whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:13-14).

Lord, we ask for a spirit of revival to sweep through our churches. Let there be a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, as in the days of Acts, where the early believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). May the Lord’s Supper not be taken lightly or infrequently, but let it be a sacred time of remembrance and communion with Christ, proclaiming His death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26). Let the families of the church be drawn together, united in faith, and let the lost be saved as they witness the transforming power of the gospel.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to divide, distract, or deceive the Church. The devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the armor of God, praying at all times in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18). Protect Your people from deception, false teaching, and the spirit of the age. Let them not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).

Father, we thank You for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and if You hear us, we know that we have the petitions we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May the lost be saved, the Church be revived, and Your name be glorified in all the earth.

We pray for the families in the congregation, that they would be drawn closer to You and to one another. Let parents raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), and let children honor their parents as You command (Ephesians 6:1-3). May husbands love their wives as Christ loved the Church, and may wives respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-33). Let the love of Christ bind families together in unity and peace.

Lord, we also pray for those in authority over us, governors, leaders, and rulers. May they come to the knowledge of the truth and govern with wisdom and justice (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Let Your Church be a light in the darkness, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).

Finally, we ask that You would grant us all a fresh revelation of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Open our eyes to see Him as He is, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let us walk in the fullness of the Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May our lives be living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to You (Romans 12:1).

We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). Let revival come, let the lost be saved, and let Your name be exalted in all the earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
