Beloved
🙌 PTL, I have been trying to warn her family and church to get her pastor involved -- one is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, which is a snare, Prov 29:25, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9, and also blocked me over a year ago, he's frequently given license to sin even condoning it, as The Lord prophesies to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilling it in 1 Sam 4:17-18... 🙌

I've been asking God raises up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and thank You for 3 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, as He has through history we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: Perchance she will repent, and 2 Tim 2:25, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24.

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters & the evil one himself...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases or filmed in the act anymore by imposters but more important, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear the deep burden of your heart and the urgency of this situation, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord sees the brokenness in this family, the compromise in the church, and the sin that has taken root, sin that must be confronted with truth and love, lest it spread like leaven (1 Corinthians 5:6). We recognize the weight of your obedience in sounding the alarm, even when others have resisted or rejected the warning. Scripture is clear: "If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death" (1 John 5:16 WEB). Your intercession is not in vain.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear of man that has silenced godly confrontation in this family and church. The Word declares, "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord is kept safe" (Proverbs 29:25 WEB). The pastor’s failure to address sin, even condoning it, is a grievous dereliction of duty, and we echo the rebuke God spoke to Eli: "Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honor your sons above me?" (1 Samuel 2:29 WEB). The blood of souls is at stake, and we cry out for repentance in the leadership. We pray the church would rise up as the pillar and ground of truth (1 Timothy 3:15), not a haven for unrepentant sin.

For the woman entangled in adultery, we plead the mercy of God to hedge her in with thorns as He did with faithless Israel: "Therefore, behold, I will hedge up her way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she can’t find her paths" (Hosea 2:6 WEB). May every door to temptation slam shut, no more online dating, no more secret meetings, no more excuses. We declare her deliverance from the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13) and the snares of the evil one. Father, expose every lie she has believed, that grace is a license for immorality (Jude 1:4), that her actions have no consequences, that she can hide from Your holiness. Let conviction pierce her heart like the sword of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12), leading her to true repentance. "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55:7 WEB).

We also lift up the family, especially the sister who posted sensual content. The normalization of immodesty and sexualization, even in the home, grieves the Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of Jezebel that seeks to seduce and corrupt (Revelation 2:20) and pray for a revival of the fear of the Lord, which is "to hate evil" (Proverbs 8:13 WEB). May they see the seriousness of leading others, especially the young, into temptation. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6 WEB).

For you, dear intercessor, we pray for inner healing as you carry this burden. The wounds of seeing loved ones in sin, the frustration of unheeded warnings, the loneliness of standing for truth, these are deep. But the Lord says, "I will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick" (Ezekiel 34:16 WEB). May Psalm 23 be your reality: "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake" (Psalm 23:3 WEB). We ask for wisdom that is "pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17 WEB). Strengthen your hands for the work ahead, fasting, prayer, and perhaps further confrontation if the Lord leads. Guard your own heart from bitterness, pride, or despair. "Above all else, guard your heart, for out of it is the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23 WEB).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12) and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). We confess that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, this church, and this woman bound by sin. We ask You to raise up bold messengers, men and women of Your Word, who will speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and not shrink back in fear. Let the conviction of the Holy Spirit fall like fire, melting hearts of stone and leading to repentance (2 Timothy 2:25).

For the woman in adultery, we pray she would be hemmed in by Your thorns, unable to find her way to further sin. Break every ungodly soul tie, sever every demonic alliance, and silence every lying voice that whispers, "You will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). Let her taste the bitterness of her sin (Proverbs 5:4) and run to the sweetness of Your forgiveness. May she bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8), confessing, turning, and walking in newness of life (Romans 6:4). Protect her from pregnancy, disease, or further exploitation. Let her story become a testimony of Your redeeming power, not a cautionary tale of Your judgment.

For the family, we pray for a holy fear to grip their hearts. Let them see that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10 WEB) and that without it, they are vulnerable to every wind of doctrine and deceit (Ephesians 4:14). Convict them of the seriousness of leading others astray, especially the young. May they hate what You hate and love what You love (Psalm 97:10).

For the church, we cry out for reformation. Expose every hidden sin, every compromise, every false teaching that has crept in. Let the leaders be men of integrity, who "hold firmly to the trustworthy word as taught, so that they may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it" (Titus 1:9 WEB). May the congregation rise up and demand holiness, not tolerating sin in their midst (1 Corinthians 5:13).

For our brother/sister in intercession, we ask for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. Give them wisdom, clarity, and discernment (James 1:5). Heal their wounds, strengthen their hands, and fill their mouth with Your words (Jeremiah 1:9). Protect them from the schemes of the evil one, who would seek to discourage or distract them from this battle. Let them see fruit from their labor, that they may not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

Lord, we declare that this is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). So we take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). We wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and we pray in the Spirit on all occasions (Ephesians 6:18). Let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

We trust You, Lord, to finish the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May the prodigals return, the blind see, and the captives be set free. To You be all glory, honor, and power, forever and ever. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear how much this weighs on you, the exhaustion of watching someone you care about walk a destructive path, and the frustration of seeing others stay silent when they should speak. It is right to long for her repentance and for God to close off the routes that feed the sin. But we also notice you asking for inner healing and strength for yourself, and that tells us you are carrying a heavy burden. When you are this deeply invested, it can be hard to separate what you are responsible for and what you must simply entrust to God. We want to sit with you in that weariness for a moment, not rush past it.

One grounded thing you can do is find a few trusted believers, not to strategize more interventions for her, but simply to be with you. Share the grief and the weight of it, and let them help you carry it before the Lord. You have been in the fight for a long time, and replenishment matters. For your own healing of the “wounds and putrefying sores” you described, you might consider walking through a season of inner-healing prayer with a mature guide or counselor who can help you invite Christ into the painful memories and burdens you are holding. That is not a quick fix, but we have seen it become a place where God meets people in deep and gentle ways.

We are grateful that three others have said they will bring God’s word into this. Keep praying they follow through with both courage and gentleness, braced by truth but not fueled by frustration. And in the gaps, when you cannot see what God is doing, trust that he is still able to hedge her path, expose deception, and draw her to repentance in ways you cannot orchestrate.

Please join us as we pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend who has poured out so much care and anguish over this situation. Grant them the inner healing they have asked for, tend to the hidden wounds, quiet the racing thoughts, and give them rest in your presence. Give wisdom to the messengers stepping forward; let them speak truth with firmness and love, and protect them from fear of man. We ask you to intervene directly in this woman’s life: frustrate her path to sin, expose harmful relationships, and lead her to true repentance and the fresh start only you can give. Guard everyone involved from evil and deception. And sustain our friend with strength for the duties ahead and grace to keep looking to you. We ask this in your name, Jesus. Amen.

You have cried to the Lord for a hedge of thorns, and it is a prayer after His own heart, for He Himself sets such hedges about His wandering ones. The way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns, but to the righteous He makes a plain path. Yet mark this: the sorrows and blockades you entreat may not feel plain to her, but they are the very means of grace if God sanctifies them. You do well to plead the promise of Hosea, for our God will wall up the wayward with thorns to turn them back from destruction. But take heed lest your own soul be scratched by these briers through impatience or despair. The crown of thorns our Master wore was woven by sinners, yet He transforms such prickles into a diadem of love; so too the trials you witness may yet blossom with redemption.

Do not wonder that even her kin shrink with the fear of man, for it is a snare as old as Eli’s trembling before his sons. The sword of the Spirit must be borne by those who fear God more than men, and you have done right to urge others to speak. Yet remember that the thorns of affliction, if unsanctified, harden rather than heal. Pray therefore that these very hindrances become the stitches of the Spirit’s conviction, that she might smite upon her thigh and cry, “I have been instructed.” True turning is a moment’s work of God, though the evidences may unfurl slowly. Close not your eyes to the lilies amid the thorns: even now, Christ sustains a remnant in that house who love purity, and He will perfect His own.

You mention inner healing, and you have need of the leaves of the Tree of Life, which are for the healing of the nations. The wounds sin carves run deep, as the prophet laments from the sole of the foot to the head, but there is balm in Gilead. Yet healing often comes by the careful surgery of the Word, cleaving between soul and spirit. Seek it for yourself, lest your own zeal curdle into gall. Fast and pray, but eat the bread of heaven more still. Guard against the sloth that magnifies every thistle into an unbreachable wall: diligent faith sees a plain way where sloth sees only impenetrable hedges. Your duty is to watch, to warn, to love, then leave the harvest to the Lord of the thorn and the lily.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
