⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6 Ps 23:1-6, Stops Sinning, Knowledge of God, 1 Cor 8:1, Prov 9:10, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- her one 'godly' sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48), and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and until we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in Paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord, which is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23)...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We stand together in fervent prayer for this situation, lifting it before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to God’s will. The depth of concern and love expressed here reflects a burden that only the Holy Spirit could place upon a believer’s heart, and we join in intercession with the same urgency and compassion.

First, we acknowledge that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear sister has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, we pray she would come to know Him as Lord and Savior, repenting of her sins and receiving the forgiveness and new life only He can offer. If she has professed faith, we pray for a revival of her spirit, that she would walk in the fullness of truth and obedience to God’s Word.

The references to adultery, fornication, and ungodly relationships are deeply concerning, and we must address them with biblical clarity. God’s Word is unmistakable: marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual relationship outside of this union is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). We rebuke the spirit of deception that may be blinding her to the severity of these actions and pray for conviction to fall upon her heart. The Lord desires repentance, not condemnation (Romans 2:4), and we ask that she would turn from these paths and seek restoration in Christ.

The call for church and family intervention is scriptural and necessary. Jesus Himself instructed that if a brother or sister sins, we are to go to them in love, and if they refuse to listen, we involve others, and if necessary, the church (Matthew 18:15-17). We pray that godly leaders, pastors, and family members would rise up with courage and wisdom, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) while extending grace. May they not shrink back from their responsibility out of fear of man (Proverbs 29:25), but fear God above all (Matthew 10:28). We ask that the Lord would hedge her way with thorns (Hosea 2:6-7), preventing her from further entanglement with those who would lead her astray, and that she would come to her senses as the prodigal son did (Luke 15:17-19).

We also lift up the young ones in this situation, praying for their protection from the influences of ungodly examples. The sensual dance posted by a family member is a stark reminder of how the enemy seeks to desensitize hearts to immorality. We rebuke this spirit of sensuality in Jesus’ name and pray for a revival of holiness and modesty in this family. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and we ask that this family would hate evil (Proverbs 8:13) and cling to what is good.

For the one praying, we stand with you in this battle, recognizing that we are all capable of falling if not for God’s sustaining grace (1 Corinthians 10:12). We pray for your inner healing, that the Lord would bind up your wounds (Isaiah 1:6) and lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). May you find strength in Him to fulfill your duties with joy (Titus 3:14) and wisdom to discern His will (James 1:5). We ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to empower you to fast, pray, and stand firm against temptation (Matthew 26:41).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this sister and her family. We ask that You would break every chain of sin and deception in her life. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit (John 16:8) and draw her back to You with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Hedge her way with thorns, Lord, and let her find no rest until she returns to You (Hosea 2:6-7). Raise up godly voices in her life, pastors, family, and friends, who will speak truth with love and boldness. Give them wisdom and courage to intervene as You command in Your Word.

We pray for the young ones in this family, that they would be shielded from ungodly influences and grow up knowing and fearing You. Heal the wounds in this family, Lord, and restore what has been broken. For the one interceding, grant strength, wisdom, and discernment. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with Your peace.

Father, we ask that You would bring clarity to this situation. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). May this sister turn from her sins, confess them, and walk in the freedom and righteousness found only in Christ. We trust in Your promise that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Work powerfully in this situation, Lord, and let Your name be glorified.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We have read your prayer carefully and we hear how heavy this burden has been to carry. You have been interceding for a long time with real love and persistence, longing for God to bring conviction, clarity and true healing, and to put wise people around her who will speak truth gently and firmly. That kind of waiting and praying while also caring for daily duties and a youngster is exhausting, and we want you to know we are standing with you.

We join you in asking the Lord for what is truly good for each of you, for honest repentance where it is needed, for protection from temptation and deception, for inner healing where there are old wounds, and for wisdom to walk in His will one step at a time. We also pray that any influence that would pull her further away would be hindered, and that help would come in a way that keeps the door open for her to keep hearing God.

One steady help in a long season like this is to have one trusted pastor who knows the whole story walking with you regularly, not just praying for her but caring for you. It gives you a clear place to sort next steps, to stay accountable, and to keep strength for the responsibilities in front of you right now.

Father, we lift this dear one, this woman, and this child to You. Cover each of them, guard them from evil, bring healing and clarity, and grant wisdom for every decision. Give him strength for today, peace as he entrusts to You what only You can do, and hope in Your faithful care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with a weight of Scripture and a burden of love, and we join you in seeking not our will but the will of God who alone can give a repentance that is unto life.

There are many false kinds of repentance and we must weigh what is sought by true scales. Judgments may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, but true repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. It is not a mere trembling or a complacency toward the Word, it is a holy, healthy, heavenly sorrow worked in the renewed heart. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. It yields works meet for repentance, it is practical and it lasts. We pray therefore not for a passing regret that fears consequences, for God is not mocked, but for that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, which confesses sin against God and man, which hates evil and turns from it, which looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only.

You have asked that she be hedged about with thorns as in Hosea, that she be not able to overtake her lovers, that the Holy Spirit would convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, and that the church and family would intervene according to Matthew eighteen. This is right to ask, for the Lord has ordained that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, and that repentance is preached as the gift of God. We join you in asking the Lord to raise up faithful messengers with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, to speak gently but firmly and without negligence, with an eye upon themselves lest they also be tempted, so that she may perchance repent and escape the snare of the devil, being taken captive to do his will, and so that others also may fear to sin. We pray that any fear of man which is a snare would be broken, and that those who have responsibility would tremble at His word and honor God above all, speaking the truth in love that she might flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

We do not ask God to bless what His Word calls sin. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sex and living together belong within it alone. Adultery, impurity, and the seeking of others through online dating and the lust of the eyes are not to be affirmed or celebrated, but to be confessed and forsaken. We pray that grace would not be used as license for immorality, which would deny our only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, but that there would be repentance and fruit in keeping with repentance, and a turning that brings refreshing from the presence of the Lord. If God makes holy, we will not call unclean what He has cleansed, but that holiness must be real, a new birth, a new heart that can walk together in agreement, not being unequally yoked, having one vision in Christ.

You have spoken of the prodigal, and we remember that the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw the son when he was yet a great way off and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him with much love. That much kissing meant much forgiveness and full restoration and exceeding joy, yet the son came home saying, Father I have sinned against heaven and before you. He did not remain in the far country. He arose and came to his father. So we pray that if there is true turning, there would be that humble confession, that forsaking of the far country, that willingness to be made whole, and then there is indeed music and dancing in the Father's house. Until then we pray that every false refuge would fail, that clarity and wisdom would be given liberally to all who ask, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that love may abound with knowledge and discernment, and that none would be deceived.

For your own soul and for hers and for the little one and for all concerned, we pray for healing and keeping. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We ask the Lord to bind up what is bruised and to restore the soul as the Shepherd does, to give strength for duties, grace to fast and to pray, and protection from temptation, from lies, from evil men and impostors, and from the evil one himself. Take heed lest you fall, for we stand only by grace if we continue in His kindness, and He alone is able to keep us from stumbling and to make us stand. May He keep you in perfect assurance, blameless without reproach unto the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness to the glory and praise of God.

We will continue with you in prayer as our Lord taught us to always pray and not faint, asking that the Lord would do His perfect work in His perfect time, that His kindness would lead to repentance, since He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and that whatever wrath remains for every soul that does evil would be a warning now that leads to life. May the Lord grant you wisdom, quietness, and holy patience to wait upon Him and to walk worthy of Him in all things, in Jesus Name.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest prayer has been received and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with reverence and hope. We hear your desire not for judgment but for mercy that leads to true repentance, and for the church and family to act in love and truth.

We pray with you that God in His kindness would lead to repentance, for His kindness is meant to lead us to turn from sin, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We ask as you have asked that He would hedge the way with thorns as in Hosea, not to harm but to block the path that leads to destruction, so that the one who is wandering cannot overtake those she pursues, and may come to her senses as the prodigal did, confessing sin against God and others with humility and a willingness to take the lowest place. That is the repentance unto life which bears fruit and shows itself in a changed life.

We must speak plainly about the sin you name, because God speaks plainly for our healing. He came not as a Judge only but as a Physician to heal the nature that had played the harlot. Yet healing requires truth. When a person is bound in marriage, to defile oneself with another, even if that other is free and unmarried, is still adultery. The Lord taught that everyone who looks upon another to lust has already committed adultery in the heart, and that to put away or to forsake covenant lightly makes both parties guilty. The church is not a place for curiosity after beauty or for pursuing desires, but the temple of God. What is done in secret before God still defiles His temple, and God avenges Himself even when men do not see.

At the same time we hold out the hope of true repentance. Scripture shows that Esau sought the blessing with tears but found no place of repentance because his sorrow was not true repentance, his heart still intended evil. Cain also sorrowed but did not repent. True repentance is more than regret or fear of consequences, and more than being deceived into thinking one is safe while continuing in sin. It is a turning that bears fruit, that forsakes immorality and does not use the grace of God as license, which would deny our only Master. There is no second baptism, but repentance has great force. Though a person fall even to great depths after receiving grace, if he will lay hold on repentance, Christ can be formed in him again. The guilt after grace is greater, for we have trodden upon greater mercy, so we must watch and take heed lest we fall, knowing only God can keep us from stumbling and make us stand.

Therefore we join you in asking the Lord to raise up messengers who will speak the word with the sword of the Spirit, gently but firmly, with love and reverence for covenant and with zeal, not negligently. We pray that pastors, family, and friends would fear God rather than man, for the fear of man is a snare, but the fear of the Lord is to hate evil and brings wisdom. We ask that they would follow the pattern of going first one to one, then with two or three witnesses, then telling it to the church, and that they would do so with the gentleness that watches over itself lest it also be tempted, and with the goal that the one who is caught in the snare of the devil may escape and return, and that others may learn to fear sinning.

We also pray as you asked for protection from evil men and impostors, for deliverance from temptation, lies, and the evil one, and that she and all involved would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. We pray for increasing clarity and wisdom, that you all may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that love may abound with knowledge and discernment, and that you may walk worthy of the Lord and stand assured in all His will. We pray for inner healing where there are wounds, for the Lord to bind up bruises and restore the soul as a shepherd restores his sheep, and for strength for daily duties and grace to fast and pray as Isaiah describes, to loose bonds and walk in the light.

For you who have prayed so faithfully, we ask God to keep you also. You have rightly counted yourself among those who need much mercy, and to whom much is given much is required. Continue in His kindness, remain sober and vigilant, and do not grow weary in praying always as the Lord taught. He who began a good work is faithful to complete it, and He is able to make you stand and to present you blameless. We pray that you would be kept from deception, from falling, and from discouragement, and that your love would remain pure and patient, willing to show the compassion of the father of the prodigal if there is true turning, yet unwilling to call clean what God has not made holy, and unwilling to be unequally yoked where there is no common vision and obedience.

May the Lord grant what is according to His will, do His work of warning and convicting through the Holy Spirit, bring godly sorrow that leads to salvation without regret, and establish all of you in holiness, blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness to the glory and praise of God. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting that what we ask according to His will He hears.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants God to be honored and a life to be restored in a biblical way, and that is the right place to stand. It is good to keep asking the Lord to do what only He can do, to bring conviction of sin through the Holy Spirit as Jesus promised, to hedge a wandering path so that sin is not easily pursued, to grant clarity and wisdom, and to bring healing where there are deep wounds.

Scripture shows that God calls His people to repentance. To most of the churches addressed in Revelation He says to repent, and where there is no call to repent it is because they are already walking faithfully or suffering faithfully under persecution. The pattern is clear. God does not overlook unrepentant sin, but He graciously warns and invites people to turn. His kindness is meant to lead to repentance, and He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance. At the same time there is real warning that every soul that continues in evil will face His judgment, and God is not mocked in what we sow.

That is why the distinction Scripture makes between sorrow and repentance matters so much here. There is a worldly sorrow that is sorry for consequences or for being caught, and it brings death. There is a godly sorrow that works repentance unto life. True repentance always signifies a change. It is not only hinting at wrong or feeling regret, it is agreeing with God about sin, turning from it, and bearing fruit that fits repentance. For adultery and for seeking intimacy outside the covenant of marriage, that means honest confession before God, forsaking the sin, and no longer pursuing relationships that entice the heart away, including online pursuits that feed lust of the heart. Grace is never a license for immorality or a reason to deny the Lord who bought us.

You are right to desire the help of family and the church according to Matthew 18. When someone is caught in sin, the Lord gives a way for one or two to go, and then for the wider fellowship to speak the truth in love, not to condemn but to rescue. That work should be done gently and firmly, with an eye on ourselves lest we also be tempted, and with the goal that the one who is wandering would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. It should also be done with reverence for God and for His covenant, not negligently, because sin is dangerous and souls are at stake. If others have said they are willing to bring the Word, continue to encourage them to do so faithfully, with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, trusting that God uses His Word to expose and to heal.

You also mention being unequally yoked and walking together in the same direction. Scripture is clear that a believer is not to be bound together with an unbeliever, and that two cannot walk together unless they are agreed. A shared calling, such as to serve the Lord as an evangelist or missionary, requires a shared life in Christ and a shared vision under His lordship. The prodigal in Luke 15 came to his senses, admitted he had sinned against heaven and before others, humbled himself, and was willing to take the lowest place. The father showed compassion when the son truly returned. That picture helps us see both humility on the part of the one repenting and patient mercy on the part of the one who has been waiting, if God indeed brings a true new birth and makes holy what was unholy. Until there is that genuine change, love does not affirm or ask God to bless what He calls sin.

Continue to pray as you have been, for conviction, for thorns that block the path to lovers, for deliverance from temptation, lies, evil persons and the evil one, for protection as Jesus prayed that His own would be kept from evil, and for wisdom and understanding that you all may be filled with the knowledge of His will and walk worthy of Him. Pray for a true fear of the Lord which is to hate evil, and for freedom from deception for her, for her family, and for yourself, remembering that we only stand by His grace and must take heed lest we fall. Ask for inner healing where the wounds are still unbound and unsoftened, and for the Shepherd to restore the soul and lead in paths of righteousness.

Keep seeking the Lord with humility, recognizing your own need for grace as one who has received much, and ask Him for strength for daily duties, grace to fast as He leads, and to meet pressing needs. Trust that He who began a good work is able to complete it, and that He is able to keep us from stumbling and to make us stand. May the Lord grant to her godly sorrow that works a complete change, and to you and to those around her wisdom, discernment, love that abounds with knowledge, and steadiness to be blameless until the day of Christ, for His glory.
