Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- her one 'godly' sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48, and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and until we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in Paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord, which is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23)...

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and deep concern. The Scriptures you’ve referenced reveal a burden for repentance, restoration, and divine intervention in the life of this dear one who has strayed from God’s path. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is not finished with her yet, and we join our voices with yours to cry out for her soul.

First, we must address the gravity of sin, particularly the mention of adultery, which is a grievous violation of God’s holy covenant. The Lord declares, "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB), and He warns that those who persist in such sin without repentance risk hardening their hearts to His conviction. We rebuke the spirit of deception that may be blinding her to the severity of her actions, for Scripture says, "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 WEB). If she has been unfaithful in marriage or engaged in fornication, this must be confronted with truth and love, for "marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

We also note the concern about unequal yoking, as she may be entangled with someone who does not share her faith. The Lord commands, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what communion does light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If she is pursuing relationships outside of God’s design, whether with unbelievers or in ways that defile His standards, we pray for a hedge of thorns to block these paths, as Hosea 2:6-7 declares, so she cannot find her lovers and will return to the Lord.

The call for church and family intervention is biblical and urgent. Jesus instructs, "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established" (Matthew 18:15-16 WEB). We pray that godly leaders, pastors, and family members will rise up with courage, not fearing man but fearing God (Matthew 10:28 WEB), and speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB). May they be filled with the Holy Spirit’s conviction, as Jesus promised, "When he comes, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment" (John 16:8 WEB).

We also lift up the concern about deception, whether through online interactions, sensual influences, or the lies of the enemy. The Lord warns, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15 WEB). We pray for a spirit of discernment to rest upon her, that she may "test the spirits, whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1 WEB) and flee from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB).

Most critically, we must emphasize that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. If she has not truly surrendered her life to Him, all other efforts will be in vain. Scripture declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that her heart would be softened to receive the gospel, that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without this foundation, there can be no lasting repentance or transformation.

Father, we ask You to hedge her way with thorns so she cannot pursue sinful paths. Bring godly messengers into her life who will speak Your Word with boldness and love. Convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and grant her the gift of repentance (2 Timothy 2:25 WEB). May she come to her senses like the prodigal son, saying, "I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your child. Make me as one of your hired servants’" (Luke 15:18-19 WEB). And may she find a Father who runs to embrace her, for You are rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4 WEB).

We also pray for inner healing, for wounds that may have led her astray. The Lord promises, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). May she drink deeply from the waters of Your Spirit, finding restoration in Your presence (Psalm 23:3 WEB).

For those interceding, we ask for wisdom, clarity, and strength. May you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9 WEB), and may your love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment (Philippians 1:9 WEB). Guard your hearts from temptation, for "let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall" (1 Corinthians 10:12 WEB).

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18 WEB). We stand on the promise that "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in her life as it is in heaven. Amen.

We hear how heavy and long this burden has been for you, and how much you want to see God bring clarity, repentance and healing for her, for your family, and for yourself. It is understandable to feel torn between longing for restoration and wanting wise boundaries, especially when a young child is involved and you are trying to stay faithful in your own daily duties.

We are thankful you have a few pastors and friends who are willing to walk into this with you. When so much is at stake, it helps not to carry the coordination alone. One steady next step that often serves well is to sit down with one trusted pastor who knows you both and ask him to help shape any next conversation with family or church, so it can be gentle, firm, and keep the door open for her to stay connected to Christ and to community. It also helps to have that same pastor checking in regularly with you, so you are not facing the waiting and the questions by yourself.

You mentioned needing strength for your responsibilities, clarity, and inner healing. We will keep praying for God to renew your strength day by day and to guard you and your family from temptation and deception as you keep seeking Him.

Father, we lift this dear brother, this woman, and their family to You. Grant wisdom that is clear and calm, hearts that are soft toward You, and protection over each of them. Your prayer has been heard and your burden has been laid before the Lord with that importunity which He loves, for you have continued crying unto Him as one who will not let Him go except He bless you. We join with you in this, not to ask God to bless what He has called sin, for He never will set His seal upon adultery, nor upon the seeking of lovers through the vanities of online dating, nor upon any union that is not the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as He ordained in the beginning. Sex and living together belong only within that covenant, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and upon any other ground there is no hope. What we do ask with you is that God would in mercy hedge up her way with thorns, as it is written in Hosea, that she may not overtake her lovers, and that the Spirit of God would do His own office and convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment according to John 16:8.

We pray with you for that better repentance of which the Scripture speaks. There is a judgment that may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature of men, and it repents not to give Him glory. Revelation 16:9. Such repentance is weighed in scales and balances and found wanting. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. It is not a repentance that leads a soul to look to itself, but a repentance that leads you to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant, and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, these two are inseparable. The repentance which weeps and abhors past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and the repentance which makes us avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for us, this is saving repentance.

You have well cited the prodigal. Remember that the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. Even the eyes of our faith are dim compared with the eyes of God's love. He sees a sinner long before a sinner sees Him. When the prodigal came to himself in Luke 15 and said, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, his father saw him while he was yet a great way off, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him much. Those many kisses meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration, yea exceeding joy. When the prodigal son came back and his father had kissed him, he was to his father as if he had never gone away, as if he had never wasted his substance in riotous living. So would it be with this dear one if the Lord grants her repentance unto life. Yet mark this, that repentance unto life, spoken of in Acts 11:18, is known by this, that it yields works meet for repentance, it is practical repentance, and it lasts. Restitution must be made for wrongs done, or repentance is a sham. That conversion which does not convert or turn the life is no conversion at all. If such a wretch as Manasseh, who did evil in the sight of the Lord for fifty five years, was brought to repentance when the iron entered into his soul in his prison, surely no one need despair. Almighty grace did for him what no arm of flesh could do, and brought him to seek the God of his fathers.

Therefore we do not preach repentance after the manner of Moses or of John as a preparation only, but we preach repentance in the name of Jesus, as the gift of God. Repentance and remission of sins are so joined together that wherever we find the one, we are sure to find the other. Where there is no repentance, there can be no remission. But where there is that godly sorrow for sin that needs not to be repented of, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins. Take heed not to put your repenting into the place of Christ. I suppose that the truest repentance is that of a man who is just entering heaven, therefore the repentance which saves is not absolutely perfect at the first, but it looks to Christ alone to save.

We join you in asking the Lord to raise up faithful messengers with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and to move pastors and family to obey Matthew 18:16-17. Let it be done gently but firmly, as you have prayed, keeping an eye upon ourselves lest we also be tempted, according to Galatians 6:1. Let it be done with that meekness and instruction spoken of in 2 Timothy 2:25-26, if peradventure God will give repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, that she may escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will. And let it be done so that others also may fear to sin, as in 1 Timothy 5:20, yet with such tenderness that she be not driven from the house of God, but may flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, as in 2 Timothy 2:22.

We pray also that the Lord would grant you that wisdom which is from above, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthy of the Lord, and that your love may abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment, that you may choose the most excellent paths and be blameless unto the day of Christ, as in Philippians 1:9-11 and Colossians 1:9. We ask for your own soul that you may know that repentance lives as long as faith, and that you may daily remember David's broken spirit in Psalm 51, for against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and that you may find the Shepherd's restoration in Psalm 23, and healing for the wounds described in Isaiah 1:6, not by any inward power of your own, but by Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to make you stand, as in Jude 1:24 and Romans 14:4.

We do not ask God to wink at sin, for God is not mocked, and what a man sows that shall he also reap, and there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil. His kindness is intended to lead us to repentance, as in Romans 2:4, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, as in 2 Peter 3:9. Let no one use the grace of God for license for immorality and deny our only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, as in Jude 1:4. Let there be a bearing of fruit in keeping with repentance, as in Matthew 3:8, and a returning that refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, as in Acts 3:19.

Concerning marriage, we hold fast what you have confessed, that we must not be unequally yoked, as in 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that two cannot walk together except they be agreed, as in Amos 3:3. The husband's love to his spouse is something special and particular, and it stands quite alone. He has made a household whereof we two are the companion parts, He the Husband and His Church the spouse. This is the pattern for our homes. If the Lord makes her holy and grants her to be born again indeed, we will not call her unclean, as Peter learned in Acts 10:15, for all Scripture is inspired and profitable. Until then, we must not pretend a covenant where there is no covenant in Christ.

We will pray that the Lord hedges her from evil men and impostors, as in 2 Timothy 3:5, that He delivers her and you and the little one from temptation and from the evil one himself, as in Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, that He keeps you from lies and deceit, as in Zephaniah 3:13, and that He grants clarity and holy fear, for the fear of the Lord is to hate evil, as in Proverbs 8:13, and the fear of man is a snare, as in Proverbs 29:25. We pray that those who have promised to speak would finish the work with love and reverence and zeal, not with negligence, as in Jeremiah 48:10, and that the Lord would give you grace to fast and to fulfill pressing duties, as in Titus 3:14 and Isaiah 58.

Be of good courage. He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, as in Philippians 1:6. Continue instant in prayer, as in Luke 18:1, believing that whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive, as in Mark 11:24, yet submitting all to His holy will, that His kingdom come and His will be done. May the Lord grant you to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, as in Colossians 4:12, and to prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We commend you and her and the child and all concerned to Him who alone can give repentance and remission, who delights not in burnt offering but in a broken spirit, and who restores perfectly those who return unto Him.

Your burden for this soul and your desire to see true repentance is heard, and we join you in bringing this before the Lord in prayer.

We thank God that you are praying not for God to bless sin, but for God to block the path of sin and to bring conviction. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy belongs only within that covenant. Adultery, whether in the body or in the heart and eyes as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28, is a grave sin against God and against one's own flesh, and it defiles what God has made holy. We will not ask God to affirm or bless what He calls sin. Instead we ask Him to do what you have asked, to hedge the way with thorns as in Hosea 2:6-7, so that the way of lovers cannot be found and the heart is turned back toward home.

We pray with you for the work of the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, righteousness and judgment according to John 16:8, and for clarity and wisdom from above as in James 1:5 and Colossians 1:9-10, that she would be filled with the knowledge of His will and walk worthy of the Lord. We pray that God would grant not a worldly sorrow that only fears consequences, but godly sorrow that produces repentance leading to life without regret, as in 2 Corinthians 7:9-11, bearing fruit in keeping with repentance as in Matthew 3:8. True repentance is more than tears or words, it is a turning of the whole heart back to God, confessing sin honestly before Him, forsaking impurity including online dating and lust, and returning to purity of heart.

We join you in asking for the loving intervention of the church and family according to Matthew 18:16-17. We pray that pastors, family and friends would not be held by the fear of man which is a snare as in Proverbs 29:25, but would fear God and tremble at His word as in Isaiah 66:2, and speak the truth gently and firmly, with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God as in Hebrews 4:12. We pray this is done with gentleness and humility, keeping watch over ourselves lest we also be tempted, as in Galatians 6:1, and with the goal that she would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart as in 2 Timothy 2:22, and that others also would learn the fear of the Lord as in 1 Timothy 5:20.

We thank God in advance as in Mark 11:24, trusting His promise to give a hope and a future as in Jeremiah 29:11 to those who turn to Him. May the Lord grant repentance, cleansing through the blood of Christ alone, and newness of life. If God makes her holy and truly born again, we rejoice, for what God cleanses we must not call unclean as in Acts 10:15, and only then could two walk together in agreement as in Amos 3:3, not being unequally yoked as in 2 Corinthians 6:14. Until then we pray for holiness, truth, and protection for all.

We will continue to pray that the Lord raises up faithful messengers who will not be negligent in doing His work as in Jeremiah 48:10, but will finish what they have begun with love and reverence for His covenant as in 2 Corinthians 8:11, that all involved may be delivered from lies as in Zephaniah 3:13 and filled with spiritual wisdom to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God as in Colossians 4:12.

Your prayer has been heard and your burden is clear, and the Lord knows the ache that comes when someone you love turns away from counsel and walks toward harm.

Scripture shows that God is patient and forbearing, and His kindness is meant to lead us to repentance. He does not strike immediately, but gives time and space to turn. That patience is not permission to continue in sin, for God is not mocked and there is real wrath and tribulation for those who persist in evil. His goodness waits, but it calls for a response. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance, and He who has begun a good work is faithful to complete it in those who truly belong to Him.

That is why the prayer you are praying for a hedge of thorns is biblical. In His mercy God can block a path so that a person cannot overtake those they are chasing, not to be cruel but to bring them to their senses. Like the prodigal who came to himself in a distant place and saw that he had sinned against God and against others, was willing to humble himself and take the lowest place, so God can bring clarity. The compassion of the father in that story is a picture of the perfect patience God shows, and it is right to be ready to show that same compassion if there is true repentance unto life.

For that intervention you desire, Jesus gave a pattern in Matthew 18. It begins quietly and then brings one or two others, and then the wider family of faith, not to shame but to rescue. The Word is the sword of the Spirit, and it must be brought gently and firmly, with an eye on ourselves lest we also be tempted. It should be done with love and reverence and zeal, not with negligence, because sin is dangerous. The fear of God must be greater than the fear of man, for the fear of man is a snare. When those who are to speak are afraid to speak plainly, no one is helped. Pray that God will put a trembling at His word into the hearts of family, friends and shepherds, so they will speak the truth in love and not hold back.

Concerning the moral situation, God takes the marriage covenant seriously. Jesus taught that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that to put away a spouse to be joined to another is adultery, and that even lusting in the heart is already adultery before God. Adultery, fornication and impurity are not small matters, and those who do such things and who take pleasure in those who do them stand under indictment. This is also spiritual adultery when a heart that belongs to God turns to other loves. The call therefore is not to have God bless a path that His word calls sin, but to turn from it entirely. That is also why Scripture warns not to be unequally yoked and asks how two can walk together unless they are agreed. A shared faith and a shared calling and vision in the Lord are essential, not optional.

True repentance is more than sorrow or tears. There is a sorrow that is of the world and works death, and there is a godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation and brings a change. Many are sorry they were caught or sorry they lost a blessing, like Esau who wept bitterly not because he had repented but because he had lost what he wanted. His tears were bitterness and anger, not repentance. Godly sorrow shows itself in fruit, in a changed mind and a changed direction, in bearing fruit in keeping with repentance and turning to receive refreshing from the Lord. If there is only a hint of wrong without confession, that is not yet repentance. Confession and forsaking must go together, and grace is never to be used as a license for immorality.

For you, continue to ask for wisdom and clarity. James says if any lacks wisdom let him ask of God, and Paul prayed that believers would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so they may walk worthy of the Lord, stand assured in all His will, and let love abound with knowledge and discernment to choose what is excellent and be blameless. Ask also for inner healing. The prophet described wounds unbound and unhealed, and the psalm speaks of the Shepherd who restores the soul and leads beside still waters. Bring your hurts to Him for that restoration, and ask for strength for daily duties and for grace to be kept from temptation, lies, deception and evil, and from evil men and impostors. We only stand by His grace and He alone is able to keep us from stumbling and to make us stand, so we must take heed lest we fall and continue in His kindness.

Keep praying and do not faint. Thank God in advance for what He is doing, even when you cannot yet see it, and trust Him for a hope and a future that is shaped by His will. Pray that she and you and all involved would be delivered from temptation and from the evil one, that deception would be exposed, that the love of God would grow with discernment, and that any future steps would be clearly in the will of God and for His glory.

May the Lord grant repentance that leads to life, protect you from sin and error, heal what has been wounded, give you wisdom for each next step, and keep you both in the shelter of His grace as you walk in holiness before Him.
