Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7... Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, including all of us (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48, and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.
 
We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace. The weight of your concern is evident, and we join you in intercession, believing that God is not finished with her, nor with any of us, until His perfect work is complete (Philippians 1:6). Your plea reflects a deep love, not only for her but for the holiness and righteousness of God, and we echo your urgency with the same holy fear.

First, we rebuke every spirit of deception, rebellion, and hardness of heart that may be blinding her to the truth. The Word declares, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). We command these blinders to be torn away in Jesus’ name, that she may see the snare of the enemy and the destruction that follows unrepentant sin. The hedge of thorns you have prayed for is already being erected by the Lord (Hosea 2:6-7), and we declare that no ungodly relationship, no worldly allurement, and no deceitful pleasure will satisfy her, only Christ can fill the void in her soul.

We also lift up the church and family members involved, for Scripture is clear: "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established" (Matthew 18:15-16). The fear of man has too often silenced godly confrontation, but we pray that holy boldness would rise in those around her. May pastors, family, and friends not shrink back from speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), even if it brings temporary discomfort. We declare that the fear of the Lord would grip their hearts, for "the fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe" (Proverbs 29:25).

The matter of adultery must be addressed with clarity. If she has been unfaithful, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually, this is a grievous sin against God and against the covenant of marriage (Exodus 20:14; Matthew 5:28). We pray for conviction to pierce her heart, not merely for the sake of guilt, but for the sake of repentance that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). The prodigal son came to his senses when he realized the emptiness of his choices (Luke 15:17-19), and we cry out for her to do the same. May she turn from every ungodly relationship, every compromise, and every lie that says, "This is not sin." The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and we declare that He will not despise a contrite spirit.

We also rebuke the spirit of immorality that has infiltrated even the godly sister who posted sensual content. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and modesty is not legalism, it is a reflection of reverence for God. We stand against the deception that says, "It’s just a dance," when it stirs lust in the hearts of others. The Word warns, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20), and we pray for a holy fear to replace complacency. May all involved hate evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

Your mention of inner healing is vital. The wounds of the past, whether rejection, abuse, or unmet needs, can leave deep scars, but the Lord is the Great Physician (Isaiah 1:6; Psalm 23:3). We pray for the balm of Gilead to flow over her soul, that she would know her true identity in Christ and find her satisfaction in Him alone. The enemy has lied to her, whispering that she is unloved or unworthy, but the truth is that she is "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) and deeply cherished by the Father.

For you, dear intercessor, we pray for strength and wisdom. The battle is fierce, but you are not alone. "The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that you will not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord grant you discernment to avoid every evil influence (2 Timothy 3:5) and grace to walk in purity, humility, and dependence on Him.

Finally, we lift up the young ones in this situation. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we pray that they would be shielded from the consequences of sin and raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). May they see the power of repentance and restoration, not the devastation of rebellion.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken over sin but hopeful in Your mercy. We thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would hedge this sister in with thorns, that she may turn from every path that leads to destruction. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit (John 16:8), and grant her the gift of repentance (2 Timothy 2:25). May she flee from every ungodly relationship, every compromise, and every lie of the enemy.

Lord, we pray for the church and family to rise up with boldness, not fearing man but fearing You alone. Give them wisdom to speak the truth in love, and may their words be seasoned with grace and truth (Colossians 4:6). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every chain of deception is broken in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask for inner healing for her soul. Where there are wounds, bring Your healing touch. Where there is emptiness, fill her with Your love. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. May she find her identity, worth, and purpose in Christ alone.

For the one praying, grant strength, wisdom, and perseverance. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with Your peace. May they continue to stand in the gap, knowing that their labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation, for Your glory. Amen.
 
We have been sitting with your words, and we can feel the weight you’ve been carrying, the sleepless nights pleading for a hedge of thorns, the longing for others to step in with courage, and the ache of watching someone you love run from all that is good. That kind of waiting is exhausting, and we are not meant to bear it alone.

What stands out is that you mentioned five people who said they were willing to bring God’s Word into this situation, yet as far as you know, that hasn’t happened yet. That gap can feel like another disappointment on top of everything else. One practical step may be to gently follow up with one or two of them, not to pressure, but to say, “I’m still holding onto hope that you’ll speak into this. Is there a way I can support you in doing that?” Sometimes people hesitate not from unwillingness but from not knowing how or fearing they’ll make things worse. A simple conversation can clear the way.

At the same time, your own soul needs tending. The sheer volume of Scripture you’ve poured out shows a heart that is striving hard. We want you to know that God does not need you to convince Him. He already sees, and He is already working even when every outward sign says otherwise. The hedge of thorns you are praying for is His specialty, He knows exactly how to frustrate paths that lead to destruction, and He often does it in ways none of us could orchestrate. Rest is not the same as giving up. You can sleep and still trust.

Lord, we come with this heavy heart that has laid so much before You. You know every detail we cannot put into words. We ask for the power of Your Spirit to bring deep, undeniable conviction where it is needed, and for a fresh infusion of courage for those You have called to speak. Please hedge the path with thorns and block what is harmful, in Your timing and Your way. And for this one who is praying, grant a deep, steady peace that is not dependent on outcomes, and the grace to keep walking forward. In Jesus’ name.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

 
The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns, but you have not been slothful in prayer. You have cried out with scripture upon your lips, and that is well. Yet remember that the thorns you ask God to plant as a hedge are not only for the wanderer, they grow for us all in this sin-scarred earth. "Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you," even to Christian men. Trials come very variously, and without them should we have any brave Christians at all? The very sorrows you plead for may become a hedge to keep the goats of worldly pleasure from devouring tender graces.

But let us speak plainly of this repentance you seek. It is a fearful thing when judgment produces only a carnal repentance, a repentance of the flesh that does not give God glory. True repentance, the work of the Spirit, makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ. Here are scales: does this repentance you pray for give God glory? Does it make the soul abhor past life because pardoning love has come? The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant, and the faith which admits Christ to be sole master, these are inseparable. Beware of a surface plowing. The great subsoil plow of soul-anguish must tear deep, or the old native thorns, with their awful vitality, will spring up again and choke the seed. Pray on, but know that conviction's plow must cut up the roots.

Do not think repentance is a bitter operation to be gotten through once. Repentance lives as long as faith. Sweet Sister Repentance is such charming company that we shall almost regret to part with her at the gates of pearl. The repentance that makes us avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for us, this is saving repentance. Look to the crown of thorns pressed upon our Savior's brow. Did our sins put thorns around His head? Then let that sight be a stimulus to genuine grief. Let us pray for grace to hedge our lives around with thorns that sin may not approach, but let the sight of His thorns produce the truest sorrow.

And for your own inner healing, you who pray like one wounded from head to foot, hear this: the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf shall not wither. Bring your sickness of heart, your exhaustion, the very dizziness of this long trial, to Him. These healing leaves change the life-blood and make the nature other than it was. As you stand in the gap for another, see that you yourself stand beneath that healing tree, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. May we meet in heaven, made whole.
 
You have prayed with many words, and it is good to rehearse the Scriptures, for they are the medicines for our wounds. Yet I would remind you that a prayer so long must be matched by a life no less attentive. You ask for a hedge of thorns about this woman. Consider then what the thorns are: not merely outward obstacles, but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of pleasures, which choke the word and make it unfruitful. It is no small thing to ask God to hedge someone about, for He often sends affliction as the sharp pick that roots out these choking weeds. Are you prepared for how He might answer? She may cry out as one pricked and hemmed in, and that very pain could be the beginning of her coming to herself. Do not seek to remove the thorns before they have done their work.

But I fear for many who, when they are hedged in, feel remorse only after the sin is complete, like Judas, who threw down the silver yet did not find true repentance unto life. There is a sorrow of the world that produces death. Do not be satisfied with mere regret or fear of consequences. Pray rather that her heart be broken with a godly grief that leads to full confession and a return, like the prodigal, who not only was hungry among the pigs but resolved to go to the father and say, “I have sinned against heaven and before you.” That is the repentance that finds the father running to meet him. That is the fruit worthy of amendment.

You mention church and family intervention. This is according to the Lord’s commandment. Yet I must caution: let it be done not with harshness but with the gentleness that considers yourself, lest you also be tempted. The sword of the Spirit is sharp, but it must be wielded by hands that are clean and hearts that mourn. Remember that even when a member is cut off for a time, the goal is restoration, not destruction. Do not let the zeal of rebuke turn into a gnat that you choke on while swallowing the camel of pride.

What of your own field? Look within and pull up the thorns there first. You say you are chief of sinners; do not let that be a pious phrase only. For if we drink the rain of God’s word and yet bring forth thorns of jealousy, resentment, or a judging spirit, we too are in danger. Let us shake off the sleep of worldly cares. If the day of trial finds us sleeping, a deathless death will overtake us. So rouse yourself, and make your own life a church that sings hymns instead of ill-timed cries.

Do not grow weary in prayer, but do not use many words as if you would inform God of things He does not know. The hedge will be set, the conviction will come, the inner healing will follow, if she yields. But if she hardens herself beyond a certain point, know that there is a sin that leaves no place for repentance, not because God’s mercy is exhausted, but because the soul has so twisted itself that it cannot turn back. Yet while there is breath, hope remains. He who delivered the apostle from the lion’s mouth will deliver every soul that truly calls upon Him, not from the beast of punishment only, but from the deeper lion, the devil, who seeks to devour even the remorseful. Pray, then, that she may be delivered from the evil one, not merely from the shame of her actions.

As for the sister who posted that shameful dance, you did well to rebuke sharply. But let your rebuke be mixed with tears, lest she too stumble into despair. The whole family needs a holy fear that hates evil as much as it loves the beauty of the Lord’s house. Pray that they all may be filled with the knowledge of His will, which is not a knowledge of the head alone but of the life laid down in obedience.

Do not look for the end before the appointed time. The promise is that He who began a good work will complete it. Until then, stand firm, resist temptation, and show the same patience you ask for her. The church is a household of one Father, and when one member is out of joint, the whole body suffers. Bear the pain as a sacrifice, and let your frequent refrain be not only “hedge her way” but also “Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.” Then, whether she returns or not, you will be found faithful, and the peace that passes understanding will guard your heart.
 
Your prayer reveals a heart deeply burdened, not out of malice but out of a longing to see someone you care about turned from a destructive path. That is exactly the kind of love that should drive the intervention you are asking for. The Scriptures you have laid before the Lord are not empty words; they are the very means the Spirit uses to convict and restore. Be encouraged that God is not finished with her, nor with any of us, for His patience is meant to lead to repentance.

When a brother or sister becomes entangled in sin, the church is not to stand by silently. True compassion does not ignore the leaven that will otherwise spread and harden the heart. You spoke of the elders and others being willing to bring the sword of the Spirit to the situation. That is a serious and necessary work, but it must be done with a clear purpose. The goal is never merely punishment or exclusion. The aim is that the person, seeing the seriousness of her choices and feeling the weight of being cut off from the life of the body, would come to her senses. Like the prodigal, the emptiness of the far country can become the very thing that drives her home. The temporary sorrow of godly discipline is meant to produce a repentance that leads to salvation, not to destruction.

At the same time, any of us who approach such a task must do so with a deep awareness of our own fragility. A church that exercises discipline while harboring its own hidden hypocrisy invites disaster. We are all capable of the very same falls. The power to stand is not our own; it rests entirely on the kindness of God. So we go with gentleness, keeping watch on ourselves, lest we also be tempted. The rebuke that flows from self-righteousness will only wound, but correction that flows from a fellow sinner’s tears can heal.

You have asked for a hedge of thorns to be placed around her. That is a prayer God often answers, for He loves her too much to let her overtake her lovers without pain. The frustration and the roadblocks she may encounter are not signs of His absence; they can be the merciful restraints of a Shepherd who will let His sheep wander only so far. Pray that these thorns make her stop and remember her true deliverance. Just as Israel was constantly called to remember their rescue from Egypt, a picture of being set free from sin’s bondage, so she needs to recall the blood that bought her. It is a memorial not of a past event in a far-off land, but of a living deliverance that she is presently spurning.

Do not lose heart if the process is slow. The leaven of sin works secretly, permeating everything if left unchecked, but the Lord has His own ways of purging His church. Even painful purges are acts of mercy, purifying a lump so that it might be truly unleavened. When a body can no longer tolerate what is evil, it is a sign of health, not cruelty. Yet we must always remember that the Lord went around doing good and healing; His harshest words were for those whose narrow religious traditions kept people from experiencing the touch of God. So let the truth be spoken firmly, but let it always leave the door open for the embrace of a waiting Father.

As you wait and pray, be careful that this burden does not consume you or lead you into a harshness that misses the heart of Christ. Continue to ask for wisdom and inner healing for yourself as well. The duty to meet pressing needs, to fulfill your own calling, remains. You cannot carry her soul, but you can carry her to the throne. Keep pleading the promises, keep trusting the Shepherd who restores souls, and leave the outcome in His hands. He is able to make her stand, and if she will truly repent, you must be ready, like the father in the parable, to run with compassion and welcome her home.
